I have coming for about the last 10 years plus. They always do an excellent job cutting my hair. I always get a razor trim and la razor line. After you have been coming here , they know exactly how to cut your hair. This is family owned and operated. It's full service, including beard trimming. Not that I need one. Never coming back here again. Had to wait over an hour just for the nothing... so I come in while everyone was busy as I wait for about 30 minutes then I thought I was going to be next but then someone that was supposedly waiting outside got helped first so I waited for that barber for other 30 minutes because I love the way they cut it the last time I was there. And as the 4 other people that were there being helped by other barbers that got there after me then as she's finishing the customer up she completely disregarded me and helps someone that got there after me. Literally after acknowledging when I got the first chance to get my hair cut. So after waiting over an hour I walked out with nothing but disappointment. There's no customer care when it comes to the service here, they don't care whoever is next because they are getting paid regardless. read more

I've been coming here for about a year, as my old Barber Shop of 10+ years (Bar Salon on Lennox Ave) has turned into an absolute craphole with workers and owners that are rude as can be. Caballero Barber Shop is amazing. I believe the owner's name is Eddy. He's the coolest guy in the world. I came in at 8:40 pm last night as they were finishing their last customers. I didn't know their actual closing time was 8 pm. Eddy told me they're closed and could i come back tomorrow. I said I can't as I have a real important work event in the morning and really need to get a haircut tonight. Eddy then offered to personally cut my hair right then and there. What a super cool thing to do. I've had about 5 haircuts here and they've all been great. Highly recommended! read more

Super nice folks, and they always have done great work. Full disclosure: As you can see from the pic, I'm balding, so I'm an easy customer. But I've observed a lot of the other work they've done while I was in the chair, and it all looks terrific. Nice razor trim around the edge, and I always come out looking way better than when I came in. That's the point, right? I went to the second guy as soon as you walk in. I believe they call him "morro" or so. Came here after years of not coming. When I walked in no I'm greeted me it felt really awkward. About 15 minutes after someone walked in and they were greeted I guess they were a regular client for some good time. Mind you this place used to cut real good hair but I was really upset about my haircut. Asked for a 5 on top, mid taper, and line up. Let's talk about the taper first, he passed a half guard up to a 1 1/2 like if it was a fade I didn't ask for a fade lol. Second of all I asked for a mid, the taper literally is a low with no baldness fading into the taper. Third of all those taper lines that form the back taper are literally no where to be found! It is not sharp it's like if he just cleaned it up and said let's go. Now my line up, he passed a #1 guard on my line up and was flicking it lol my hair doesn't have to be passed with a smaller guard to be lined up. I said fuck it it's prolly the way he lines up ok, actual line up part from the right side was smooth I liked it but the left side he was on for sometime I kept on thinking to myself damn he pushed me back and is trying to fix it. Boooom 1/4 of an inch of my line up was pushed back now I have to walk in public with a fucked up ass line up thanks bro! read more

I know there's a lot of cheap places out there but if you need a real hair cut you should visit Caballeros Barbershop you're gonna love their (fades) & (Tapers) specially if you let the owner cut your hair or the guy right next to him I guarantee you're not gonna be disappointed, They take their time but it's worth it. If you tell them exactly what you want trust me they're gonna do a great job, if you ever visit them I recommend you to go during the week these guys are so good that on the weekends it gets so freaking crowded. :) read more

Yeah, this is most likely the last time my boyfriend and I are ever going to be here. My dad and brother frequent here but I do not see why. Three other men had been there earlier before my boyfriend took a seat, and their haircuts were the furthest from even or neat. They had knicks in certain areas, the fading was uneven, etc. I have no clue why I had permitted my boyfriend to then sit down and be attended by a man who had more interest in a novela than paying attention to my boyfriend. I noted that, half way, certain parts of his hair were uneven. My boyfriend saw it and let the man know. Then a homeless man comes in with a black bag, talking to the man cutting my boyfriend's hair. They have a discussion while the barber becomes further distracted from completing a cut. I patiently wait and as I do, a female hair dresser comes in with three little girls and dumps them on a seat next to me. I do not care if children are near me but I despise when they have no civility and run around and scream like they are in the playground. The little girls are messing with the broom, playing with the hair on the floor, all the while the hair dresser begins to cut hair and gleefully converse with her guest. Finally, i've had it with the little girls running around when one of them grabs my purse and drops it the ground so she can scoot closer to me. (To the men reading, your girlfriends/special lady friends would lose their shit if its a $200 purse thrown on the dirty floor. To the women, its a BRAND NEW Dooney & Bourke purse!!) I picked up my purse and asked whose kids they were? I was super annoyed at this point. The guest then says the hair dresser is in charge of them, and I tell her to watch her kids and to have them respect other's property. She starts telling them in babying voices to not be near me in Spanish- which, Thank the lord, needed to be said earlier! All the while, my boyfriend is still displeased with the cut he was getting. He asked for it to be neater and had his sideburns balded by the man. Finally, after an hour of this deluded mess, my boyfriend has enough and he says that he will just pay the man and leave. It's loud! It's dirty! And $15 is not worth the visit to this despicable zoo called Caballeros Barber shop. read more

I have been bringing my son for the past two years and the service has been nothing but normal. Usually the lady in the fourth chair (don't know her name) and the barber in the first chair when you enter, have cut my son's hair. It was your usual fade with line up , no biggie. Until one day, my husband took our my son to get his usual hair cut. My son's hair was cut done by someone else. I don't know his name either, but he is the young guy at the second chair, when you come in. He was exceptional!!! He made my son's hair look so good, we got so many compliments on it! He takes his time, but is fast. He knows what he is doing. He is there on Saturdays after 2pm, but he has people waiting for him even before he gets there! He is that good! The reason of my one star is because of an incident that I had with the mexican lady in the fourth chair. My son and I get there and she is cutting someone's hair. No one else is waiting and she is the only one in the shop. Then after 15 minutes, a girl and her kid come in. The lady notices her and keeps on cutting hair. Once she is done, after 20 minutes, she calls the lady ahead of me. I of course, said excuse but we have been waiting for 30 minutes and we are ahead of them. She says, oh I thought you were waiting for the guy who usually cuts his hair. I say, well if i was, i believe i would of asked for him, but why would i ask for him if I am aware he comes in at 2pm and it is 10:30am....it is not logical to wait for him for over 3 hours. She looks at me and says oh well then I can cut your son's hair. I say, it is not necessary since you did not take the liberty of calling us first. The nerve! She was so rude and unprofessional. As I left, I could hear her saying something. I was going to back and ask her what the hell she was saying, but I decided not to because of my son and because she was even worth it. I have not been there since. If I decide to go, it will be for the guy who comes in at 2pm. But only for him and not that rude pathetic hair dresser, if she is even one, because I have never seen her license posted any where around her station. 5 stars. I created a yelp account just to write a review. Im on vacation but was in need for a line up. This was the closest place from the airport and glad I came here. A little hesitant at first but once the razor was pulled out I had a good feeling on the outcome. I can't stop looking in the mirror on how good the it was executed. The cost was unbelievable inexpensive for the amazing cut so I felt to pay them double the actual total. PS the barber was a female. read more

There are a few people here that do a great job with haircuts. But for the past few visits I keep getting this guy at the end that manages the register. He does a horrible job. Your hair will be uneven and can't cut in straight lines when he does the edges of your hair. I rather go to a different barber shop and pay more rather than come back again. read more
