This company does both. I assumed we would get Chef Lisandro but that's fine. Our chef was Luis and he was friendly, professional, and great with our kids who were curious about cooking. I love that all the meals were customizable- you just tell them what you want and they make it. Their fees are fair which is $115 per meal plus the cost of groceries which usually came out to $10-20 per person. The chef will also clean all the dishes and the kitchen before leaving. The shuttle fee was also $115 per way (a little steep in my opinion but if you have a large party it would make sense). Note: although they speak English, there were still moments where the language barrier was apparent. For instance, we asked for vegetable egg rolls to go with our Asian meal and instead of the fried spring roll you see at Chinese restaurants, our chef literally made an omelette with eggs rolled up like a log ;) the manager also only texts so if he doesn't pick up the phone, text him. The chocolate lava cake he made for the kiddos was a massive hit as well. It seems to me before accepting payment this company should know if they can provide the service.
