The unpleasant surprise came when she was getting ready to apply nail polish, but some of my nails were not cut properly to the point that it would've made a whole in socks. I politely asked to address it when I noticed that the rest of the nails were hardly cleaned and cuticles still there. I asked if she is planning on cleaning the nails and remove the cuticles properly. The answer was no as I selected the express service which means 20 minutes. I attached the description of the express service- nowhere it says 20 minutes or the fact that job will be half way done. I questioned the price to value ration since $40 for 20 min means $120/hour and I know college graduates and nurses who don't make $120/h. When I checked out, I was told that if I pay with card is $4 more. This is another way to make money as the card fee is 3% for in person charge which is $1.2. I paid cash, but have not received a receipt. The disappointment was doubled when I learned that she was the owner of the nail salon.

Their massage chairs worked wonderfully and I could program my own neck/back massage while my pedicure was in process. My pedicure lasted an hour as promised ~ salt scrub, foot mask, hot towels, hot stones, massage oil, lotion, trimming of nails/cuticles then the polish. Anna was professional, kind, and adept at all the treatments. The salon was busy (good sign that it is popular) but I never felt rushed.
