But it was only to check a tire leak which they plugged 3mo ago. Gustavo assigned the job to a mechanic who couldn't find the issue. They told me there's no issue with the tire. So I mentioned to them that I've been filling the tire with air for the past week so I know there's something wrong. Gustavo proceeded to argue with me and claim that there's nothing wrong with the tire and that I should check it myself (I don't have to check it bc I fill it with air every morning!) After 15min of arguing I decided to leave and take the car elsewhere. The other garage I used found the leak immediately where Broadway Automotive originally plugged the tire. The garage I used showed me the issue before I approved the work needed to fix the leak. This experience tells me that Broadway Automotive is not capable of finding a leak on a tire that they originally plugged a few months prior. If they can't fix a tire, how are they qualified to fix other car related issues? He picked up my Jeep, worked at it for 5 hours, battled with shoddy work left over from the prior owner, kept me in the loop all the while, and then dropped it off for me. Service like this is rare.
