This is hands down my favorite place for the past 6 years. Dennis is my go to person for vibe checking new people into my life, the perfect place to stop after work, relatively quick meals, delicious raw vegan dishes, their chocolate is to die for, I love the library, the open mic and the reading nook - all while enjoying a cup of tea. If you have a first date, need somewhere to relax after work or on a lunch break, to causally dabble in some Spirtual books while sipping on some tea, or to over indulge in desserts without feeling bad about it- this is the place!!! Also, it's perfect for chilling out with friends if you can't decide where to go, there's always a deep, insightful and heartfelt conversation to be had here. Also, I've ordered almost everything on the menu, there's really no bad choice. The massage kale salad with Chai Tea is my favorite. Also, the sushi is delicious with the Mock Tuna. Do not pass up the chance to be here!!

I went to Zen Mystery for the first time last night. I initially went for their monthly open mic but ended up staying for the ambiance. It has a really relaxed feel with a beautiful crystal collection and community style tables so you can meet and chat with new people. I ended up having a three hour long conversation with an interesting person I met there. I ordered two glasses of red wine, a salad, and the delicious coconut cream pie for dessert. The pie was my favorite part! It was so tasty and homemade! If you're looking for a healthy vegan cafe with good energy then this is the place for you :)

Ok I like this place. It's a chill spot. It's a little place. They serve vegan light dishes. That look good. They have dessert too. I did not try there food I came for something else. My friend had tea. They have a good amount of tea choices here. They also had beers. I can't remember what he had. I remember that it was good. I enjoyed it. This place is the type of place that poets, musicians or comedians can show there talents. There is a room next door where you can participate or listen to live entertainment.

It was busy at counter when I walked in yet I was offered a menu promptly while Denis was helping the people in front of me. He suggested a pie if I was having desert...def a great vibe... tried the live tai and some pie which was all top notch. loved the cultural center aspect. As a creator and artist it's nice to find places for expression of one's self. Open mic, reiki circles, live music, comedy night, etc... Eclectic AF.... Found all the old timers at this open mic and look forward to going back for some jams with the Fam.

I'm so happy I finally caught this place open! My mom literally lives down the street but I've always had such a hard time making it here with the limited hours, which have become even more limited as of late due to the state of the world. I was sure to call before we came in to confirm the hours. The restaurant is run and operated by the owner himself these days and he's the most friendly guy I've met in a while. I made it in for lunch with my mom yesterday and I came with a hungry belly. We decided to split the Buddha Burger on a Community Bowl and the Bento Box so we could try a little bit of everything. When we walked in, we were greeted by the owner who let us know we could order at the counter or choose a table as he handed me a menu (which I'd already gawked at online). We chose a table and sat in the back but decided to take a look around. I grabbed some fresh Kombucha that was in the cooler and went back to the table. A few minutes later he came to take our orders. I was amazed that he could remember everything I ordered because the Bento Box is a 'pick 5' type of thing; when it's your place, you know your stuff though! We waited patiently for our entrees as a few other patrons came in to place orders. I was happy to see that the business is doing well. He socialized with a few of them as he prepared our food then came to bring us a nice hot plate with the burger (and community rice) and a nice cold plate with all the yummy sides. I found the price quite reasonable for all the portions you get. I also like how the utensils and plates are all biodegradable. Between my mom and I we definitely weren't able to finish all the food but I gave it a good try and I'm glad we got to taste it all! The hot plate was delicious and the cold plate was just as good. When he came to check on us, he asked us what our favorite was and we both agreed the Live Pad Thai was the best. While not divulging his secrets, he gladly explained how some of the items were made. Everything was so fresh and healthy. I did happen to have some room left for dessert because that Raw Coconut Cream Pie was calling my name! My mom and I shared it and I had to stop myself from scarfing it down, allowing her to enjoy it too! Again, delicious. As we were leaving, the owner chatted with us a bit which gave us time to buy some of the Raw Chocolate Bark that is made by a local chocolatier. That stuff is addicting! Overall, we had a great experience and I will be making it a point to return often. Thanks for the great food and the great service, that's been a rarity these days!

The Copper Tones headlined at Zen Mystery for a charity concert, so we had to go! It had been over 4 months since we had seen the play in Isla Morada so we were looking forward it! After suffering through the starter band, which we were very glad finished, the Copper Tones stole the show. They were paying all new original music and played about 10-12 songs over an hour. Stephanie's vocal range is dynamic, Dyllan has a softer smokey voice and adds to the entertainment value with his comical nature. Andy on drums and Dany on guitar bring together a tight ensemble. During all of this great music we enjoyed some of the fresh Kombutcha, tea (the green tea and regular chai) as well as their Bento Box. Zen Mystery's bento box included 6 small plates designed based on our requested choice of 50% cooked ingredients vs greens, 100% vegetarian. After sampling the bento box, we ordered a couple of each of their blondie and fudge coconut covered balls which were a mixture of raisins, chocolate and nuts which paired well with the tea. Zen Mystery will make your order to go or you can have a seat inside. This cafe also opens up for Yoga sessions and has merchandise such as t-shirts and local jewelry for sale.

hummus with chips and a smoothie for me and my mom had tea all yummy with a relaxing environment

I absolutely love this place!! i found it by chance when trying to find a nice spot to go and have a bite. I've never tried a vegan place and let me tell you it was worth it! The menu was exciting, creative and delicious all at the same time. Currently thinking of when i should go for my THIRD visit. and yes i'm bringing everyone i know here.

Try the sampler! They have tuna-free tuna! They sell locally sourced komboucha and vegan ice cream... serve in a glass saucer. Everyone- patrons and personnel have such a friendly vibe. This food almost makes ppl peaceful. The spoons are wooden, the plates are biodegrable, and live music! Portion sizes are okay, but could be better. As an added bonus they have a unique selection of books .. including the one pictured. The gift shop's a nice touch, although I didnt care to buy from it. If you have 15 or so to spend, this is worth it.

The Zen mystery was great! I went on my lunch break and it was a much needed refresher! With its laid back atmosphere and positive happy servers, you're bound to how an enjoyable experience! The food is great for healthy folks/vegetarians/vegans We had the hummus with chips and the burger. You can come here, relax, play board games, meditate or just eat fresh food! The even have meditation classes that are donation only! Food- 10/10 Presentation 10/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 Menu selection 8/10 Price: $$
