Fast forward to yesterday....I assumed my lawn was fried as they said so I went to clean out the dead grass in order to properly add seed only to find my yard is infested with grubs. You know, the grubs that were supposed to be killed with the treatment I've paid for over the last few years with Mission Green. After losing half my lawn and being completely devastated at the loss of money with nothing to show, I figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt to fix it and standby their word. Only the joke was on me. They are only willing to treat and seed the areas if I rejoin them for the remainder of the year. So, continue to pay for a service that is not done properly or with the quality (proper products) they should be using. I wish I could say I was surprised by their lack of accountability but I'm not. If you want to throw your money away, cause more work for the DPW guys, Mission Green is the right choice. If you want a great looking lawn and a company who stands by their work, it's not them.

I first contacted the residential division to help with a two acre lawn of my second home that was overtaken by weeds. They gave me a quick quote via satellite, but I'd told them the lawn didn't look the same anymore. I continued my search, but their reps wouldn't stop calling me! It was worst than a bad, blind date who couldn't take social cues that you just weren't interested!! Then, I got a recommendation from my irrigation company to call Trugreen's commercial division. My property is 10,000 s/f with a 2 acre manicured lawn and landscaping, so I was able to seek their services. I was hesitant at first, but decided to give it a try. I work with Joe Wood, who has been extremely responsive, very patiently responding to all my questions. They did a total kill over 2 acres, and then fertilized it; then put seeds down (oh..after removing all of the woody weed stumps). The grass grew back within 2 weeks of seeding, but there were some light spots. I didn't mind them because I figured they would grow in time, but Trugreen came and reseeded those areas with their tractor again. They are Tru-perfectionists! Overall, I've been very pleased with their customer services and skills. I would definitely recommend their commercial division. Not sure if you would qualify, but doesn't hurt to ask.
