Our kitchen countertops and island were particularly complicated and they did a great job fabricating to take advantage of the full pattern of the granite - which showcases perfectly on the waterfall edge of our kitchen island. sheryl was so rude to speak to. i called to get a cracked fixed since they installed our counter tops that we spend thousands of dollars on and we noticed a crack months later and we made it best clear it had nothing to do with their installation and we simply wanted a repair. sheryl went on to say they didn't have time to come out just for a crack when they have other installations to do. as a business owner myself i would never say that. every customer should be treated the same no matter the job size. absolutely will not be recommending this place to anyone else. read more

It's been 8 years since our countertop installation. This company made two horrible cuts that are now splitting! We called and they blamed the cabinet installers. But the cabinet installers were not the ones who made horrible cuts!! I'm reminded of what a bad job they did ever that I'm in my kitchen. read more

I put a single star only because the the receptionist was very friendly when talking to her on the phone and in person (multiple times (5)). BUT I was assured that she had given all of my information (a lot of info) to the owner personally. It's been over 4 weeks and NEVER got a single call back and not because I did pursue them... not a "sorry we are swamped"... or "We can help there will just be a bit of a wait period due to... whatever"... nothing! I guess that they have so much business that didn't feel the need to call. So how ever many thousands of $$$ this was going to cost, they have lost my business (current and future), my respect and any my word of mouth recommendations. Recently my 86 year old Mother-in-law decided to swap out countertops throughout her kitchen to quartz. She shopped around and found Paragon to be by far the most understanding, explaining all and came in with a very good competitive price. Understand at that age, any job could potentially be difficult pleasing a customer, however, even with her hovering while the work was being done she is absolutely pleased. The owner personally spent an extra amount of time tracing back an issue that more than likely had nothing to do with their project. In one day they demoed and installed. The following day did final detail and clean up. They definitely went the extra mile and for someone who is extremely picky, these guys were just as. One of the more unorganized fabricators I've dealt with. We scheduled to have someone come out to give us a quote on a Friday. Turned out after having scheduled it, my wife got a call and they were unable to do it that day because they were too booked (that's why we scheduled it in the first place) - So that was a waste of a day having to take time off of work. What's worse, they called the day-of to advise us. We said fine, we'll give them another chance, (choose your battles, right?) We re-scheduled and made it for another Friday. They tried to do the same thing on the next Friday, but luckily they were able to "squeeze us in," lucky us. We finally got a quote for $3,250 for installation, and fabrication of our granite counters. The quote was very vague. It didn't advise sq. ft. of our counters, or the price per sq. ft... After conversing with their sales coordinators, and having to literally ask how they came up with that number, it turns out we were being charged for 59 sq. ft. of counter space, and at $50/sq ft. PLUS they charged us $350 for sink installation, and sink-hole cut outs. Additionally it would be $450 to demo any existing counters. So basically a total of $3700. Well, I questioned this because when Jeff from Paragron Granite came to our house, he didn't take any measurements, and said we'd have to install our sink by ourselves since it was a farmhouse sink, then they would come out and take exact measurements. So how they got 59 sq. ft. I have no idea? Jeff seemed like an experienced tradesman, though - so I'm sure he could tell. Jeff also knew off the top of his head which sink we would need since we wanted a farmhouse sink, and he knew the exact model that would fit with our current cabinets. What's frustrating is that this entire process was so unorganized, this company is saying I have to pay 50% down to start the project, but their price isn't even accurate... And not only that, they said they didn't know our sink was a farmhouse under-mount sink, AFTER they sent the quote, and after I questioned the "installation of the sink". Finally they said they do not install farmhouse sinks, however, the price would still be the same. Their response, "well, we only install regular sinks as a courtesy..." What the? At this point, i'm just beyond irritated with the customer service, lack of communication, and I have to say, I will not be taking my business to Paragon Granite. If they can't even get a quote right, and leave out important details, why in the heck would I trust them with the fine details? I told them, "you should really include this information in your quotes. It's misleading and frustrating to have to ask this stuff, which should be basic." Their reply - "Thank you for your suggestions. They are welcomed since perfection is not of this world." Geeeeez! read more

Paragon has now done fabrication and install on three rooms in our house. The first project they competed for us was counter top on a built in in our master bed room. It required a small odd shaped piece of granite. Penny suggested a remnant piece that matched our room perfectly. This saved us a lot of money. The second project we had was a bathroom counter. Penny suggested another perfect piece of granite for that room. The bathroom has tight access and the install team was able to install the counter top without scratching any of the walls. The last project was our kitchen counters. We found our granite from another seller. Paragon and the sell arranged for transportation. When we went for the layout consultation at Paragon, Jeff listened to our desire to make our kitchen island the focal point in the kitchen. He then adjusted the templates to bring out the most striking motion in the granite. When it was installed the team was the cleanest and most professional group that entered our house during the whole remodel. Paragon Granite did a fabulous job installing our Specchio White Quartz counter. Turn around time was 2 weeks. They were very professional and addressed all our concerns during and AFTER installation! Amy their sales coordinator always answered my questions promptly and was very accommodating. Jason is part of their team and was brilliant with troubleshooting problem areas during install. They weren't the least expensive nor the most expensive but they offered a fair price, we decided to go with them after multiple quotes . We had an issue with the installers chipping the slab during install, and applying a half-ass repair to it. When I called the owner, Jeff, I was met with a rude response that it was somehow my fault the slab was chipped during install, and that since I approved the install, there was nothing he could do. I asked how I had approved the install if I had called him immediately after seeing the sloppy repair, and he became very angry and rude. Additionally, the installers damaged the drywall on both sides of the vanity and leaned up trim pieces which caused more damage to the bathroom walls. I was impressed with the beautiful job that Paragon did installing Volga Blue granite on my kitchen and bathroom counters. I found them to be experts in their trade. The crew was very professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I had no problem with having this crew in my home. They did demo on the tile and installed the countertop and under mount sinks in one day. Came back a few days later to do the backsplash. They came on time when they said they would be here unlike some contractors that show up hours later than they said. I debated for two weeks now if I should write this review, but what happened still bothers me so I need to save other married couples the stress. Jeff came to my house 3 times for measurements and my husband was there with me twice. So he met my husband and saw my kids at the house. The third time he said he needed to double check a couple measurements so I agreed and he stopped by and as soon as Jeff (the owner by the way) left he started sending me inappropriate text messages. Which I still have as proof. Telling me I'm gorgeous and maybe in another life. And saying maybe he can think of an excuse to come see me tomorrow. Wtf! Not only is he married but he's old enough to be my dad. I was so disturbed he basically lied to come see me! Do not trust this man to come into your home! We reported him to the FTC and I spoke to another woman through the nextdoor app who had the exact same thing happen to her two years ago. So imagine how many times this has happened. Paragon Granite is an excellent granite supplier. For a custom bathroom installation we shopped Paragon's on hand granite supply and they had an inventory that had enough of a variety we found a suitable color/shade/style to meet the required design specs. Upon giving the sales personnel the design measurements and also able to review the specs with the actual shop workers the product came to exact measurements to within 1/32". Very impressive to come to such close tolerances. The cost was between mid to upper of the price range for granite but to me that is a plus to deal with a local supplier who is legal/licensed and provides the depth a long standing local business provides yet be small enough to have access to the office personnel and shop personnel who are the actual people doing the work. Outstanding experience all around. We worked directly with Jeff and he went the extra mile to ensure we were happy. Everyone from the installers to the office workers were extremely helpful and polite. I used to work as a general contractor so I'm familiar with what a quality job is.
