When he recommended something to me, I simply took his advice. Usually, I do a ton of research before I buy anything significant, but I didn't do this with him. We ended up having terrible problems installing the controls for the shower. Michael stepped up and provided assistance to get the problem resolved. This included two house visits with another plumber. I don't think very many salespeople would have gone to this trouble to help a customer resolve a problem. Throughout the process, Michael was always responsive and "on our side" to get the shower working. Michael has is now the manager and I'm sure his staff is following his example of how to treat a customer. My bathroom is now done, and I couldn't be happier with everything I got from Wilkinson's. For a variety of unrelated reasons, the renovation was a nightmare and Wilkinson's/Michael was the only part of it that was positive.

No other handyman bothered to respond except Bernie as the repair had to be done from under the house via the crawlspace. Bernie came and gave a detailed estimate and also went under the house into the crawlspace and took pictures and measurements. We scheduled the job and Bernie came exactly on time and made the repair with no complaining about the fact that working in a crawlspace is pretty hard to do and makes the job much more difficult. As a result of this we will now begin to schedule more work with Bernie for flooring as well as painting. His honesty and willingness to do our small job will always be remembered by us as no one else seemed to care about doing it or even returning our calls. He gave my husband and me the gift of the installation of a custom fold-down cutting board where a rickety fold-down ironing board used to be. This, of course, was totally his idea because he's creative like that. The cutting board is beautiful, solid, and functional, adding 30% more surface area to our kitchen. It's far superior to the ironing board that was there previously. He used top notch parts, sourced from specialty cabinet makers, to construct it. Ian was also timely and cleaned up after himself. I would feel confident hiring Ian for bigger projects, as I have seen him helping his former employer (my Dad) build bathrooms, kitchens, basements, and more. Sure, I may be his sister, but I'm his older sister and thus prone to harsh judgement... so you know you can trust my review, and Ian with all of your handyman needs.

Chose MU for a med/large quartz countertop/backsplash job on our kitchen reno. Two other local…read morestone installers were rude or didn't get back promptly. People on phone site were friendly and helpful, plenty of stones to choose from in a variety of patterns and colors. There was some confusion over whether an item marked "sold" actually was (spoiler alert: it wasn't) so make sure to ask if you like a particular one even if it's marked (especially given the stone deliveries come infrequently). Brian and the installer crew were punctual, friendly, careful and meticulous (as was the initial measurement and selection of stone sections for the parts of the kitchen for best effect). Clearly these guys knew what they were doing, and it showed. That said we are a detail-oriented house and noticed (over time) some small issues (a small seam that needed some revision as well as a stain left by a silicone drain mat (advice: don't use them if you have white stone)). Suffice to say Brian returned three times, listened, was friendly and made the needed changes. The company really stands behind their work which is both rare and very appreciated. Our sincere thanks to Brian and the team at BU--we are very happy with our countertops and backsplashes and have received many positive comments on both the materials and workmanship. We highly recommend them for your countertop needs.

I called the company and was told the cabinet only had a year warranty. I tried to contact them several times about the issue, and I was ghosted. During the installation, the workers damaged my kitchen flooring. Again, I complained, but they did nothing about it.
