Located in the Graduate Hotel, this is a great place for breakfast. The prices of food are higher then Big Bad Breakfast for less food but it is in a hotel and there is a better ambiance. The coffee here is fantastic though. Service is good- you order at the counter and they bring food to your table. The chicken biscuit was good but the $1.50 for cheese was a bit much being it was a very thin slice of cheese like you would get wrapped in plastic as a kid. read more

Excellent little breakfast spot inside the Graduate hotel. It is pretty much an order at the counter kind of place. The menu was diverse with lots of healthy options. We had the breakfast sandwich and açaí yogurt bowl. Two thumbs up! the place is not that big, so make sure someone can grab a table in your party while you stand in line. Although busy, we got our food probably within 7-8 minutes. Super cute decor, too! Would definitely eat here again. read more

Come on Oxford. This was one of the highest rated breakfast places? Remind me not to eat breakfast in Oxford anymore. Coffee, sure. But how can you mess eggs up? Food was soggy, biscuits were cooked the day before. Highly would not recommend. read more

All the locals told me all weekend that Big Bad Breakfast was without a doubt the best breakfast offering Oxford had to offer, but to my surprise I thought that Cabin 82 was actually quite a bit better having ordered virtually the exact same thing at both spots. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? Tacked onto The Graduate Hotel, Cabin 82 has a great vibe that gels with the rest of the hotels' decor. You've got plenty of comfortable seating, fast and friendly service, and they were open on New Year's Day. Star. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? I was genuinely taken aback that my Spicy Fried Chicken Biscuit Sandwich, fully equipped with a generous side of tater tots, came to only $6.00. Great value. Star. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? This was a good sandwich with some good tots. Thanks to some buffalo sauce, the Fried Chicken Biscuit Sandwich had some good kick to compliment a good cut of chicken and a nice flavorful sweet and buttery biscuit. Two Stars. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Cabin 82 is a solid option, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that I'd put it among my memorable breakfasts of the week, month, or year. Cabin 82 was pretty good. Cool vibe. We all had good breakfasts. I had eggs, bacon, and tater tots. Cortado was good, very hot. Parking is an issue - maps will take you to the back. The attendant was only allowing hotel guests, and was unaware of the restaurant. Also, the last menu here had much lower prices listed. It's bumped about 30%. read more

The atmosphere is very cute, but the food and service falls short. We waited 30 minutes for two plates of food and when it came it was pretty mediocre. I ordered avocado toast with an egg and they brought it out on a tiny plate with plastic silverware. My toast was hanging off the plate and I had to ask for another one. All in all it's a good spot for a leisurely bite if you're staying at the hotel, but it's nothing to write home about. read more

Updating my previous 3-star review. Ordered a café au lait and the biscuits and sausage gravy (which comes with poached eggs). My coffee is great and the food came out within 7 minutes of me ordering. My last visit left me waiting for a half hour for my food but I think that was because of how busy it was. Since I love to study at the Graduate Hotel and I frequent The Coop (their rooftop bar/restaurant), I'm happy that Cabin 82 is still up to standards. read more

Located inside the graduate hotel. The menu is basic but our food was delicious. The servings are large. My daughter and I could have easily shared and had leftovers. I had bacon, eggs and an English muffin. Everyone else had a breakfast platter with sausage and breakfast potatoes. Our food was served "to-go" bc they ran out of plates/utensils. Visiting from Georgia..strolled downstairs for breakfast and stumbled upon a Gem. Breakfast was delish..but lunch consisted of the spicy chicken biscuit and a side of fries. Excellent! Best chicken biscuit ive had and i eat out pretty regular for breakfast. I absolutely LOVE the hotel..but the food at this little hidden Gem..is worth coming back for a visit again. Im in LOVE. I wanted to like this place. Really. We waited until a visit to Oxford when it was quiet and planned lunch to try their menu. On their FB page (and Yelp) their hours are listed as open til 9 pm), so we didn't hesitate to drop in at 1:40. Big mistake. The front desk guy (who we asked about where the restaurant was located) said we were probably too late as they close at 2. *note - it's 1:40, but whatever. We chanced it and stuck our head in and meekly asked the counter guy if we could order "to go" (so they didn't have to hang around for us to finish - although there were several tables still eating) and was told, basically "Nope -too late, we have cleaned up for the day." Excuse me? Your hours are open until 9pm on your social media and even if you do close early - there's 20 minutes til you close. I've worked at a restaurant back "in the day" and know it's a pain if people come in the minute it closes - but this was not last minute and they had not posted closing hours anywhere online when they changed them. So... we left. Disappointed and super unimpressed with the customer service, but thanks to it being Oxford we found a great alternative with a better menu and stellar wait staff. Needless to say, we will not be back. (Also - I sent an email to the hotel to let them know the hours were wrong - a week later, still no reply - so there's that.) I'll do business with people who care about their customers 10/10 times... and not grace the doors of those that have no interest in serving their clientele. read more

I've been here a few times and I just love this place. It's a cozy place to grab a snack, have a coffee date, or study for a little while. They paid attention to the little things when designing this little cafe, and I appreciated the details from the beautiful espresso machine to the neo-retro soda case to the old fashioned cookbooks on the side tables. The food is reasonably priced for an establishment on the Square and their chicken sandwich and coffee are both solid. I would like to go back and try more of their food soon! Food service can be a little slow, but overall the staff are friendly and attentive. Try this place! read more

Unimpressive food topped off with exceptionally slow service. Ordered the hangover sandwich and the breakfast plate on a relatively slow Sunday morning- seemingly easy enough to handle. Wrong- breakfast plate came out 11 minutes after the sandwich. Pretty unacceptable considering how slow they were (but now I can see why they weren't that busy). Also, they put nitro cold brew on ice, kinda defeats the purpose of trying to enjoy nitro... I'll wait until 11 to go eat decent food anywhere else next time. read more

The food was really good and you get a lot for the price. The chicken fingers were amazing. My only complaint is the plastic cutlery - it's hard to eat a cheesy egg-white frittata with a plastic fork! The food is served on nice heavy plates so why not go ahead and use metal silverware? I wouldn't even mind eating out of a basket as long as I could use a real knife and fork. And a real mug would be nice too. Really cute decor with gingham covered vinyl chairs and vintage cookbooks strewn about. read more
