(i.e. informing us there would be an oversized slab charge despite having our building plans and the sales person admitted to forgetting in our original order.) After multiple emails and requests to speak with the manager, we have been ignored while they continue to have more than $4,000 from our purchase. We spent 16K to replace all cabinets, counter tops, and sink in our kitchen. We worked with, Adam, to design the layout. At first, we were very happy and impressed with, Adam, and the options. Our cabinets were installed in July 2021 and there were several that were damaged and need to be replaced. We are STILL WAITING, and keep being told they are on back order. There is a year warranty to get everything right. I called the corporate customer service because the in store customer service SUCKS, more on that in a bit!! I asked what happens when our replacement parts do not come back in stock in that year time span, will we be stuck with damaged cabinets, to which he would not answer. The instore customer service actually contacted my husband and asked "do you still want/need these parts?" !! REALLY, we don't have them so YES we still need them!! I understand that supply chains have been bottled up but seriously, 7 months!!! It also took over 6 weeks to get our countertops installed. We were without our kitchen for 3 months, which means we had the additional expense of eating out or bringing food home, for THREE MONTHS. The company they use for countertops are terrible, when installing, they were having trouble fitting a piece in and told my husband, "we will have to cut into your wall"!! My husband told them "oh no you are not, you will have to re-cut the countertop!" We have been trying for over 7 months to get our cabinets fixed. I call the store and leave messages for, Adam, and don't get a return call!! Of course, they have been paid in full so now they could care less if we are stuck with damaged cabinets! I had hoped to use this company again to replace the floors in the living room, the floors in all the rooms upstairs in our home along with 2 more cabinets and countertops in the 2 bathrooms upstairs. But after this fiasco, I do not feel I can trust them so now I have to go on the hunt for a company that is better and more trustworthy. I will be consulting an attorney to see if we have any recourse to rectify this situation! I have had 4 people ask me who did my kitchen because it is so modern and beautiful and I refuse to recommend this company so I refuse to tell them. If you choose to use this company, I advise you to NOT PAY them in full until the job is actually completed properly and to your satisfaction!! read more

I had a great experience with Mary for the design of my kitchen. Install did not go well. Cabinets to go told me the guy who did measurements should've told me about outlets needing to be moved etc and installation company told me cabinets to go should have told me this information. Installation company said his guy just does measurements & does not know new layout design. I told him I showed guy new layout design and he told me I did not need to move outlets or do anything extra. Bryan, install company owner, told me his guy did not tell me this and basically called me a liar. He was rude. Finally got through install and they did not put the shoe moulding on. Paid over $8500 for kitchen cabinets in early September. The product is nice, designers very good and helpful. However, one cabinet was not delivered and I have been waiting over three weeks. Customer service is centralized, they said one would be coming but nothing has happened. I have initiated all conversations, no one bothered to tell me it was incomplete or what they intended to do about it. The Raleigh store has never contacted me. I feel that customer service is only afforded potential clients, once I paid I was not a priority. If you're working with multiple contractors dependent on following a schedule, this may not be the vendor for you. read more

They started out with a five star review from me. They (John) do have the awesome sense of personality to get you signed up. Once you sign the contract they treat you with little to no consideration. When I signed my contract everyone knew that my cabinets were to go to the ceiling. I had that conversation with John several times. It was intentionally left out to stay closer to my budget. Costing me a whopping $700 more to make my install happen. Then when I've waited two weeks and the installers arrive at my house they give you the big OOPS we forgot to add X Y & Z. John says he talked to his boss and his boss pretty much said the hell with me. I had reservations about coming to this store because of their horrific reviews. Reviews are there for a reason. Don't be me; listen to us and stay away from this store. Don't believe them when they say you're going to have a one day install either. As soon as the installer arrived I inquired about it and he giggled. Said it would be two days. I will update pending the quality of my install. Gave me several installation dates. Each time the parts were not in stock, but they told me they were. My kitchen was empty from July until October. No cooking and no cabinets, had to change from what we originally ordered and settled for what was in stocks just to get a kitchen. I would never ever recommend this company. Just a quick follow up post-installation... While the initial delivery did not go as planned (or assured) I am very happy with the cabinets. I had a semi-working kitchen by Thanksgiving and it was mostly complete by Christmas. There were a few damaged/missing pieces and Cabinets To Go's customer service department quickly, without questioning, sent the replacement parts as needed. I am very thankful for Adam's calming, caring, and knowledgeable managing of our order through the delivery/replacement aspect of our kitchen remodeling process. I can honestly say I am very happy with the quality of the cabinets and I finally have the dream kitchen I always wanted. read more

Ordered cabinets. Installed quickly but incorrectly drilled holes in wrong drawers and had to re-order. Waiting months. Now 8 months later the cabinets are peeling and their answer was normal wear and tear. How does that happen. Absolute best experience working with Adam and John at cabinets to go. Quality Rea wood shaker style cabinets for half the price of other big box stores, quick delivery! My cabinets arrived in less than a week !! I previously got a quote from Home Depot to reface the cabinets and the price for only refacing from Home Depot was thousands more than what I paid for all my brand new and awesome white shaker style cabinets here. The price is impossible to beat and they have 36 months of interest free financing. Adam and John were amazing to work with, great customer service!! I'm in love with these cabinets!! read more

Standing here as they cancel my order. After telling me they would be in (4000.00) order in three weeks they now cannot give me a better date than 2 to 3 weeks from now. Not such an issue with the delay as it is with the total lack of communication about the delivery delays. They do not respond to phone calls. They do not return calls. Hence I had to come to the store to find out about the delays. Completely unacceptable way to do business. You've lost a fan. We paid for cabinets in Oct 2020 and I still can't get an outside trim piece in Annapolis Blue until mid- to late February. The shoulder shrug from your sales associate didn't help. It's obvious that once you have my money you do not care one whit for the customer. So I've started agreeing with everyone that sees my cabinets that Yes, they are beautiful. But, I say, do not use Cabinets to Go. It'll be 4 months before you can finish your cabinets and their customer service is lacking. We received excellent service at Cabinets To Go-Raleigh. Amy and Adam are great to work with and Amy was especially helpful with us because we were constantly changing what we needed. Adam was always available to take our calls and answer any questions we had. Our only regret is we should have had their installers do the work instead of our builders because I'm sure they would have done a better job. I worked with a designer & came up with a design for the kitchen in Dec 2021. Scheduled a measure & the installer cancelled. The same day we were asked if we did our demo yet & wasn't told we had to do the demo. We were out shopping & Mary from the Raleigh store said on January 5 delivery was in our driveway & we didn't even have a measure yet to confirm the design. Some of the items were obviously damaged & Mary said that if we didn't accept delivery if there was more damage taking the cabinets back we would be responsible. The driver is responsible for the condition of what's delivered not me. We reluctantly accepted the delivery since Mary said anything damaged or not correct they would fix or replace. Another measure was scheduled & the installer cancelled again. Since we could not get a measure or customer service the designer spoke to corporate + gave us 3 options. Keep the cabinets & get our own installer, use Bryan & try another measure & have him do it since he was the only one who did long distance or return the cabinets with no charge or fees. After the installer did not show the third time for the measure he sends a local handyman here in Wilmington who didn't know how to measure & spoke with Bryan saying the cabinets didn't fit. Bryan said don't worry about it. Bryan said this handyman was an associate of his. The handyman said he never met Bryan, never worked for him & did not know him. We told the designer we will have to return the cabinets since the customer service was so bad & could not count on Bryan to install since we could not get him here to measure. They came here to pick up the cabinets that we never were called for delivery & a measure was not done by cabinets to go for confirmation before delivery. We were promised a full credit on our Wells Fargo charge & the amount is still in dispute. No one knows what the other is doing in this store & they don't communicate with corporate very well either. It's now the middle of April. Have no cabinets, no accurate measure nor was it done by long distance, they did no work in my home at all & they are still trying to charge me. I do not recommend using this store & I wish I didn't. To date Wells Fargo never was paid back for cabinets that have been returned but Wells Fargo paid cabinets to go once they delivered the cabinets. Still in dispute. This was the most stressful sale I ever had dealing with these people & still are dealing with their incompetence. read more

The customer service for ordering was excellent and most of our cabinets arrived in a reasonable time frame. However, the cabinet box construction was terrible and they all fell apart/the plastic hardware broke. At that point we didn't have time to source cabinets from elsewhere, so ended up having to rebuild/reinforce all the boxes. Fast forward 6 months and the final items we ordered finally arrived, including 1 glass door. We contacted the company and we're advised that despite the fact that all the other doors come in pairs, the glass doors come separately and we only ordered one base model door for $300. I wasn't happy about this since I ordered with the help of an associate and was advised this was for the pair of doors, plus no one would order a single door. the doors are not worth $600 (they weren't worth $300) so I requested to return and be reimbursed. I was advised that even though this was their error in advising me, that I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee. I would never order from this company again and highly recommend going elsewhere, the cost savings are not worth it. You will be disappointed and they clearly don't fix their mistakes. read more

This place is such a disappointment. We started this process on January the 31st and did not get the counter tops for more than a month. The wrong sink base was ordered, and so we had to wait more than a week on a re-order on that. So, with our kitchen completely dismantled we waited. Yesterday the installers came back, and the initial measurements were off. So now the kitchen is still not functional, and I am at a total loss of what to do. read more

Buy at your own risk! Great cabinets at affordable prices, but the customer service is horrendous. We were told on 4 different occasions (by Jason) that the dishwasher panel was ordered. Weeks and months (3) go by with no call (despite having been told 3 times he would follow up and keep me posted). I call a 4th time and finally get a return call. I am told (by Ted) that the panel wasn't ever ordered and that they're now gonna order it now. i don't know if these guys are stupid, understaffed, over-worked or just don't care. All i can tell you is that they are not trustworthy. Order from them b/c you love the cabinets and the prices, but be VERY cautious and diligent about receiving your order. PS My friend had a similar experience with them. She put in a $5000+ order only to have them "accidentally" cancel it. For realz! read more

We worked with Cabinets To Go to redo our kitchen. We created a design with their team that included a cutout for a beverage fridge. When the cabinets were installed, there was no cutout for a fridge. The necessary pieces were never even delivered. We called the office and were told that there was an "unexpected issue" and we were expected to pay an additional $800 in parts and labor to have them come fix their mistake. When we pointed out that it was their mistake and that there was no "unexpected issue" since the parts were never even ordered and nothing had changed since they took their measurements, the associate at the store was rude and unhelpful. He kept saying "I don't know what the issue is- it's a construction project. Just order a few more pieces." When we asked to speak to a manager, we were told the manager was on a break and couldn't speak to us. We were told a manager would call us back, but we never received a call. The cabinets themselves were great, as was the design. Great cabinets aren't worth much if they aren't installed or ordered correctly though. Every day that this goes on unresolved is another day we cannot use our kitchen. I cannot recommend this group to any other customers. read more

Spent almost 8,000 in cabinets in February and still haven't received all of them yet. We call and call and they promise it will be delivered, and so far, we are still waiting. They promise and never follow through. We've called a zillion times and are always told the same thing, it's being shipped and it never arrives. They say they will call us back and they never do. The cabinets look ok, but it was not the greatest experience putting them together and they scratch easily, so be careful with the dark ones, like the dark chocolate. This has been a very frustrating experience and next time, I would go with a more expensive cabinet and get much better customer service. I do not recommend them at all. read more

Nice cabinets and we had a good designer, but everything else not good. We were told we would be installed (except countertops in 2 weeks..that was a lie. We ordered on the 1st of Nov and 20 days later a n installer ahowed up at 100 oclock due to a hold up at CTG warehouse amd dropped guy to get started building cabinets. Was told 2 or 3 day job. This may still happen but doubtfull simce its mow tues 21st 1130 and still. Installers here working. So if you want quality cabinets at fair price and enjoy people wasting amd disrespecting your time go for it I dare you! I personally will never recommend or use them again. Never been so frustated ansd I been dealing with Home Depot last 8 years! Installer says be here by 10 or 11 today but its 1130 now so i guess not! read more

Jason at Cabinets to Go has really turned the store around!! I was very hesitant in using Cabinets To Go originally due to so many bad reviews, but found out it was under new management. We compared pricing to Lowes and Cabinets To Go was $4,000 cheaper!!!! Even with paying for delivery and for their guys to put the cabinets together we still saved a ton. I didn't give them 5 stars because there were a few small issues, but Jason really bent over backwards to make it right!! If you want nice quality cabinets and save a lot, definitely check them out!! read more

I had a great experience with Cabinets to go from the beginning through job completion. They took their time helping me design a great kitchen and made sure I bought the right sizes to make it fit perfect. You only pay a portion of the total bill up front and the remainder when the cabinets come in. Warning, they don't stock cabinets, so they have to order them. It may take a couple of weeks. They kept me well informed and even worked an alternative to one cabinet that was back ordered so I would have everything I needed. After delivery, they were great with answering my questions about installation, which I did myself for the first time ever. I wasn't perfect, but they gave me tips to make it easier and better. Right now the cabinets are made in China. I heard they are building a US plant. I'm not sure about that. You can't do better for a DIYer! I highly recommend Cabinets To Go! read more

My story with CTG in Raleigh, started with a kitchen design and quote by the previous store manager. When I contacted him after not having heard from him for several weeks, he admitted to me that he had forgotten about me. Not good. We spoke in person and then again I did not hear from him for several weeks. I went back to the store to find that he no longer worked there. The reason I am telling you this is because that was the old manager. The new manager, Jason and his crew are amazing! They actually do what the say they are going to do. They are friendly and very helpful. Jason has bent over backward to help me from the moment I meet him and he continues to do so whenever I have a question for him. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. I could write a book about what has gone wrong, starting from my original order not placed properly, then canceled after being told it was in, then losing my order. Then i was told that two other people with my same name ordered at the same time and they got our orders confused. BS! All my cabinets were damaged, when i say all, I honestly mean all. Now its been about 6 months since I've ordered and I still don't have everything, i'm being told its on back order. I've had so many cabinets and panels replaced, every single one of the cabinets had damaged to them, nothing was ever labeled in the boxes, some didn't even come with directions. The customer service at the store is a joke, they aren't organized, not professional, phone calls and emails are not returned, there is no follow through. Unless you want to micromanage your order, I suggest you keep on looking. I feel as though i have received second hand cabinets, the dents, scratches, warped boards should never have even gone through quality control, if there is one. Don't spend your time or money to only be annoyed, disappointing and extremely frustrated with this company. I read the couple of bad experiences here with Cabinets To Go (CTG) and just had to add my very positive experience. I was impressed with the quality of materials and workmanship in their cabinets. I needed cabinets like these to replace older cabinets that were damaged during hurricane Irene down at the coast. I did not to want spend a lot of money as this is not our primary home but wanted something good. The CTG cabinets greatly exceeded my expectations. I was told the cabinets I selected would arrive within 3 weeks and they were right on time! There were no damages during manufacturing or shipping. Jason, Ted and the rest of the crew in the Raleigh, NC showroom were all very accommodating and responded to my calls right away. I am very happy with my purchase and it has greatly enhanced the appearance of our kitchen. I highly recommend these guys and their cabinets.
