Cabinets R US came highly recommended by our contractor. He installed the white shaker. The doors look nice they are made out of solid wood. The rest of the cabinet is ply board with a thin layer of coating almost as thin as rice paper. It hasn't even been a week and the sides, bottom and the shelves have started to peel off. What started out as a promising affordable option for cabinetry turned out to be a nightmare. The saleswoman Louisse Hermawan was nice yet her crew was quite opposite. Gersom led the crew of 5 that appeared to all be related some how (Which I don't have a problem with) yet the work was rushed, and unprofessional. Unfortunately Louisse went on vacation at the time of our install at which I had to contact her many times through her superiors due to the issues. When I mean bad I mean, cracked cabinets, stripped screws, uneven lines, damaged areas filled with caulking no shows and confrontation. I will not be using or referring to anyone I know who has an expectation of decent work at minimum. (Showroom was nice though)! read more

We had a contractor install their cabinets. The cabinets are very cheaply made - basically similar grade to garage cabinets. Lots of plastic support connectors, thin plywood sides, and very noticeable seems between cabinet components. They are basically modular pieces that are spliced together to make a long kitchen or bathroom cabinet system. We regret not doing just a facelift/resurfacing using the original cabinet frames with new doors and drawers. It would have been about the same price and the end-product would have looked much better. read more
