We took our boat ride with Fabian and Martin and I give them both 2 thumbs up! From the moment they introduced themselves we knew we were gonna have a great time... Fabian was super funny and spoke both English and Spanish as some of the guests spoke one or the other language... Martin was more quiet but he cracked a few jokes here and there. While walking around the marina, some vendors approached us asking if we wanted to book any tours. We had been eyeing the clear boat tours where you can see the water underneath and the fish swimming by so we decided to give it a try. NOTE: you can negotiate the ticket price if you pay cash. The boat tour leaves from the marina and each boat holds about 10-12 people. The tour was 1 hour long which included getting to the arches, taking pictures near the arches, and getting back to the marina. The boat was small and the water was very choppy. Highly recommend you take Dramamine before your tour. Our tour guide Pedro was great. He was entertaining and informative, pointing out things along the way. You can take pictures with your phone during the tour but in terms of taking pictures with the arches at the front of the boat, they only allow the tour guide to take photos with his professional camera. Easy to book via What's App. I booked a glass boat tour to The Arch for $30 pp. They don't tell you when you book, that you have to take off your shoes to get inside the boat. I'm a germophobe so I wish I knew ahead of time so I could wear socks. The waves are very choppy so if you get seasick, prepare yourself. The tour was nice and we were able to see some fishes underneath us, I was expecting to see a lot more. The views of The Arch were very nice and there was a lot of boats in the area. They take pictures of you and of course the charge $100 for the photos. I told the guy don't waste his time showing me the photos if they are $100 and he wrote on a paper $97 for all. Bye. We couldn't have been more pleased with our tour of the famous arch in the Sea of Cortez. We bought our tickets from one of the booths along the docks. The price was very reasonable. We paid a little bit extra to ride in the transparent boat, and it was definitely worth it! Our tour guide spoke in both Spanish and English. He was engaging, informative, and funny. I highly recommend this tour. The prices for photos at the end of the tour were reasonable. We were able to take as many pictures of our own during the tour. This was by far one of the worst tour experiences we've ever had. The cameraman hijacked the entire experience, spending over 30 min of a 50-min tour forcing a group of eight women into multiple posed photo sessions -- all to push photo sales. Because of this, our children never got to see fish under the boat at all. Instead, they spent the entire ride watching strangers pose. On top of that, the ride was reduced to about 10 minutes each way between the Arch and the dock, leaving no meaningful time to enjoy the clear-bottom views. The guide assigned to us was an inexperienced intern who could barely communicate. when I brought the issue to the manager, Janet, her attitude was shocking. She didn't ask what happened, didn't look into the situation, didn't apologize, and took absolutely no responsibility. Just excuses. This experience was unacceptable. I absolutely do not recommend this tour to families or to anyone expecting a real clear boat ride rather than an extended photoshoot. read more

I rarely post things like this, but this experience needs to be shared. If I could post ZERO stars I would. Before the tour even started, the customer service was already unacceptable. On a partner site, this company advertises itself as the "only clear boat with hotel pickup." That is misleading. The day before the tour, I received a message saying hotel pickup would cost an additional $13 per person. That is not what's being advertised--it's a bait-and-switch. To make matters worse, when I questioned the extra fee and sent my receipt showing that it was included they cancelled my reservation without my consent and were rude and dismissive in their communication. You can chose to arrange my own transportation (which is much cheaper, by the way) but I think that's how they try to GET you with a low boat cost. Its concerning to have your reservation cancellled without YOUR consent! This wasn't just inconvenient--it was disrespectful and dishonest. Roberto went back and forth with me for over an hour. We booked a clear boat tour through Enva and Tours Los Cabos around 8:00 PM while out to dinner, for a tour scheduled the following morning at 9:00 AM. Less than 30 minutes later, when we returned to our hotel room, our sitter informed us that one of our children wasn't feeling well. I immediately reached out by 8:30 PM to request a cancellation or at least a reschedule. Despite the quick turnaround, we were met with a rigid enforcement of their 48-hour cancellation policy. The representative declined to help and later stated that unless we could provide a medical certificate, no refund or rescheduling would be granted. I explained that the situation involved a sick child and was entirely unforeseen, but there was no flexibility, compassion, or willingness to find a reasonable solution. Only after I voiced frustration and noted I'd leave a review did they claim they had "attempted to cancel," yet still refused to issue a refund or credit. Be aware: this company's policies are extremely inflexible, even in good-faith, time-sensitive situations. As a business owner in the service industry myself, this would deeply concern me--not just for this tour, but for any future dealings. If something were to go wrong on the tour itself or if another issue arose, I would worry about how unwilling they might be to resolve it. That kind of rigidity doesn't inspire confidence or trust. Policies are important, but how a company chooses to apply them says everything about their values. Unfortunately, this experience showed me that customer care is not a priority here. I would not recommend booking unless you're prepared to absorb the full cost, no matter what happens. read more

We had an excellent trip. We had 10 people including 5 little girls. We reserved tickets the day before. Signing in was easy. The ride took us out of the marina, along the rock mountain. We could see a bunch of small beaches. We went to the end where we could see the tunnels to the ocean. The best part, a couple of times, we stopped and the drivers dropped tortillas into the water. We could see thousands of colorful fish around and under. The girls loved it. So did the adults. Theer's a little clear cubbyhole at the front that the girls loved to crawl into. This was a true clear boat. It was really nifty to see the fish underneath. The guys on the boat bring tortillas to gather the fish and you can see all the fishes right under your feet. The tour lasted about an hour. Everyone was so kind and friendly. The only thing I have to complain about is the cost for photos. For 1 photo (digital or physical), you're paying about $25 USD. For the complete set of digital only you're paying over $110 USD. The photos great but was so unnecessarily expensive. If you are in Cabo, I highly recommend taking the Clearboat. What an amazing way to experience and see all of the beauty that Cabo has to offer. Our tour guide was nothing short of amazing. We learned about fish, lover's and divorce beach and also got to see Sea lions. This boat excursion is pretty affordable and runs approximately 45 mins or so I believe. A co worker of mine recommended the glass bottom boat but I am so glad we went with this instead. It's a super cool way to experience the water while traveling in a clear boat that enables you to see everything! Fun excursion with a great tour company! This is one of the shortest, cheapest, and yet maybe best tours offered - unless you want to snorkel (instead of see the same fish without getting wet). These are Mexican fish so they' come to the clear boats to get some tortillas. Like most local tours, the main purpose is to take photos - and on this one you are allowed to take your own, including of yourself and/or whoever you might be with (in addition to the ones the guide/photographer takes and tries to sell at the end of the tour). Unfortunately, when there are many boats out all at the same places at the same times, getting a good shot with nobody/nothing else in the background is not always possible. Overall, though this is a nice quick visit to the arch and glimpse of the Pacific and a chance to see fish and sea lions. The office will insist on masks worn inside, but once outside and on the boats, only the guides taking photos of your face will be covering any part of theirs. On previous trips, we had to put paper booties over our shoes. But now we had to take our shoes off - and only the guides put the booties over their shoes. The boats are not made of glass, just plexiglass (or clear plastic). read more

I booked this tour before heading to Cabo to see the famous Arch through Viator and it was a breeze. This was the only boat tour I saw that offered a clear boat to see the the whole bottom of the water while on it. There were other options such as glass bottom but the whole boat was not clear. Envatours is located at the marina and was about a 10 mins ride from our resort. It was easy to find. They offered an English or Spanish tour which you can choose. However, we opted for it to be in English but had a group that only speak Spanish. The tour guide was very accommodating and made sure to speak in both languages for everyone to learn the history and sights of Cabo. Every one is required to wear a life jacket the whole time. So be careful booking this tour to get a picture of you and the arch since you have to have your life jacket on at all time. We got to see a lot of wild life with the clear boat and got some great pictures of the arch with no other boats in the way. The water can get a bit rough out there and they give you plenty of time to take all the pics you once. This is a must do when in Cabo. read more

I think all the other tourists who went on "glass bottom" boats were totally jealous they were not on our boat :) Our guide was great and they stopped at a certain spot and threw tortillas in the water and all the tropical fish swarmed! So cool! Los Arcos was pretty neat but we don't get to get too close. It was very cool to see all these puffer fish in the water too! We purchased 2 tickets for the clear boat ride at 9:25am for the 9:30 boat ride. We paid $40 US dollars to the "third party" and he took us in a water taxi to the other side of the marina. When we got to the Tour office to pay the balance to get our tickets the "manager" said our boat left and we would have to pay to reschedule our tour. The tour itself is amazing and well worth the price! The clear glass boat is a unique experience and we saw plenty of fish through the glass. Becca was also a great tour guide and photographer and knew many cool fun facts about the different landmarks by El Arco. It was easy and cheap to Uber from our hotel to the Envatours office. My only recommendation is if you have to go to the bathroom prior to the tour, don't let the employees at the check-in desk convince you to go to the one straight down to the left (a lady there will charge you 10 pesos per person to use the bathroom). Instead, if you walk straight towards the marina, there's another bathroom that's free and open to the public. Pricing for pictures is very high (~$75). read more

The tour was easy to book through Viator and I was very intrigued by a boat tour in a clear boat. We had the earliest booking and the office staff quickly checked us in and prepared us for the tour with any instructions. A short walk from the Envatours office to the boat which was steady and able to easily access. We had a small group so the guide dispersed the group evenly on either side of the boat. You have to take off your shoes before entering the boat which they keep in a box for you. The tour last at or about 45 minutes where you go out to and back from the Arch of Cabo. At the Arch the boat stops for pictures. You cannot remove your lifejacket during the tour and the guide explains that there is no standing at any time during the tour. The tour guide provides some knowledge of the area during the ride in both English and Spanish. Taking pictures was nice however, the guide gently discourages taking pictures with your personal camera and wants to take pictures with a small digital camera that you can purchase at the end of the tour. The tour guide is not a professional photographer or fairly good picture taker so we did not purchase any of the photos. The water is very dark underneath the boat so it makes it challenging to see the sea life but you there are a few stops where we were able to see some sea life. I would definitely recommend going on an earlier tour if you prefer a smaller group. Overall a nice short tour to go out on the water at the marina and see the Arch, Lovers Beach for the price. read more

Took a glass bottom boat tour to the arch. There are several boat tours at the marina but we chose Envatour because the entire boat itself is fiberglass so you can see everything. The other glass bottom boats only have a strip in the center of the boat that you would have to take turns looking into. I'm very happy we took Envatour. It was about 45 minutes and they take you along the beach to the Arch. It was so fun and so cool to see all the fishes swimming right underneath you! So many fish! The water is so clear you can see very far down. Our tour guide was Stephanie and our boat captain was Martin. They were both great and engaging and made it a super fun experience. Stephanie gave some interesting facts about the beaches and rock formations in both Spanish and English. Martin "trained" the fish to swim around the boat, but really he was just tossing them tortillas. It was funny. Once you get to the Arch we took turns with the other guests on the boat to sit up front and take photos. Stephanie had a camera and took photos but they also let us take them with our phones which I am so glad they did because my only complaint is how much the tour company was charging; $25 U.S. dollars PER PRINTED PHOTO! That was way too high. They also tried to sell a package with all photos for $78 I think but still too pricey for us so we did not purchase. I understand that they are trying to make money but I think they might make more money/sales by lowering the price per photo. We were suppose to get off at playa del amor however our son fell asleep after we came back from whale watching and getting off the boat was kinda difficult. If I can give Envatours credit for anything is the time and dedication they spend on trying to scam people. Arrived 45 min before my scheduled boat ride and the trip went downhill from there. Followed the directions that were sent to me in the confirmation email and wasn't able to find the place till 20 min later. When trying to check in the lady at the counter said there was no history of my reservation. I then told her that I booked with TripAdvisor and she stated there was no more room in the boat and they would not be able to accommodate me. After going back and forth with the lady I asked to speak to a manager because I wasn't understanding how my reservation was not found and how the boat was at capacity. The manager then told me the same that there was no history of my reservation, after showing them again my confirmation email and the receipt he then said the only way to accommodate me would be if my party paid $12 extra per person or $300 pesos per person. I asked what the money was for he said so they can get us on the next boat, which was the boat i already had a reservation for that they initially stated was at capacity. I asked how a boat that was at capacity now has space and he laughed. I asked why would we need to pay he stated it was because there was no reservation for me.I asked if I can get refunded my money and he said no without hesitation. I asked if there was anyone else I can speak to because I wasn't understanding how and why they wouldn't take my party and why I wouldn't get a refund. He laughed and said "imagine you buy a Coca Cola and it taste bitter you would have an issue with the place you bought the Coca Cola not Coca Cola." And laughed again. I asked him if there was anything he could do he stated no that trip advisor was a THIRD PARTY THAT THEY DO NOT ACCOMMODATE, THE ONLY WAY TO GET A RESERVATION THAT IS VALID IS THROUGH THEM. I find it ironic how they send a confirmation email warning people of the hard workers that are on the pier stating to not talk to anyone because they aren't good people and will try to scam you. That seems to be what they do here and simply don't care and will laugh in your face. Definitely book with caution. I probably won't be getting my money back but as long as people know THIS PLACE WILL SCAM YPU AND LAUGH IN YOUR FACE that's all that matters. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!! read more
