Well our dog is now 5 months old and over 15 pounds and still growing. We spent an additional $1k to receive a smaller dog to add to our family. Mini Doodle Dogs uses other breeders which they do not advertise on their site which is also misleading. We engaged them multiple times directly as we paid a higher cost for a micro and they continue to note "refer to the contract" regardless of how they promote the sizes on the companies site. We love our new puppy but wanted to highlight the companies lack of proper communication and helping to resolve poor advertising around the type of dog they are selling. I would hope this direct review creates additional dialogue around this issue

I must say it was a coin toss getting her online vs buying a dog at a nearby breeder where I could meet the parents. She will be a standard size bernedoodle and we fell in love with her perfect color pattern on the images and one short video that was uploaded onto her folder in google drive. I'm glad to report that upon taking her to the vet when we received her all was found healthy. I also went on to do an embark test on her to see if it was true she came from healthy parents and if she actually was a full bernedoodle! The results were great! 50-50% of each standard size. she also came clear of any bad breed related genes of health issues she could get on the future! She only inherited 1 of all the other 200 and something genes that are tested in all dog breeds and it's nothing bad to worry about and she only has one. I did find one of her brothers from another litter got matched with her, contemplating on reaching out to them. And a lot of aunts and uncles on her Bernese mountain dog side of the family. I will though encourage my doodle crush to upscale your promotion of your puppies so it won't look too iffy. Add more pictures of the dogs with their mom and dad or a couple of videos in the stories or the folder u share, not just one or 3 fotos. I never did get my pic of her with her mom as I requested as a keepsake lol since I didn't meet the mom in person. That would of been nice! I really came to consider it could have been a scam! I also like how they don't force you into a contract to get them spayed or neutered and leave it up to you to do it whenever u feel the moment is right. Thankful I went with my gut on her! They have multiple rental houses where the hoard dogs and puppy's. They get a van of 20-70 puppies in one night and come multiple times a week. Many stories of the puppies arriving sick ands a lot dying. They knowingly sell sick puppies. And it goes on and on. This is a puppy mill through and through. They admitted to me in writing their breeder dogs never leave their kennels. They admitted to me in writing a Bernese that was in horrid condition found at the shelter was one of theirs. They won't let you meet the whole litter . They won't let you meet the parents . They pretend it's a small family breeder but hire staff, have a crm software to follow up with you and they rent out a house and hire staff to "take care of the puppies". The house is awful, the person showing the house isn't even the owners of my doodle crush but as soon as you leave the house they blow up for your phone pressuring you to buy the dog. They won't let you into the giant warehouse in the backyard to see the parents. Animal control is well aware of them and when they get called out to the house they tell them to "get a warrant" to see the dogs. They lie and manipulate, do your research, there is soooo many stories of sick and dying puppies. They have many posts on Facebook warning against them, there is a whole Instagram account, they are flagged with Humane Society and Breaking out Benji which is a group that tracks puppy mills. They even own a boarding facility called Poncos Barking Lot in PA which has allegations of starving and drugging dogs. People are reporting them left and right. This is a horrible horrible operation. You might get lucky with not a sick puppy but when you're breeding 100s of dogs a year of course you are going to get lucky here and there. And look at how many reviews they have,no ethical breeder breeds this many dogs. This is for profit only. Please do your research. Spread the word. I was quite impressed with the testimonials given about Goldendoodles Utah that I found on the internet. Now I see why I saw so many positive remarks. First, let me say that their professional kennel is quite impressive. The whole family seems to pitch in. (Although mom is the professional Breeder) the facility was immaculate on a huge "doggy farm". You know, like the one you always heard about as a kid, upstate where your beloved pet went to go frolic with other dogs in a wide open doggy paradise....haha. But this one is actually real. They have all their Dams onsite and some if not all the Sires. It's anything but a puppy mill. This is a pro Breeder who is selective in who she sells to. You have to sign a contract, and in that contract you have to promise to never give your dog to a shelter for any reason, but to take them back to GU to be "rehomed". These dogs are the top of the top as far as health, intelligence, physicality and of course care. They see the vet more times before you take them home than most humans see the doctor in 10 years. They get shots, exams, dew claw removal hip assessment, you name it. This dedication to excellence has made her lines absolutely phenomenal. My puppy is incredibly smart. And of course gorgeous! They have you leave them something you have worn with your scent on it at selection day 2 weeks before you pick them up. So they are familiar with you before you get them. The Breeder who has interviewed you to find out what type of dog you are looking for as well as what your lifestyle is, introduces you to pups she thinks would be a great match. She knows their personalities as she socializes them closely before you get there. That requires her to know her pups. Of course you can choose whatever available pup you want to, but the Breeder gives a great recommendation. For us, it was perfection! That is why I am writing this review. I couldn't be more grateful. From the beginning of the process until you are driving home with your new family member, the process at Goldendoodles Utah is about the best one you could hope for. They even send you home with a blanket that mom and sibs slept on so they feel comfortable for the first few nights. It makes a difference. A big one. If you are looking for the best Goldendoodles in Salt Lake City, or even if you are out of state, I couldn't say enough good things about this Goldendoodle family. As you can tell, I tried! Haha
