I described the atmosphere in my neighborhood: People were distraught because Ghayhoumi planned to put a driveway into the property behind my house. Ray was selling the land for his brother Who was out of the state. Ghayoumi agreed to sell me the property. I gave him $1,000. When the closing date was set, Ghayoumi said I was to pay his closing costs. This was a deal breaker. I signed a termination contract. Ghayoumi refused to give me back my $1,000. At the end I was glad not to have any further Business with such a nickle and dimer.

But my wife was getting more and more excited about being a future home owner, and the past two years of renting started to bear the limitations and frustrations of not owning your own place. Most of his co-workers had already gone home, and we met in his office. It didn't take long for my fears to melt away. The meeting with Dustin was professional, and yet very friendly and caring. He could read we were new to it all and provided the information and assistance we needed to feel comfortable. We decided to take the plunge and start looking at houses. This is where the 5 stars comes into place, if I could give 10 stars I would. Dustin never gave the impression that we were a paycheck to him, in fact he was a friend, he was a great help to us, and he stuck it through till the end. He was always available when we needed to communicate and he fought for us to get the best deals, even if it meant deals falling through. Our first house he told us about an inspector who was fairly priced and was very much attention to detail. This inspector saved us from buying a house that looked fine, but had extensive termite damage. Dustin continued to encourage us, after our "dream house" had a terrible report from the inspection. A month later we found a better house. One that needed a roof repair. The sellers were not great at communicating and yet Dustin fought to bridge the gap, on the end we were able to get them to replace the roof with no expense to us and we now live in a home we absolutely adore. If it wasn't for Dustin we would of possibly bought the first house and would be living in a money pit. Semonin's services were so helpful. We couldn't of done it without them.
