If you look closely you can see the owner's million dollar helicopter landing in the background.

Played on 11/8. The course was in very rough shape. Tons of brown spots throughout. Not sure if it was just baked out or they are having issues, but I played here in May a few years back and it was much more beautiful. One major beef was the rental clubs. If you plan to rent, consider bringing your own or maybe don't bother going. They were garbage. 4 generation old, beat to death Callaways. My wife's clubs were a joke. The grips were basically strings of rubber and 7 year old adhesive. Grips are $10 for really good ones. If you're going to charge $50/ round for rentals, maybe make sure the grips are more than a thin layer of mummified rubber that's half worn off.

Wedding ring case; empty because the bag boy at Cabo Real stole my wedding ring from my golf bag!

Do not golf here. The bag boy stole my wedding ring from my golf bag. I put my wedding ring in a "Hide & Drink Leather Wedding Ring Case" which stays in a zipped up in my golf bag's watch compartment. At the end of my round the bag boy grabbed my bag, put the head covers on my clubs and took the bag to be loaded in our car. When we got ready to leave I noticed that the golf bag had been unzipped and the leather ring case was empty. He stole it! Thieves work here. I let Joel know; he has my phone number. My friend and I went back later that day to talk to Joel again; no ring. They have a security problem at Cabo Real. Do not golf here. The thief be damned. Fucker! They owe my $900!

Absolutely terrible experience. Course was in terrible condition with brown grass and trash everywhere. they sent out groups of 5. walked away at hole 13 (first time that I ever walked away mid round). We were on pace for about a 6-6.5 hour round. in addition, we rented clubs. they are callaways that were first designed in 2000, and it looked like the grips we're never changed. the club heads had no grooves, the handles were slippery and flew out of my hands once. the bags were shredded and torn, overall beyond what you imagine bad clubs to be. Many other better courses here, this place was brutal

Nice track, should be 5 star once all the holes are up and running. Cause of the Hurricane, you play 1-9, then 1-7, and 17 & 18. still had a blast, my Buddy Jeff was 2 over the second

It was a really nice course. Only complaint is that the water on the 18 whole was sewage.

Cheap price for 9 holes, especially in Cabo. Tight, targets with decent greens.. Range is a chip & putt.

He booked directly with the course and had no trouble setting up a tee time. Included in the price was what they call a hydration station, but honestly, it was more like a full bar and mini restaurant -- stocked with everything you could want. Drinks, snacks, fresh food... they had it all! The practice facility was next-level: shaded umbrellas, a bar, music, and a super relaxing vibe even before teeing off. The staff was friendly and super attentive, even pre-stocking our cart before we got started. As for the course itself -- absolutely stunning. Ocean views, pristine fairways, and multimillion-dollar homes lining the course. It felt exclusive, beautiful, and most importantly, very safe and secure with the gated setup. Whether you're an avid golfer or just tagging along for the views and experience, Palmilla is definitely worth it.

The attention to detail for the daily room cleanings & nightly turndowns are the best we've seen. Never have to worry about having towels, water, drinks, snacks, etc. The staff "for the most part", are all very nice and make your visit very welcoming. The only person who we weren't too thrilled with is the Woman who works the omelet grill in the morning, she wasn't a very nice person but there's always 1 in the bunch. Our concierge Eric was always attentive and available for anything we needed. The pools are gorgeous and we loved every min in them. Things we wish we would've known. For this being a family friendly hotel, 6 out of the 9 daily activities they put together are for 18+, I think they feel the teen room is the reason they can do this, but when your 15 year old doesn't want to hang in a teen room, they should offer family activities to help keep the families together during their stays. We also wish we knew the pools close at 8pm, there's not to much to do after 8 and we found ourselves stuck in the room most evenings. Now the not so good: While we were at the pool trying to enjoy our last day, we're approached while we're eating lunch by someone all dressed up trying to sell is a min 35 day stay that can be used over 10 years for $64,000 USD! That bothered me although they did give us a $300 voucher for the gift shop "VERY expensive in there", just wish the timing on their part was better... Lucca, Velas 10 & Sen Lin have the best food here, but unfortunately for us, that was it. The breakfast & Lunch buffet from Azul was a 2 out of 10 for us, lots of choices but not very appealing and the food was very bland. Fridas food was the same, and room service food was never good. We ate the COSINA DE AUTOR for the 8 course meal, and 2 of us got sick on one of the plates, "possibly the tartar", was a long night for us and only 2 of the 8 dishes didn't make us want to spit them out. Because of how well they treat you and how beautiful and Zen feeling this property is, its a place we would most likely return to, but we would be very prescriptive on our food choices & we would also hope for a little cheaper rate, $1,700+ for their cheapest room for 3 of us, was a steep compared to other all inclusive with the same quality food, especially when you can't use the beach and there's no night life after 8pm for families.

Easy acres to golf courses and sister locations. Great walking/hiking trails. Just pay attention to the trails in the sand to see what's crossed the path. Example bird or snake. Food at the Dunes was wonderful as well as Tigr Woods restaurant but expect to pay $$$$$ at Tigr's place. Worth to go at least once. Still can't get it out of my mind. Shuttles take you to all sister locations and they run till midnight. So get out at 11pm and go get cookies from the Dunes!!!! Draw back off going with member is that you can't use gym unless you pay about $30 day. Not happening. Already paid a heavy price for ability. Another draw back is the pro shop is not online like we were told. I want a ball marker that was out even I was there so no way to get it without going back. Not happening anytime soon :/ The hallways are open to outside with small square windows that open. Love them but they let in a lot of light at nights. Had to tear pages out of magazine to place on windows to mute light. Fit perfect. Stop at a grocery store and pickup food to cook and enjoy coffee in the morning while sitting on balcony looking at golf course. Can't say enough about Diamante. I'll be back, you can count on it!!!

To top it off Tafer and Diamante choose to mislead future buyers into believing things will get better. In addition, the restaurants are way over priced for what they are delivering. We booked for the easy location and affordable price. Ocean view room, pool and bar onsite along with only a short walk to the beach? Check, check, and check. The daily breakfast was much better than the normal American Hyatt Place buffet. All dishes were actually fresh made (not frozen/dried/reconstituted). Loved the chilaquiles, fresh pineapple/cantaloupe/papaya, and the Spanish chorizo (linguica?). Our 1st few nights in the room seemed quite warm and we just figured we weren't use to the area. After the 3rd night we decided to ask for fans and to have the AC checked out. They quickly came up and determined the compressor failed. By that afternoon they had relocated us to a comparable room. At the end of our stay, the AGM Alan, comped our 3 nights due to the AC issue... which was above and beyond service! Exceeded expectations for sure. To top it off, we learned early in our stay, that they had complimentary beach chairs and an umbrella to be used for beach trips. We checked these items out, for free, on a handful of days to the beach. Saved us the money and hassle as well as kept us comfy while getting our daily beach time in. The farm is vast and beautiful with several experiences and buildings including vegetable stands, gifts, boutique shopping, ice cream cart, craft area, cooking classes etc. We were sat under the canopy area, just far enough from the live band to enjoy conversations but close enough to hear the music in the background. They were incredible by the way. All hits from various decades. There was also a nice Happy Anniversary sign waiting for us at the table. We had several staff members attending to our table and they were all excellent. Very friendly, kind. Very attentive and never left us waiting for service. We brought our own wine so there was a fairly steep corkage fee. Just keep That in mind if you want to bring your favorite wine. For the table we ordered the burrata which tasted so fresh and bright. Two at the table ordered the woodfired sea-bass which included cauliflower, capers, lemon and aioli. My husband and friend said it was absolutely the best seabass they had ever eaten. I ordered a vegetarian pasta which was amazing. Full of flavor. A bit spicy which I enjoy. After dinner we strolled the property to take in the beautiful sites. We can't wait to come back to explore more of the property when we come back to San Juan Del Cabo.
