I would give 10 stars if i could for her and here is why. Claire came to our home for quotes PREPARED. She took time to hear us out on our needs. We have 4 month old and old carpet was just not good for us. However we still wanted floor to have some kind of sound proofing. On our first meeting she brought samples, talked to us about different options for floor types and presented her recommendation, really didn't push for any 'unnecessary' renovation for money. I had 4 other quotes (that 2 were cheaper) but decided to go with New home design because i felt like we can rely on her. And I am glad we did. they did fantastic job. they were so professional and me and my husband cannot be more satisfied. we are planning few more projects down the road and we'll definitely do it with Newhome Design Studio because they are relaible. They showed up when they said they would be there and cleaned up very well every day. From the start, Miguel was very communicative and extremely helpful. When I asked questions, he was very thorough with his answers and gave extra information with it, not just a simple answer. Based on our footprint, I thought my kitchen would stay pretty much the same, meaning same functionality and look but with new materials - cabinets, counters, backsplash. However, Miguel helped us with some customizations like an upper angled-front corner cabinet with glass front and a lazy susan bottom corner cabinet which both help with functionality and design. The way he built the cabinet out around the fridge makes it looks like a built-in fridge. We cut our island down from two levels to one and he trimmed it out to make it look like the shaker cabinets. He also helped figure out a nice-looking trim option for the bottom of the upper cabinets so we can't see the underside of them when we are sitting in our family room. Using an inspiration photo we provided, Miguel built us a custom hood cover for over the stove. All of this was brought to life by a 3-D rendering he put together. This was awesome to see as I am not a great visualizer. It helped me feel confident going into the project with the design we had. From demo day to the final day of cabinet installation and countertops was only 1 week. We were amazed with how fast it all came together. Miguel and his team really went above and beyond to give us the kitchen we were looking for in a such a quick turnaround. We even had some change orders throughout the process and they handled them professionally and efficiently. Miguel and his crew do it all including demo, cabinet, counter and tile installations, custom hoods, electrical, plumbing, and appliance installation.
