I first knew about this place through word of mouth, and ever since my first experience I've been back time and time again. It has been over 20yrs now, and I have never had a bad experience. It's probably been at least 10 years since I've been here, and they haven't forgotten me. This time around I came in for a new external hardrive, because my old drive was giving me issues. They were able to upload safely all the files and transfer them over to new drive with no data lost. While we were going over the external hardrive on my laptop, Mohamed noticed that my computer was extremely slow and the "wheel" kept spinning. I told him that it was a very old Mabook Pro. He examined it some more, and made a couple of suggestions to me. Now, I have been thinking of buying a brand new MacBook Pro for some time since mine is very slow. This would cost me thousands of dollars (between $2k-$4k). He flat out right told me I do not need to do that. His suggestion was to upgrade my internal hardrive on my 10yr old MacBook Pro laptop, and add a little more memory. For the few hundred dollars I spent on his advice, I not only saved myself a heck of a lot of money, but my laptop is running at a tremendously faster speed like it was brand new again. Plus, all the data was transferred over safely and no data was lost. Overall, this place is not here to upsell you. In fact they are very knowledgeable, professional and honest. They will advise you to what is in your best interest so they can earn your business for life. If you have any issues wether with your Apple or Windows computers, drives, accessories, etc. then give this place a shot. I highly doubt you will leave disappointed. read more

It is long overdue that I write a 5 star review for Crescentech/ C-Tech. (They recently shortened their name to C-tech (or C Tech?) so this page should get updated) My family and I have been customers here for over 20 years and have always been satisfied! We've always known Mohammad & staff to be fair and honest. Over the years we've bought computers and tablets for our homes and business- both custom made to specs and reconditioned models. At work C-Tech also built and installed our security system. We've also had our share of repairs through the years- they will tell you honestly if it needs just to be wiped clean of viruses, memory added, or whatever. Estimate is free and I think its around $75 to have everything wiped clean, viruses removed etc so its like new- or they'll tell you if it's toast and you shouldnt bother. Two examples of why theyre so great: My client's techie husband passed away and she didnt know anything about computers. They went to her house and helped her get all of the info she needed from his computers. This was a huge huge help at a very difficult time for her. Another time I went in to buy a new laptop- I brought the old one in with me to be recycled- and Mohammed asked if I could wait a couple days for them to check out the old one. Sure enough he called me and said they could revive it- saving me hundreds of dollars. That's honesty. read more

I came in here with my laptop the other week with a request to replace the keyboard. I got a call a week and half later, saying the keyboard was replaced but the motherboard no longer worked, that my computer would be in a box because it was "pointless" to put back together. Muhammad had no idea how it broke, just that it would no longer turn on. When I looked in the box the keyboard hadn't even been replaced! It was the same laptop that I had brought in, but now in pieces and no longer working. I urge you to never give this man business unless you want a complete mess and broken laptop/computer. This is seriously the worst service I have ever experienced in my life, the only thing he did was take my laptop apart and he somehow managed to break it. Mohammad has repaired by computers many times over the years. They have a professional staff and the prices are better than average. I have had them build me computer set ups from scratch and was thrilled with the results. I explained what I needed the PC to do and he gave me a pick list of what I could have and priced out all the options. They also sell refurbished laptops and devices and we have been very happy with the products. It is very busy on a Saturday so if that is the only day you can go, get there when they open. read more

Took a couple of computer there. And they were quick and reasonably cheap. Best buys wanted to charge me nearly 200 for a hard drive for a PC that was only 2 yrs old. This place charged me 110 with labor. Second PC needed a monitor and they charged me only for the monitor since it cost 200 anyway. No tax and labor. But something tells me it was in the cost to a certain extent. They have for sale new and used desk and lap top computers. The sale monitors for very reasonable prices. I am going to pick up a Ipad there. The have very nice ones that are different from Apples- like many people have. I like different. lol read more

I cannot say enough great things about this store/company. For the past 10 years or so, I have been taking my computers - both desktop and laptops there for refreshing, repair and maintenance and I always receive excellent, first class service. It is better than going to any of the chain places because I receive personalized care and I can ask questions and know that I will get knowledgable answers and all of that at comparable prices. I have also purchased several of my computers from there and have bought computers for gifts, from there and that same service is extended to the customers that I refer there. Do yourself a favor and just stop in one day. Meet and ask for Muhummad but all of the staff are on spot and efficient and a pleasure to do business with. This is my favorite store as I am a tech-head and sometimes need that extra few minutes to ask a few questions. I give this store five stars but I'd give it ten, if I could. Great service for a great price! Took advantage of the free diagnostic and took my laptop in for service. They recovered all my data on my crashed computer and now it's a lot faster and they did it for a third of the price some of the big box stores were charging. read more

My work computer wouldn't start and appeared to be a simple power supply issue. They took my tower right away and I didn't wait more than 10 minutes for the repair. Friendly, knowledgable and surprised to find out they've been at this location for 27 years. They must be doing something right. I should add I had a similar repair done at a different shop almost two years ago where they charged me almost twice as much as Crescent and didn't even fix the problem completely. read more
