"Cabalen" is a Kapampangan word that translates to "kababayan" (countryman), "kabaryo" (townmate), or "friend" in Tagalog, often referring to a fellow Kapampangan. It signifies a close relationship, unity, and shared culture, commonly used to address people from Pampanga, particularly in the context of the popular Cabalen restaurant chain."
"Never thought!" is my statement for this all you can eat Filipino restaurant. I never expected it to be good. Came on a whim as we were walking in the mall in search of a Filipino restaurant. Dishes highlighted several popular dishes. Authenticity was what made my 5 star rating. I really enjoyed the spread and the way it's cooked and presented.
The only thing that they could improve on is putting dishes on warmers to keep them warm. However, they'll gladly heat your food upon request.
