After many walks near by this place (which played good music) i decided to check it out with my partner for dinner. We were surprised to see the various selections of vegan desserts as well as beverages inside. I ordered the fried chicken with Mac & cheese, collard greens & a cornbread. Very impressed that my whole meal was vegan yet tasted So good!! My partner got the candied yams and said they were pretty solid. Of course we had to try one of their desserts so we ordered the carrot cake (everything to go) and it was a tad bit dry but if it had a bit more moisture it would've been a hit. I finally made it after hearing great reviews about the food and owner. The food and service was amazing. As soon as I walked in I was welcomed in with a big smile. The place was beautiful and very clean. I ordered the popular crispy chik'n meal with a side of black eyed peas to go. My first bite were the peas!!!! I could have just ordered those for my meal, they were so good. The chik'n was seasoned well which I was not expecting. Felt like somebody grandma was in the kitchen. The yams a made sure to eat last because man oh man they deserved their own moment of silence. The Mac was good a little spicy but still good. From conch fritters that leave you thinking that you can't believe there is no conch in there. A burger that is pure bomb. Like truly one of the best burgers I've had and there's no meat? What?! The person helping me with my order was very nice and helpful with explaining the menu. Once I grabbed my food to go, I went back to my car and took the first bite, and it was amazing. I really wanted to love this place. I ended up in the area by mistake, was hungry, and tried this place. I ordered a plate with the mushrooms , broccoli, kale salad, and peas. I'll give it two stars for the kale salad that is indeed yummy. The broccoli was tender and fine, but the mushroom were unexpectedly somewhat gross. Why deep fry? I had to remove most of the breading and half of that was gone. I spent $25 for lunch, had to remove the deep fried breading, only to go home somewhat still hungry. Very disappointed. Yum! This vegan comfort food joint nails it! I love that they offer options for every time of day and that everything is plant based. I was there over lunch so I opted for one of the wraps, and it was hot, fresh, delicious, and filling. I was mildly distracted by the pool of grease left behind in the container it was delivered in, but I can't complain because I did ask for the chicken to be crispy rather than grilled. I was laid up at home and I decided to order myself some DoorDash... I saw c4eats on the app and I had been wanting to give them a second try for quite a while... My first try was when they first opened over a year ago...maybe more. Back then I went in person and ordered at their counter. It took over an hour to have my burger and fries prepared and while in the process the fryer broke down... and I didn't get the fries at all. I figured they just needed some time to get their bearings. This time around I skipped on the burger but I went for the conch fritters and the fried oyster mushrooms and fries. I purchased 2 meals on February 2, 2026. One of the meals had Brussel sprouts that were burnt. I looked at the Brussel sprouts and told the man at the register they looked burnt. I asked for a fresh side of Brussel sprouts and was told that is how it is prepared. When I called earlier to place my order I had already paid for the meals. . When I took the meals home my Aunt said the Brussel sprouts tasted burnt and the fried mushroom had too much flour. This was ordered for her birthday and she did not enjoy her birthday meal. They have lost a customer . I went to C4eats because they are across the street from my baker where I went to pick up my Aunt's birthday cake. This is a friendly reminder that C4eats on 2003 Harrison Street in Hollywood, is the BOMB! The food at C4eats never disappoints me, and they really are one of my favorite places to go for vegan comfort food. I normally always get the soul food platters and mix and match the sides (which is always geat) but on this day, I decided to shake it up a bit... We started with an order of the the chick'n and waffles, and at first were disappointed to find out the waffle maker was broken, and they had to substitute pancakes, which was not a dealbreaker at all, and not only was it incredible tasting, the portions were HUGE as it gave us 4 chick'n cutlets and 4 pancakes. The cutlets were seasoned to perfection and pancakes weee so good, we didn't miss the waffles one bit, toss in a little syrup and hot sauce and this was an amazing dish. Order and share it with a friend! It was hard to pass up these Bomb Fries aka Loaded Fries. Loaded up with vegan cheese, bomb sauce, soy free steak and veggies poured over fries, it was so delicious and there was not a single morsel left in the box. I do recommend eating it with a fork, and sharing with a friend and this portion is also huge! I'm indifferent about this place... let's chat. I ordered their $20 vegan chicken dinner for pick up and when I arrived it was ready to go ! Loved that. Staff were very friendly. And the location is very cute inside with small area to sit. It came with a hefty serving of rice, crispy vegan chicken, mac and cheese, and candied yams. I didn't want to pay an extra $1 for sauce, but noticed they gave me a surprise hot sauce in the bag and also a surprise cornbread ! Overall... Everything was okay - I think the rice was instant rice which I wasn't a fan of, especially if I'm spending $20. The Mac and cheese had good flavor, but a little too mushy. The candied yams were very cinnamon-y, which I liked but also just too mushy for me. The cornbread was too corny - not sweet enough ? I did like it tho. And finally... that star of the show ..The chicken ! It was probably the best part as the texture was spot on. It wasn't super crispy anymore when I ate it but still enjoyed it the most. And dipped in the hot sauce made it even better ! As someone who's tried vegan comfort food at all corners of this country ... I personally wouldn't come back here unless there was no other option ... i was staying in the area and there really wasn't much else for comfort food ! Wow, I had a really good vegan burger here but the cakes are out of this world. While waiting for our food to come out, my wife ordered one of the red velvet slices and we couldn't wait to eat it so we had some of that first. After eating our entrees, we tried a different slice of cake. Both delicious!! This is definitely a great vegan spot. The food took a little while to come out and there's only a small high top bar area to sit inside but as long as it's not busy, it's fine. When I arrived there was a slight mishap because of the description from online letting and the store item but the cook and host took care of it in less than 5 to 10 minutes. I was amazed by their swift recovery especially because it was around lunchtime which is normally very busy. There were customers seated inside and outside eating or waiting for their meals. Staff were welcoming and so helpful at helping us make our decision because it all looked and smelled so good... So I really wanted to like this place, however, they fell short in so many ways. I am a lover of vegan food, however, almost everything on the menu is processed or "beyond". We ordered the swoll vegan burger. Decent. Literally 3 pieces of shredded lettuce, old soggy tomato and hard bun. Also had the spicy chick'n sandwich. That had the same 3 pieces of sad lettuces strings and an old tomato, on a hard bun. The breading was so soggy that it literally began dissolving into the bread when you bit into it. Not remotely crisp. We wanted to sub a vegetable for the side of fries.. But there were none. Also, the side of fries isn't a side. It's actually an additional $6.50 charge. So the cashier slipped an additional $13 on top of our 2 sandwich meal with no drinks, bringing our order to a total of $49 When I asked her about the "side" she says "oh they don't actually come with the sandwich they are extra". We get the potatoes and they are old, rubbery and grey like they had been rewarmed 5 days in a row. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Save your time and taste buds. read more

The fish breakfast was crunchy and juicy because it was fresh and hot. The grits soaked up the flavor from the fish. The "eggs" was great. Tasted like tofu but I am not sure what they use to make it but either, the flavor was there. The potatoes were slightly over seasoned for me or maybe there was just so much savoriness on the plate that I wanted a hint of sweetness for balance but speaking of which, I ordered their chocolate cake. I loved the crunch of the shavings on the outside but the cake itself wasn't the best. It wasn't dry, if anything, it was overly moist but I would suggest they come out with other flavors.
