    Great team managing this building. Loved the gym and rooftop hot tub. Super walkable to nearby restaurants and the marina.

I am thoroughly enjoying my early retirement here at AMLI and feel like I'm at a secluded luxury vacation resort every day. I plan to make this my forever home after living in Beverly Hills and Bel-Air my entire life, AMLI wins hands down. One of the most impressive aspects of AMLI is the exceptional tenant care and genuine kindness from the spectacular staff who we fondly refer to as our AMLI FAMLI. Before I rave about my overall experience as a tenant, I would be remiss not to take a moment to recognize and express my sincere gratitude to the "entire" AMLI staff. My dedicated Leasing Agent, Christhel, always greets me with her bright joyful smile even on her worst day. She takes great pride in promptly satisfying me without fail and consistently goes above and beyond to exceed my expectations which has further enhanced my experience exponentially. I have also worked with Bridgette, Vanessa, Glenda, and Naja who are all very special and extremely helpful as well.   Last but certainly not least is Jeremy who oversees the complex and its nearly 600 apartment units. Jeremy is the captain of the ship and leads by example. For those of you who have managed your own homes, imagine managing nearly 600 apartment homes, not an easy job by any means. Jeremy tackles every issue utilizing his highly impressive problem-solving and managerial skills, always executing with superior professionalism and kindness. There is no shortage of fun adventurous activities at AMLI. A typical day for me includes a light breakfast and coffee on one of my two waterfront balconies, workout at our "Equinox-esque" three story Fitness Center, swim at one of our heated saltwater pools, hot tub, healthy lunch at The Hive on property, bike ride to the beach, my favorite out-of-body sunset sailing adventures, unwind on my balconies, culminating with a short stroll to one of my regular fine dining spots in the neighborhood. I no longer feel the need to take nearly as many vacations and have saved a tremendous amount of money as a result. If you are considering moving to the marina or anywhere on the westside for that matter, look no further. I thoroughly researched the entire westside and Marina del Rey marketplaces for years before I made my final decision to call AMLI my home. Do yourself a favor and schedule a no obligation tour with the leasing office today just in time for summer although year-round living is also pure heaven! Living on the water comes with a steady stream of questions, projects, paperwork, and the occasional surprise, and Chase somehow manages to stay on top of all of it. Whether it's helping navigate the online system, tracking down an answer, or jumping in to solve an issue, he's always incredibly responsive and genuinely helpful. What impresses me most is his follow-through. If Chase says he's going to look into something, he does. If he says he'll get back to you, he does. His attention to detail and organization are remarkable, and I suspect his military background has a lot to do with that. Nothing seems to fall through the cracks. What really sets him apart, though, is how much he cares. Even when he's off for the day or on vacation, he somehow finds a way to make sure residents are taken care of. That's rare. I've watched Waves evolve over the years, and Chase has played a huge role in taking the marina experience to another level. He brings professionalism, kindness, efficiency, and a level of customer service that makes life here noticeably better. Moving is always such a stressful time, and the Mirabella team made the transition a pleasant experience. I worked with both Brenden and Dawn in the leasing office and not only have they been extremely accessible, they are accommodating, kind, patient, friendly and communicative. I looked at 10 other MDR properties before choosing Mirabella. The rates are reasonable, the concessions are generous, move-in dates are flexible and overall, the property is in a prime location and very quiet. Cesar is the most friendly and helpful maintenance staff I've ever encountered. He works fast, is communicative, friendly and eager to help. I'm looking forward to my time here and making a home at Mirabella. Come and be my neighbor!

    Mirabella is hands down the worst place I have ever lived. Now that I have moved out, I feel safe…read moreenough to finally leave a review. I lived there for two years. First of all, the building itself is not safe. Despite the promise of "security" which we pay for, there is always homeless either right outside of the building or in the garage. One time, a homeless person was in my assigned parking spot. Another time, a homeless person broke into my car and stole stuff out of the glove box. As a female who lived alone there, I felt extremely unsafe. If you live at Mirabella, you can expect all of your packages to be stolen. The thieves have gone as far as breaking the door to the package room. More than once, they have taken everything in that room. More often than not, if I did not go grab a package immediately after it arrived, it would be stolen. I can't even tell you how many times I lost important packages. Because the carriers had proof of delivery, there was nothing I could do about it. Next, don't get me started on the cockroaches. There were at least five different occasions in which roaches were in my apartment. I believe the reason the cockroaches were a recurring problem in my unit is because it was next to the trash chute...a trash chute that was rarely properly cleaned. Management and maintenance did nothing about it. They said multiple times they would reach out to pest control but never did. Why? Because they aren't even on site. Management is at a different Essex property (Aqua) across the street. If you need anything, expect to be ignored both through phone and email. When it came time for my lease renewal, they never even signed it then attempted to charge me for their negligence when I moved out. Thankfully, I had receipts of my repeated attempts to contact them about signing my lease with no response, and they finally honored that and waived the exorbitant fees they tried to charge me. Speaking of cleaning, you can expect dog feces and urine to be everywhere. In the stairwells, in the halls, in the elevator, in the garage. You name it, it will be there. This property is extremely unsanitary. Also note that many of the 5 star reviews are from people whose location is Texas. To me, that's suspicious. Tl;dr -- Avoid Mirabella at all costs.
