Very great course. Impressive staff. Even though only 12 holes were open we loved the place, and happy to break 100 on our round. Hey I'm working on it. We played Palomino this weekend too and weren't impressed and probably won't play there again. Bring some "off" too bugs for days.

Cabo del Sol is where you want to be for Sunday brunch. Between 10:30 am - 2 pm, it's all-you-can-eat goodness. I've been to many a buffet and this one is tops when we talk about brunch. Waffles, Benedicts, pastries, shrimp, salads, mimosas, lobster tails, prime rib, gelato, egg rolls, soup... do I need to keep going? Oh, I do! There's bottomless mimosas! For $50 per person USD, you get all that as long as your stomach allows. With a view of the ocean. It's decadent, which is probably why they only serve on Sundays. Go there, tip the servers and enjoy.

Spectacular views and phenomenal cuisine!!! Can't recommend this outstanding restaurant enough to all our friends back at the hotel & at home. It's the best kept secret of San Jose Del Cabo! Come see for yourself... Cheers! P.S. The golf course is the best course Jack Nicholas says he ever designed. It played that way too. Top rated golf course of Mexico & Latin America.

We started off with a breakfast in their restaurant and it was so good! Eggs Benedict were just perfect afterwards we hit up the golf course and it was a lot of fun. Breath taking views for the win! I stopped and actually walked to the water to dip my toes in you are that close. Now I'm not a golfer and was just riding along with experienced golfers and I had a blast. The complimentary tacos were awesome. I got the shrimp and easily ate 3 of them.

We played both the Ocean and the Desert Courses, and we prefer the Desert Course by far. There are ocean views from most of the holes on the Desert Course. We think the Ocean Course is overpriced. We paid $110 to play the Desert Course at 12:30, and we paid $255 to play the Ocean Course at 10:30. The fairways and greens are in prestige shape, although the greens are deceivably slow. The fairways are wide and the ball gets s lot of roll to it especially at the Desert Course. We had a great time playing both courses, but we highly recommend the Desert Course.

He booked directly with the course and had no trouble setting up a tee time. Included in the price was what they call a hydration station, but honestly, it was more like a full bar and mini restaurant -- stocked with everything you could want. Drinks, snacks, fresh food... they had it all! The practice facility was next-level: shaded umbrellas, a bar, music, and a super relaxing vibe even before teeing off. The staff was friendly and super attentive, even pre-stocking our cart before we got started. As for the course itself -- absolutely stunning. Ocean views, pristine fairways, and multimillion-dollar homes lining the course. It felt exclusive, beautiful, and most importantly, very safe and secure with the gated setup. Whether you're an avid golfer or just tagging along for the views and experience, Palmilla is definitely worth it.

Food at the Dunes was wonderful as well as Tigr Woods restaurant but expect to pay $$$$$ at Tigr's place. Worth to go at least once. Still can't get it out of my mind. Shuttles take you to all sister locations and they run till midnight. So get out at 11pm and go get cookies from the Dunes!!!! Draw back off going with member is that you can't use gym unless you pay about $30 day. Not happening. Already paid a heavy price for ability. Another draw back is the pro shop is not online like we were told. I want a ball marker that was out even I was there so no way to get it without going back. Not happening anytime soon :/ The hallways are open to outside with small square windows that open. Love them but they let in a lot of light at nights. Had to tear pages out of magazine to place on windows to mute light. Fit perfect. Stop at a grocery store and pickup food to cook and enjoy coffee in the morning while sitting on balcony looking at golf course. Can't say enough about Diamante. I'll be back, you can count on it!!!

To top it off Tafer and Diamante choose to mislead future buyers into believing things will get better. In addition, the restaurants are way over priced for what they are delivering. The attention to detail for the daily room cleanings & nightly turndowns are the best we've seen. Never have to worry about having towels, water, drinks, snacks, etc. The staff "for the most part", are all very nice and make your visit very welcoming. The only person who we weren't too thrilled with is the Woman who works the omelet grill in the morning, she wasn't a very nice person but there's always 1 in the bunch. Our concierge Eric was always attentive and available for anything we needed. The pools are gorgeous and we loved every min in them. Things we wish we would've known. For this being a family friendly hotel, 6 out of the 9 daily activities they put together are for 18+, I think they feel the teen room is the reason they can do this, but when your 15 year old doesn't want to hang in a teen room, they should offer family activities to help keep the families together during their stays. We also wish we knew the pools close at 8pm, there's not to much to do after 8 and we found ourselves stuck in the room most evenings. Now the not so good: While we were at the pool trying to enjoy our last day, we're approached while we're eating lunch by someone all dressed up trying to sell is a min 35 day stay that can be used over 10 years for $64,000 USD! That bothered me although they did give us a $300 voucher for the gift shop "VERY expensive in there", just wish the timing on their part was better... Lucca, Velas 10 & Sen Lin have the best food here, but unfortunately for us, that was it. The breakfast & Lunch buffet from Azul was a 2 out of 10 for us, lots of choices but not very appealing and the food was very bland. Fridas food was the same, and room service food was never good. We ate the COSINA DE AUTOR for the 8 course meal, and 2 of us got sick on one of the plates, "possibly the tartar", was a long night for us and only 2 of the 8 dishes didn't make us want to spit them out. Because of how well they treat you and how beautiful and Zen feeling this property is, its a place we would most likely return to, but we would be very prescriptive on our food choices & we would also hope for a little cheaper rate, $1,700+ for their cheapest room for 3 of us, was a steep compared to other all inclusive with the same quality food, especially when you can't use the beach and there's no night life after 8pm for families.

A hamburger at the sports bar is $27 USD. They tried to charge us over $100 for movies we didn't watch. Then instead of apologizing and removing the errant charges from our bill, the person at the front desk made us wait for over 45 minutes while he contacted the IT department and checked on the times each movie was supposedly watched. We told him our shuttle was waiting and we needed to get to the airport, but this person, Adonis, just took his time and casually investigated and wrote down the times of each movie. No apologies. We booked for the easy location and affordable price. Ocean view room, pool and bar onsite along with only a short walk to the beach? Check, check, and check. The daily breakfast was much better than the normal American Hyatt Place buffet. All dishes were actually fresh made (not frozen/dried/reconstituted). Loved the chilaquiles, fresh pineapple/cantaloupe/papaya, and the Spanish chorizo (linguica?). Our 1st few nights in the room seemed quite warm and we just figured we weren't use to the area. After the 3rd night we decided to ask for fans and to have the AC checked out. They quickly came up and determined the compressor failed. By that afternoon they had relocated us to a comparable room. At the end of our stay, the AGM Alan, comped our 3 nights due to the AC issue... which was above and beyond service! Exceeded expectations for sure. To top it off, we learned early in our stay, that they had complimentary beach chairs and an umbrella to be used for beach trips.
