We have remodeled out kitchen and asked them to do the countertops, and they exceeded our expectations. We liked working with them so much, we asked for their help a few years later for our fireplace project - and here again, they exceeded our expectations! We will definitely use their services on our future projects! They are absolutely the best and very easy to work with!

We did a feature build-out from the wall where an old fireplace had been and wanted to install an electric fireplace with a TV mount just above. We had the build-out done and then picked our granite, which was shiny black base with huge swirls of gold (titanium gold) . Gegham and Harut came out and measured and then had us visit their new shop right off the "41", very convenient. They showed us options for cuts that would feature the gold swirl pattern in a couple ways. We chose our cut options and now it's installed and amazing. The co-owners came out and did the install with great attention to detail, the bookmatching was perfect with the patern wrapping around the sides. The cuts for the TV and fireplace mounts preserved the maximum of the gold pattern on the visible granite, top, bottom and sides. It's just perfect and like with our kitchen work, the guys saved our left-over stone and have already suggested some ideas like a console table or new tops for nesting tables, etc. They did that with our kitchen quartz remainder also. Our living room is now awesome and the guys are easy and fun to work with. When you work with them you feel their confidence and it eases your anxiety about "what will this look like" because they've done it all many times before! We'll use them again for the next stone project for sure!

The shower backs to my hall wood floor....within a short time I noticed bumbles appearing in my wood floor and I contacted the floor person.....bumbles in the wood is water damage!! By means of attempting several solutions to no avail, we have to totally tear down and redo after only 3 1/2 yrs. We realized the leaking has to be an issue under the floor......The pan was put in wrong, so it drained out around it in one of the corners! The Cloud Nine owner, Gilbert, refused to assist when I wanted to find out who installed the glass doors as we were trying to attempt to have more reap holes drilled thinking that might help drainage! His response, was, it's no longer under warranty! You don't care about warranty when your trying to fix a leaking problem damaging your floor. The attitude of the owner was uncooperative. Their Installation was not done correctly and has had cost & headaches to try to fix! No stars from my experience with Cloud Nine Construction!

He provided valuable information about how we could determine our most cost effective option. He offered to consult with us later in order to compare various scenarios for the best result. He was generous with his time and expertise although it didn't necessarily guarantee immediate business for him. I recommend him without reservation!

Never again! Oh man! Where do I start?! Yes, I chose them because they were the cheapest- I guess I…read moregot what I paid for. Lesson learned! The owner initially started very good, we talked thru what we wanted, how we wanted it as we had a big job, kitchen, bar, desk and two custom sinks for two bathrooms. Some was in person conversation, some via text and some over the phone. After the first visit we no longer saw the owner if we weren't paying attention we would have ended up with an under mount sink when we requested top mount. Once we started pointing out our concerns over the phone- because remember we never saw him after the first day, he became unresponsive. We had talked about covering all the old surface because who wants to see where the prior tile was...he did not ensure this was done around the sink. We asked for custom bathroom Sinks.. two turned out ok the third is not what we requested and now we have two different types of sinks in the bathrooms. When we asked him to fix it, apparently there wasn't enough material- I asked him to return all unused portions and he returned a slab piece that is apx 2 ft x 5ft. I find it hard to believe there wasn't enough material. I think at this point he was just being vindictive in not giving us what we wanted. This job was done in two phases, first the kitchen and bar then the bathroom. We were told all could be done within 2 weeks. 4 weeks in and when near completion of the kitchen only he asked for full payment. We let him know we had no issue with making the full payment ( he has already been paid 50%) however we wanted to ensure the job was completed first. This fool pulled his men off the job. Wow! Whereas he has the ability for recourse by placing a lien on our house for the unpaid portion- we have zero recourse against him, other than to spend more money and take him to court. Again, he was told we would pay him the remaining balance for the kitchen portion as soon as the job was completed. During the job we would contact him to let him know that his workers were not doing things as per our discussion- because remember we only saw him once- he finally sent in another guy to take the lead. I appreciated this guy as I understood he was stepping in 1/2 way thru the job. Again we let him know what the plan was supposed to be but still throughout this conversation there were many details the owner did not pass on to the job foreman. In the midst of all this we were expecting family from out of the country. I had provided a drop dead date the job must be completed by. The kitchen portion only was completed the evening before my family was arriving. My family and I spent the entire night cleaning, organizing, painting, putting things back into the cupboards, installing the sinks and stove. I would NEVER recommend Aust to anyone. Cheaper is not always the way to go. Pay a little more and go with someone who is not going to disappear once they have the job and 50% of your money! I would rate them in the negative if that was an option. They are not worth the one star!

I then inquired with Dustin on my own to have the remnant quartz put in my bathroom. I got zero response. I messaged multiple times. I had to reach out to the designer from the previous job to get a response from him. Due to his lack of response and follow through, it took a year to get him to show up to measure the bathroom counter. While he was measuring, I mentioned my plan to possibly replace my bathroom mirror or build a frame around it to update the look. Before leaving, I asked him to please send me a quote for the job. I never got the quote. Three weeks later I get a text message that workers are showing up in 30 minutes to place my countertop. I didn't dispute the workers showing up because I just wanted my paid for countertop to be installed. Unfortunately, the workers broke the 84x48" mirror during the job and accidentally gouged the bathroom wall. In my codependent nature, I mistakenly told them "not to worry about it". But after looking up the replacement cost of the mirror, not including installation I reached out to Dustin. He offered a $300 price adjustment based off of his opinion on the replacement cost. He justified his lack of accountability by saying, "you were going to replace it anyway...". Since I could not find a replacement mirror for that price, I asked if he would purchase the mirror himself and have it installed, he refused. I offered multiple solutions all to which he refused. What he did do was accuse me of trying to get out of paying and threaten me with with litigation. He also threatened to charge me storage fees for my countertop, lol In my personal experience, Dustin Aust is very unprofessional. His workers however, are very hard-working and know what they're doing. I don't blame them for the accident, I blame their leader for not taking responsibility. Be very cautious when working with Dustin Aust. At the end of the story, I paid the invoice. The extra out-of-pocket expense is money well spent on a lesson learned.
