From the moment we arrived, the property felt peaceful, secluded, and absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views of Table Rock Lake all around us. The scenery alone made the stay feel special. Our accommodations at Long Creek were cozy, spacious, and beautifully designed. I loved how it had that upscale cabin feel--rustic and charming while still feeling comfortable and modern. The bed was very comfortable, the space felt clean and inviting, and waking up to the quiet lake atmosphere was incredibly relaxing. One of the best parts of staying at Long Creek was the privacy. It felt more peaceful than the main lodge, making it perfect if you want a quiet getaway while still having access to all the amazing amenities at Big Cedar. The pool area was gorgeous and relaxing, and being so close to the marina made lake activities super convenient. Whether you're traveling as a couple, with family, or even for a group trip, there's plenty to enjoy. Guests often highlight the privacy and scenic setting as major perks.

But there's not a free continental breakfast which was a little disappointing. There are places to eat at but they're kinda expensive. There are different names of lodges and the one we stayed at was seemed like it needs a few updates? There's a cool place for kids called Fun Mountain. A few things are included with your stay but others are not free. Along the property, there are many pools and a swim beach, mini golf, pickle ball, shuffle board and beach volley ball. It is a huge place and there are shuttles. It can be confusing at first. They gave a gift shop of course with a lot of stuff to see. You can go on paddle boats or kayak too.

They have awesome kids pools, but they were all closed for maintenance. There is however a fairly small but nice playground that our 2yr old grandson thoroughly enjoyed. Our house had A/C issues, it never did get down to the low 70's which we set it for despite being a fairly mild weekend. The whole family got a kick out of the watching the ground hogs which are everywhere! We saw very little of the staff which seemed odd but not a problem, and they were very friendly. With the closest lake access being a couple minutes driving distance, and the closest beach being even further, the pool not working left us very little to do on site. If you do go to the beach, be aware that the entry line is insanely slow and chaotic. People yelling at each other and a police presence, After about 10 minutes in line, we along with several other vehicles left without ever getting in. I suspect the earlier you go the better chance you have.

Also, there's a really cute marmot and a cute skunk on property too. Outwardly, the places look nice, but once you look at the details, you realize how run down this place really is. We are owners and needed to spend points as we couldn't roll them over nor save them. I wonder exactly where my HOA is going to, but it's definitely NOT this property. We ended up in a 2 bedroom cottage after issues with 2 studios in their Lakeside building (see my review in the Lakeside property). The cottage seemed super nice when we first got in here after our studio debacle, but you can see there are water leaks, mismatched ceiling paint (prob a fix to a water leak), AC broke after 2 days when it's been 95+ outside, a broken lamp in the downstairs bedroom, exterior lock not put on correctly, and deep gouges in the floor. Most of the cottages have cracked siding and missing roof shingles (prob the reason for water leaks). We looked up staying here out of pocket and realized that staying a week in a 2 bedroom cottage costs $100 more for the week than our HOA for 75k points. Also, 75k points gets you a week in a 2 bedroom cottage in Jan/Feb. For Aug, you can only get the studio in their dilapidated building. The hot tub at the lighthouse is cooler than Table Rock Lake and about the temperature of the pool. The main pool by check in seems nicer and is great for kids. One of the doors in women's restroom is missing from the stall and the steel in the men's restroom is rusted. Not sure how hard it is to get replacements. One nice thing is that it's away from the center of Branson so it's quiet. Stay away from this property and Capital Vacations. Our AC stopped working and we dealt with it as it was 73° so not unbearable, but on our last day, it was 86°. We told the front desk and asked for a portable AC, which they said they only had a fan. The AC tech came out and when pulling the breaker to work on it properly, the breaker box became separated from the siding. Unfortunately for us, the AC wasn't fixed but the tech left a box fan. The box fan was NOT going to work for the 86° temp so we decided to pack up and check out. Michelle was super apologetic at the desk and offered to move us to another unit, but we didn't think it was worth it since it was going to be less than 6 hours. After being home for a few hours, 11 hrs away, I received a call from Carla checking up on our AC complaint and wondering if our unit had cooled down. WHAT?? I had to tell her that we checked out last night. This place doesn't know which way is up.

The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. We enjoyed evenings on the balcony overlooking the pool area and stream. This is not the closest thing to the strip but not that far either. I found a barbecue place just minutes away called Danna's which is very hometown and where the locals go, but a definite Branson must! We enjoyed the in-room two person hotel tub and the spaciousness of the larger room. We found there was normally someone waiting when the elevator door opened and that could be a challenge for the in season time. The staff was very helpful and even kept a guitar for us so we could check out and still enjoy a morning music show before heading back home to the STL metro area. I would go 5* but not a huge vacation crowd fan and this place will be jammed in season. So go in the less popular times and enjoy a very high quality stay!

The "Fun House" is a huge win with a rock climbing wall, arcade, and craft area for kids. There's also a full schedule of daily activities, which keeps everyone busy. Between the indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, half basketball court, sand volleyball, putt putt, playgrounds, and walking/hiking paths... there is a lot to do. No complaints at all on that side. They also have a restaurant on site along with a marketplace for basics, snacks, and ice cream, which is super convenient. Where it falls short is the rooms. They are very outdated and definitely need some maintenance. Cleanliness was also an issue for me--I ended up cleaning the bathroom myself before using it, which is not something you want to deal with on vacation. For amenities, 5 stars. For rooms and cleanliness, 1 star Overall, great property and amenities, but the rooms need some serious attention to match the rest of the experience.

I booked my reservation through AAA, paid in advance, and my confirmation stated check-in at 4:00 PM. I went back to the front desk at 3:51 PM, expecting to wait a few minutes at most. Instead, the employee had to go ask whether my room was ready and came back to tell me it still wasn't. When I asked if I would be getting my room at 4:00 PM, I was told, "Check-in starts at 4 PM." Apparently, that means they can start thinking about getting your room ready at 4 PM--not that you'll actually have access to it. There was no apology beyond a scripted "I'm sorry." No effort to accommodate us after a 12-hour drive. No estimated time. No sense of urgency. If you're advertising a 4 PM check-in time, then guests should be able to check in at 4 PM. "Check-in starts at 4 PM" is not an excuse for failing to have paid reservations ready when promised. After spending an entire day traveling, the last thing anyone wants is to sit in a lobby wondering when they'll finally be allowed into the room they already paid for. Completely disappointing and a terrible first impression.

This was alarming and completely unacceptable. We immediately contacted the help desk around 11:30 p.m. to report the issue. Unfortunately, we were told there was nothing they could do at that time and that a manager would be emailed. No alternative accommodations, inspection, or immediate assistance was offered. Because of this, we felt we had no choice but to cut our trip short. We were staying with family and friends and had activities planned for another full day, all of which had to be canceled. This was especially frustrating and disappointing right before Christmas. A situation like this should be handled with urgency and care. The lack of response and support only made an already stressful situation worse. We expected much better from a resort of this reputation.

Why can I go to a $50 a night 1 star hotel and connect my son's Xbox to the tv with no problem so he can play games or use our own Netflix account (because I refuse to put my account info on a device that isn't mine) but I come to a luxury resort and HDMI access is locked out? I had to go to Walmart the first morning I was there to buy a 24" tv and set it up on the coffee table for the weekend. They claim that the sales meetings aren't pressured but in reality you are absolutely pressured to go to these meetings. I know they say there are some perks for doing it but then I just found out there aren't any perks at all. The water heater isn't even big enough to fill up the jacuzzi bathtub 1 time. Water turns cold before the level gets up to the jets. No elevator. I looked around the room for this sales meeting and there is no one under 50 years old. I just had spinal surgery 10 months ago. I checked in late around 11pm. I was stuck carrying a 52 lbs suitcase up and down the stairs because there is no elevator or even a stairs bypass path. I do believe that is an ADA violation. On previous trips to Branson (I come here regularly because I have family that live near by) I was put at The Falls which was very nice. This Worldmark property is a downgrade compared to The Falls even though I was told that this place is supposed to be better. It's not. And last... DO NOT let this place scam you into attending their sales meeting with the offer of a free week vacation. The offer is complete trash. 99% of the available locations have an upgrading fee. Out of curiosity I searched for a hotel in my area that was covered by the "free week vacation" offer. The upgrade fee was $1219.99 for specific 7 days the offer stated it was valid for. I then did a regular online search for the same place using the same days in the offer and found it was $861. Where is the free week vacation if it costs roughly $350 more to use the free week offer than just booking online directly?
