My coffee was made incorrectly and wasn't full and was not good. My avocado toast had balsamic vinegar on it, which I was unaware it was going to be added to the toast. Once I arrived there this morning, I felt like a kid with a new toy (okay, indulge me a little bit, please). I walked in and the vibe from this place was so inviting--the opposite of what coffee is supposed to do to you; calm and soothing. My barrister, I'll say "N" (forgot just that quick), was ready to take my order with a smile. There was such a large selection that I didn't know where to start. So, let me add that "N", this was the very first person who ASKED ME, " tell her what you like". My brain was like, " this does not compute." People don't take the time to ask these types of questions. She tailored my drink to my specifications, and it came out perfectly. For the sake of this review, I'll share what I had. However, let me warn you that my taste buds are not the same as yours. It was two shots of espresso (always) made like a latte but with a small shot of vanilla flavoring. Again, it was just right. Before there is any judgment, I am not one of those nitpicky coffee people. LAUGH... I look forward to hitting up this Coffee Bar again before leaving this area. Additionally, if you're in the area or live nearby, please stop by and enjoy the experience of this coffee house. I forgot to add that they have a drive through as well.

Such a cute little spot near the university and they have so many plant based and yummy healthy options as well as a full coffee bar. Service was quick even on a football Saturday, and I had the Acai bowl with peanut butter which was delicious. Great portion size too. The matcha was a little on the sweeter milky side but still delicious.

I loved the food, don't get me wrong but this definitely isn't a place I would go everyday for lunch unless I could afford it. And as a college student, I know I can't. As for the matcha matcha latte, it was a 3/10 for me. There were clumps of unmixed matcha powder at the bottom. My friend got the same latte and she had the same experience. So I would skip on this, not worth the 7 dollars in my opinion. Overall, I'm going back for the food when I can afford it!! It looks exactly like how it is pictured on Instagram and it's organic. Again, the food not the drink. The outside area was perfect for pictures and I truly felt like I was somewhere other than Mississippi. I loved it and plus the service was super fast. They brought the food out in a timely manner and I appreciated that.

Samoas ice cream. Just like the cookie, except without the random guilt trip from a little kid outside Walmart giving you the hard sell while you're trying to buy meal-prep chicken for the week. And yes, I realize I just compared buying ice cream to avoiding Girl Scouts. Stay focused. The ice cream here is just ridiculously good. Great flavors, great texture, and exactly what you want after dinner, before dinner, or honestly whenever you happen to be walking around the Square and decide calories don't count in Oxford. The Samoas flavor is the standout for me, but this is one of those places where you could probably order almost anything and be happy. Oxford has plenty of great places to eat, but every trip here should either start or end at Oxford Creamery. Preferably both.

The Oxford creamery is a quaint little spot that has an old school southern vibe. We saw My Big Fat Greek wedding as a menu item so we obviously had to go with a large order of that in a waffle cone bowl. My big fat Greek wedding was absolutely decadent and delicious. This item is an absolute must try, with pistachio and baklava and honey and vanilla ice cream, this treat is a 10/10. The Oxford creamery knocks it out of the park with this desert. An absolute delicious treat. Truly magnificent. Stop in to see the friendly staff and tray a tasty treat while you're there.

After 50 minutes, I inquired and miracles or miracles! A table was open! Yeah, ok. Nice table, nice server. We order juices--very nice--and my wife orders soup and sandwich and I order a veggie burger. About ten minutes later, they bring out a soup and sandwich and a turkey burger. I point out the error and they apologize to say that the replacement is coming urgently. Well, I sat there for ten minutes watching my wife eat and after mine came, she sat there watching me eat. Before anyone says it might have been a kitchen error, the server admitted to putting in the wrong dish. I go to pay, and the cashier (manager?) asks me how everything was, and I tell him. He essentially shrugs and says that Sundays are like that. No apology, no offer to comp a drink or even say that he hopes we still come back. He didn't seem at all bothered by our less than satisfactory experience. It's ok, though--Oxford has a ton of restaurants open on Sunday morning.
