I am writing this review on behalf of my mom. After being…read morereleased from the hospital today, she needed assistance getting into her home due to mobility challenges following a recent surgery. Your team met her at her house and helped her safely navigate the stairs using a chair lift. She could not be happier with the kind, professional, and caring team that helped her. There were two gentlemen assisting her--one was named Cameron and one named William. Both were absolutely fantastic. They were at her home between approximately 2:00 and 2:30 p.m., and I mention that in hopes that both individuals receive the recognition they deserve for their outstanding care and professionalism. They made sure my mom felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire process. They were quick and efficient while also being incredibly careful, checking on her frequently and asking if she was okay each time the chair lift moved. Their compassion and attention to detail made a stressful day so much easier for her. She said if she could give 10 stars, she would! She also wanted to mention that she would absolutely recommend your company to anyone in need of transportation or mobility assistance. She specifically asked me to leave a 5-star review because she doesn't use social media very much herself. Please make sure these two gentlemen receive the recognition they deserve, along with a huge thank you from our family. They made a tremendous impact on my mom during a difficult time, and their kindness was also a great help to my aunt and dad. Thank you for your professionalism, compassion, and outstanding service. We are truly grateful. One more thing to note, my aunt did not want me to forget about Serene (possibly the dispatcher or whoever answers the phones) she said she was extremely patient with her, kind , very helpful and just overall made her experience in getting the transportation for my mom that much better . Thank you Serene :)

I usually don't like to give one star reviews to businesses, but I had to share my terrible…read moreexperience with One Access. The driver himself was pleasant enough but the dispatch team was horrible in that they sent this driver all over the Bay Area instead of logistically concentrating him to the Peninsula. The patient had an appointment at San Bruno Kaiser at 10:45am so the pickup time was slated for 10:15am to accommodate the 14 minute ride time. Inexplicably, the ride didn't show up until 10:55am, even with repeated calls to One Access. The driver apologized for being late, blaming dispatch for sending him to Los Gatos for his prior patient ride. Worse yet, the driver had no partner, so loading a wheelchair patient solo took extra time. Unfortunately, we arrived for the patient's 10:45am appointment at 11:20am, leaving only about 15 to 20 minutes left for the actual therapy time. I asked the driver if he would just stay since we would be back out from the appointment in 20 minutes, and he just gave me the dispatch phone number to call when ready for pickup. Upon completion of the appointment at 11:40am, we come out and the driver is nowhere to be found. Calling the One Access dispatch to locate a ride, they tell us transport is behind schedule and would arrive at 12:15pm....not really acceptable making a wheelchair patient wait 35 minutes in inclement weather. Unfortunately, 12:15pm rolls around, then 12:30pm....no driver. So I call Once Access again and they said the driver is on his way and should be there in about 15 to 20 minutes. Finally, the van rolls around the corner at 12:50pm -- mind you, the patient has waited for over an hour at this point -- and to our astonishment, it is the same driver from the morning! Instead of assigning another driver, One Access overloaded this driver with multiple rides which has cascaded making other patients late. The driver informed me that after he dropped us off, dispatch assigned him 2 more rides up to San Francisco. It would have made more sense to have him just wait 20 minutes instead of making the patient wait over an hour -- unacceptable. One of the worst transports experiences ever, both to and from! Go with America West -- they are always on time, provide great patient transport experience, drive excellently, and usually have 2 people to assist with wheelchair patients.

What is worse is that the firm doesn't have a back up in case a drive may be running late. The ride was for 1:30 and they didn't call to say they were running behind until almost 2:00P. Then they said they couldn't make it until an hour later. Horrible, horrible. I filed complaints with Kaiser and other firms as well. This firm is NOT to be trusted.

Mona and her staff always treat their tenants with love and affection. I knew my mother was well cared for and never worried about her. Mom has eaten well and has done so well we are bringing her home. We never thought Mom would be coming home as the doctors told us she would need 24 x 7 care for the rest of her life. She has thrived under Mona's care and I am sincerely grateful. I would not hesitate to place a family member with Karo Mina. They will be well taken care of.

She & daddy were at a wonderful Board & Care, but when it was just Mom; I decided to move her to the East Bay. I found Karo Mina through a referral service and went to check it out. The son, Fady, was there. He put on a really good show. I told him that there were some things that were very important, when it came to Mom's care. He assured me that they would take great care of her. I met the caregiver, Cheyenne, while she was doing meal prep. She was a really nice young lady and a great cook. While she was there, caring for Mom; my Mother was kept clean, dry and well fed. But then Mona fired her. Then hired another helper and after screaming at her over the phone, (which I heard); she fired her. Then another person was hired & fired. After that, Mona decided that she and her son Fady; could do it by themselves. As there was ONLY 1 PERSON, OTHER THAN MY MOTHER, to care for. Mona began to complain about my mother's weight and that it was difficult to change her. I asked if I should look for a new place and she said that she could handle it. Well, my fiance and I went to visit one night and I guess it was around 5 minutes after visiting hours; which they never told me about. I rang the door bell and we could hear 2 very loud dogs, barking and running around inside. She complained that it was after-hours and I asked could we just visit Mom for a couple of minutes. After letting us in, is when I saw the true Mona. She was very bitter and angry, as she overheard me tell my fiance that Mom was extremely frightened, as the uncontrollable dogs ran into Mom's room, barking loudly and running around, jumping on us! Mom 's room was pitch black, no music, no TV and she was crying. I closed the door, so that we could visit and help to calm Mom. She is in her 10th year of Dementia, can only speak a few words and is 100% Bed Ridden. She is very vulnerable. Mona bursted into the room, screaming about how she had the right to have dogs and that the lights were out bc Mom was trying to sleep. She flailed her arms around and as she was screaming, headed for me angrily. Thank goodness my fiance was there, and he stepped in between us, putting his arms up and asking Mona to please calm down and to let us visit in peace. Mona then started screaming: 'I want you all out of here! Get out and I want your mother out of here. I am giving you 30 days notice to GET OUT"!! My mother was there from Nov 7, 2021 until Jan 23, 2022. She is just beginning to recover. She shook when anyone tried to touch her and cried all the time. She was so frightened. She had been left in dirty diapers and a dirty gown, from the day or two before; when the medics transported her. I know that Mom was abused, but I can't prove it; as Mom cannot tell us. But I know. PLEASE, STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. FADY IS VINDICTIVE, MEAN, SCARY AND I AM AFRAID OF HIM. (The one person who is left there is afraid of both Mona and Fady. I wish that I could have warned James' family before we left). Mom is slowly recovering and is being well cared for, in a different place.
