If you're disabled don't stay here where they don't care how hard they make it on you! I'm a disabled veteran my wife is also handicap. We parked in our assigned number in front of our cabin; like the Front Desk had instructed us to do at check-in. They also said if we had an additional car they would have to park in the overflow parking. While we were gone for the day, the people across the road, parked their extra car in our assigned spot. I had to drop my wife off in the middle of the street in front of the cabin; then drive 300 yards to the additional parking and walk back up the steep hill. I called the main office for help. She said there was no assigned parking. When I explained to her that we are both disabled and we have to drag our luggage over 300 yards when we leave or end up blocking the street for 15 minutes. She said it doesn't matter if we're disabled or not still no assigned parking. Apparently disabled veterans and handicap people don't matter!! We recently stayed for two nights in the Cozy 2-Bedroom cabin at Green Mountain and unfortunately our experience was disappointing overall. We were looking forward to a relaxing family getaway, but several issues throughout our stay made that difficult. We first visited the community pool area, only to find that the hot tub was out of order. While things happen, it was disappointing since that was one of the amenities we were hoping to enjoy. Back at the cabin, we decided to use the upstairs jacuzzi tub instead. Unfortunately, while my child was using the jacuzzi, we noticed water leaking through the ceiling into the downstairs bedroom area. The leak dripped onto the bed and a lampshade below, which was very concerning. Around the same time, I went downstairs to take a shower and discovered that the water temperature was dangerously hot--hot enough to burn skin. We immediately contacted maintenance. The technician arrived promptly and determined that the issues were caused by a plumbing problem. Since the jacuzzi leak could not be repaired that evening, he drained the tub to stop the water from leaking downstairs. He also informed us that the shower temperature issue could not be resolved that night and would have to wait until the following day. When I asked how we were supposed to shower safely, the issue was escalated to a supervisor, who arranged for us to move to a different unit across from our original cabin. While we appreciated the staff's efforts to accommodate us, having to pack up and move in the middle of our vacation was extremely inconvenient. Instead of relaxing and enjoying our evening, we spent hours carrying luggage, groceries, and personal belongings back and forth. The replacement unit also had stairs, which made moving everything even more difficult with a young child. The new unit did resolve the plumbing issue, and the shower temperature was normal. However, we encountered additional problems. The dining chairs were extremely uncomfortable and appeared worn out and dirty, with cushions that were badly sunken and in need of replacement. They were so uncomfortable that we ended up eating on the couch instead of at the dining table, which was not ideal, especially with a 6-year-old child. We also noticed that the bathroom sink drain would not stay open on its own and had to be manually held open to allow water to drain. Although the staff responded professionally and did their best to address the problems, the number of maintenance and comfort issues significantly impacted our stay. We chose this cabin expecting a relaxing, hassle-free vacation, but instead spent much of our time dealing with inconveniences and unexpected disruptions. For the price we paid, the experience did not meet our expectations. Unfortunately, I regret choosing this property for our family vacation and would not recommend it to travelers looking for a stress-free and relaxing getaway. read more

We are Timeshare owners here and made our reservations months in advance. Requested a unit with a hot tub, just like we always do. Owners have priority is what we were told when we called and made the request. Got here and they did not have a hot tub unit available. They were completely booked. But we saw the housekeepers still cleaning the units with the hot tubs! When you go online, they still have units available! Obviously they don't give owners the priorities that they advertise! Got into our unit and their was hair in the sink! And this unit does not even have curtains on the windows! We usually recommend this place to our friends and family. Not after this stay! And we have 7 more days here!! It's gonna be a long week! read more

We loved this place! It's shady, quiet, and well cared for. Our cabin was lovely - rustic but nice. I adored the screened in porch in the back overlooking the trees. Decent kitchen with all dishes and hunts to cook with. Full size fridge/stove/microwave and dishwasher. The loft area had 2 singles plus a bunk bed which was perfect for the kids space. Super cute built in cubbies and shelves. Really a very cozy place to stay. The property has 2 pools. Both are way smaller than the pictures show. The "big" pool is lovely. Deck with shade trees overhanging it, lots of toys available for the kids to play with. Loungers and patio tables. Just big enough for 3 or so families to be in. After that it gets super crowded. Luckily we had it to ourselves many times - and spent hours in there in the hottest part of the day. The 2nd pool at the back of the property is tiny - and no shade. So blazing hot in the summer. No fun. The trail and creek are super cute. This is very close to the Branson strip - but once you are on the property you'd never know it. Things that need improving: -- It would be nice to provide a BBQ grilling area for each cabin. There were a few communal BBQ pits around - but none in a state we'd want to use. -- the rule of no food or drink on the pool deck is ridiculous. In the pool sure. But the deck is there to relax on. -- We wished they had recycling on site. They pick up garbage daily - but they don't recycle at all. -- our 2 story cabin was really warm on the upper floor. It could really have used a window AC unit in it for the height of summer. The ceiling fans helped a bit, but it was really hot up there right at the kids bedtimes. Overall we would totally recommend it as an affordable place to stay that didn't feel cheap in the slightest. read more

Cute cabins, but they have THE THINNEST walls I have ever experienced. The toilet flushing above us was loud enough to wake us in the night. If you have quiet friends/family staying with you they would be nice. I'm awake writing this review because I can't sleep. Even the sound of the cars passing outside aren't dampened. This place is so beautiful. Me and my sisters took our mom to Branson for her 83rd birthday. We stayed at The Cabin Green Mountain and loved it. The area is so beautiful and the cabin had everything we needed. The ladies at the front desk were wonderful... I highly recommend this place!! read more

My family of four stayed at the Cabins during this past week. Our overall impression of the condos was that they were nice, in a beautiful area, and we had plenty of space within the condo. However, there were some negatives to our stay. First, our A/C was not working very well. I know that Branson, Missouri is HOT in the summer time, but I'm sure the Green Mountain Cabins know that as well. For the price we were paying a night, I would expect to have some cooler sleeping conditions when most of the beds are upstairs. When we complained to the front desk, they were very nice about it and sent someone over who "charged" the A/C...twice. Nothing really worked, so we were stuck with a very hot upstairs. Second, the pool is very tiny. We didn't spend a whole lot of time there, but the first time we did it was swarming with people. Don't expect a quiet time to relax by the pool. There is a very lengthy check-out procedure list that you must follow, otherwise they threaten to charge you. I've seen some reviews saying that it was exhausting to clean, but it wasn't too difficult. Just pile up your towels and sheets. Other than those complaints, we had a fabulous time! read more

We absolutely loved this quaint and quiet cabin ! The little trail was nice and there is plenty to do around us. The staff is amazing, friendly and attentive ! The only complaint I had was the hot water. They have the best jacuzzi tubs but after 10 minutes the water is cold, so having a hot bath was not happening.other than that, this place is perfect! Everything is there! Washer &dryer ,pots and pans, silverware , full kitchen and dishwasher. The cozy bedding was perfect! We will definitely return if ever in Branson again! read more

We stayed for a week... it was a long drive from Buffalo , NY, (15 hours)... we are all exhausted when we got there, around 2:30 pm we tried to check in but the cabin are not ready, for another hour, we went to get some food and look around.. we came back and finally got our cabin.. it's like a home away from home. I love to cook, I just went grocery shopping, fill the fridge for a week food, we got there with a clean clothes in our suitcases, we came home with same clean clothes. I love that they have washer and dryer. .I love the screened back porch. As soon as I get up in the morning, I seat there with my coffee, very relaxing, it feels like camping because the scenery from the porch is amazing. The staffs are very friendly and accomodating, especially ms. SHARON, THANK YOU very much for making my daughter Lona occupied, and she had so much fun making those tie dyed shirt, tiles, scarf etc...we can't wait to go back to Branson, MO... Delaney and Anslie you guys ROCK!!! WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU GUYS... read more

First of all... The cabins are beautiful. They were not huge but we were not all cramped in there. We rented two cabins for our large group of 20. The cabins were clean and beds as well as linens were not unbearable. The TVs are all very outdated, basic cable tv and a dvd/vhs player. WIFI was really nonexistant. There was no signal. Cell reception was terrible. There wasnt much for activities. We saw horseshoe boxes but they were rusty and filthy. They were not maintained. Walking trail was very short. No bonfires allowed anywhere. No outside trashcans.. You have to hike it to a dumpster in a parking lot quite the walk away. Important to know since part of check out means cleaning your own cabin. Read below. If you plan on grilling..pack one or pack hiking shoes. Only a few cabins have grills Max occupancy is 8 people per cabin. They charge 50/100 per extra person over that limit. The check in is at 3pm. Dont show up a minute earlier. They didnt ever mention this when we reserved the weekend. They skimp on towels and linens. Dont bother to ask for more. The dish soap and complimentary items are sample size..and a joke. Two pools on site. They are a joke!!! We had to go to another resort to swim. They cannot accomodate a large group. Pet deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE!! The check out process..get ready for this pile of crap. 1. Set thermostat to 72 degrees 2. Collect all linens and towels and leave on kitchen floor. 3. Lock all windows and doors 4. Take trash out and replace bag. (hike to aforementioned dumpster) 5. Turn off all lights 6. Wipe down counters and stovetop 6. Empty refridgerator 7. Turn in all keys and comment cards MUST be filled out. Few other stupid things. For $1300.00..plus tax..I would hate to think housekeeping actually has a job to do? The cabins are nice but every door shutting or a person walking upstairs or downstairs is incredibly loud. The AC is cold for those wondering. The cabins are stocked for eight people with cooking and baking pans as well as dishes. There isnt much to do on site on a weekend. Prepare to leave to do something or pack games. For the money..we were quoted 650/700 for three days two nights. Actual costs were 1300 plus tax and 300 in groceries. We split it up between family members. It was a sore disappointment. My biggest complaint is the price and the amount of cleaning required. Checkout is 10am on your last day. Cleaning the cabin, packing your vehicle up and getting kids going meant getting up at 6am to feed the whole group, pack up items and food and clean the cabin They have a huge housekeeping staff who ride around on golf carts. For the money..you cant clean your resorts? Im not saying were dirty people but stripping down beds, bathrooms and everything else was a chore. By the time we got home we were beyond exhausted. It looks like the prior reviews are a few years old so I am guessing the staff has changed. Our experience with the staff was not so good. If you choose to stay here, I would highly recommend requesting a cabin creekside or in the middle of the property for a better experience. Our cabin was located directly next to a busy road and our window view was an apartment complex. You could hear trafgic noise all day and night....not very relaxing. When we asked to change Cabins we were told we should have requested this when we booked the cabin. We had a family member who had just under gone knee surgery and i mentioned the stairs might be a problem up the side of the cabin. This didnt seem to concern the staff either. To me the website is misleading...pictures of Cabins surrounded by trees and a stream....not a busy road. Certainly would have requested creekside if i had known. We also had called the morning of our reservation to see about an check in. We were told the cabin was occupied and the guests would be leaving at 10. Yet when we called to check status we were informed our cabin would be last one to be cleaned and was not done until after 3pm. The cabin itself was clean, spacious and cozy on the inside.
