The name C2 reminded me so much of the commercial tea drink, but when I tried this restaurant I knew it definitely has its own identity.
This is just the place to go in Shang if you find yourself craving for Filipino comfort food. Think the staples sinigang, lumpia, kare-kare, sisig, gising-gising, lechon, crispy pata, among others. They also have classic desserts like leche flan, turon, and bibingka. They have merienda staples too like pancit and sotanghon, and also halo-halo (though I believe this also definitely qualifies as dessert!).
My vegetarian friend and I ordered the lumpiang hubad, tasty and just a little sweet. The bangus belly is a winner, but I guess it always is in any Pinoy restaurant.
As this is a quite open restaurant where mallgoers can walk by in front of you while you eat, it is nice to eat here during the "non-rush" mall hours. It can get a bit distracting if there are many mallgoers passing by. read more
