I spoke to someone whom I thought was the manager, Kenny, but he turned out to be the GM and the Manager was Eddie. I asked them if they had their staff train at Disney University. My visits here are only occasional but I'll be visiting much more frequently now. I loved the new rustic potato soup and it's now my new 'go to' soup (although the Autumn Squash is also addictive). And Publix has the balls to charge $9.99 for this tasteless slop. Oh, and the two 'sides' were so small they wouldn't fill up a squirrel, and, it too (rice was only option to mac-n-cheese) had ZERO flavor. WAY overpriced, WAYYY overcooked, TASTE LIKE SHIT! Publix, you should be ashamed!! Any Deli manager who allows that garbage to be sold to the public should be fired. End result, I had to throw this excuse for a 'meal' in the garbage.. $10 right in the trash.. and had to settle for a whole grain granola bar as my meal. And yes, I will NEVER buy any 'meals' from that Publix again; neither should you. HORRIBLE!

Today is my birthday so my darling wife went early to get me a Poke Bowl. They usually have some premade but today didn't have any. The woman working the counter said she would make one for her so my wife ordered 2, one tuna and one tuna and salmon (after all, it's my birthday). I was excited about this as I was going to get not one, but two of my favorite sushi dishes... but my excitement waned when I saw them. it was very obvious that these were made by a different person than the person who made my last dozen or so bowls. I kept up my hopes but I quickly realized that these were made very differently. Not just their appearance but these were mostly rice and the kicker was that they have about a quarter of the sushi. This was very disappointing. Happy Birthday to me, but not at Publix. Bottom line, we'll be much more aware before wasting our hard earned money on at best, mediocre sushi.
