She was actually very aggressive as a puppy, and we were hoping that it would eventually go away with training, but it never went away. She never temperament tested the dog and now we have the Callie at 12 months old and having to rehome her because She's completely insane. I don't know if it's from her poodle mothers or the dogs that she breeds these dogs with I don't know if she's a backyard breeder or what but this is very traumatic for our entire family having to re home home Callie . We spent a lot of money to get her flight nanny, etc. we never expected to have such a nightmare situation in a Dog !!! we were just hoping for a normal dog. I do not trust this lady. I was quite impressed with the testimonials given about Goldendoodles Utah that I found on the internet. Now I see why I saw so many positive remarks. First, let me say that their professional kennel is quite impressive. The whole family seems to pitch in. (Although mom is the professional Breeder) the facility was immaculate on a huge "doggy farm". You know, like the one you always heard about as a kid, upstate where your beloved pet went to go frolic with other dogs in a wide open doggy paradise....haha. But this one is actually real. They have all their Dams onsite and some if not all the Sires. It's anything but a puppy mill. This is a pro Breeder who is selective in who she sells to. You have to sign a contract, and in that contract you have to promise to never give your dog to a shelter for any reason, but to take them back to GU to be "rehomed". These dogs are the top of the top as far as health, intelligence, physicality and of course care. They see the vet more times before you take them home than most humans see the doctor in 10 years. They get shots, exams, dew claw removal hip assessment, you name it. This dedication to excellence has made her lines absolutely phenomenal. My puppy is incredibly smart. And of course gorgeous! They have you leave them something you have worn with your scent on it at selection day 2 weeks before you pick them up. So they are familiar with you before you get them. The Breeder who has interviewed you to find out what type of dog you are looking for as well as what your lifestyle is, introduces you to pups she thinks would be a great match. She knows their personalities as she socializes them closely before you get there. That requires her to know her pups. Of course you can choose whatever available pup you want to, but the Breeder gives a great recommendation. For us, it was perfection! That is why I am writing this review. I couldn't be more grateful. From the beginning of the process until you are driving home with your new family member, the process at Goldendoodles Utah is about the best one you could hope for. They even send you home with a blanket that mom and sibs slept on so they feel comfortable for the first few nights. It makes a difference. A big one. Based on the breeders direct feedback they noted the puppy "will be on the small side" which we wanted as we already have two other golden's. Well our dog is now 5 months old and over 15 pounds and still growing. We spent an additional $1k to receive a smaller dog to add to our family. Mini Doodle Dogs uses other breeders which they do not advertise on their site which is also misleading. We engaged them multiple times directly as we paid a higher cost for a micro and they continue to note "refer to the contract" regardless of how they promote the sizes on the companies site. We love our new puppy but wanted to highlight the companies lack of proper communication and helping to resolve poor advertising around the type of dog they are selling. I would hope this direct review creates additional dialogue around this issue
