    Cute little food truck
    Ashley L.

COVID-19 phase: Masks worn by workers and required! This is the cutest pink little food truck! The worker is extremely kind and welcoming! They have so many delicious goodies! They were at Fort Washington Farmer's Market today and they had so many delicious looking treats to view. I ended up picking the cinnamon Swedish braid. Very fresh and delicious! Great service and delicious food! Highly recommended!

Absolutely delicious. Whether you are vegan or not, these are some of the best pastries and buns I've ever had. Hands down, the best!

The ambiance…read moreis truly amazing, with beautiful, intentional décor that makes the space feel special and elevated from the moment you walk in. The food really shines. The lasagna is hands-down my favorite item on the menu, followed closely by the menudo, and the pecan pie is absolutely phenomenal. I used to love the chicken and waffles, though it seems the recipe has changed--while it's still good, it's not quite as magical as it once was. A couple of years ago, I had a seasonal tomato salad that I still dream about to this day. The menu rotates, so I've never seen it return, but it clearly left an impression. If you're stopping in before 3 p.m. to visit the café, the golden milk is excellent, and nearly every puff pastry in the glass case is worth trying. As much as I adore this place, I do wish the prices were more affordable--especially since the food isn't explicitly organic, which makes the cost feel a bit harder to justify. I also wish the upstairs area weren't limited to VIP pricing, as it would be wonderful for all guests to enjoy the full space. Lastly, every time I've sat at the bar to eat, my service has been less deliberate and much slower. I recommend sitting at a proper table to get the full dining experience as the service has typically been really great when I was seated at a table. Overall, this is an impressive and memorable vegan restaurant that I'd happily recommend, especially as a follow-up stop after visiting the local farmers market held on weekends in the parking lot across the way.

Fun vegan concept to visit if you are in Healdsburg…read more Don't missed the smoked carrot spread - it's super creamy, I don't know how they do it. (If you're not hungry, you can get it from the refrigerated section to-go.) The bibimbap bowl was surprisingly filling and I liked most of the elements (mushrooms were a bit too sweet for me but nice and juicy, the charred bok choy was excellent). It's one of those meals where you feel good about yourself after eating it. The rye brownie my friend was obsessed with, she loved how light it was while still delivering the satisfaction of a brownie. I thought it was not bad, especially considering it's gluten free, but not necessarily the best brownie I've had. It's not too sweet or rich/dense which is my usual gripe with brownies

It's challenging to pick my favorites--the sandwiches and desserts were amazing. Mom chose the Chocolate Raspberry Mint tea and I had the Decaf Ceylon--unlimited pots of tea! They give you a box of all the tea choices so you sample the fragrance before you order. Note that they are vegan. If you'd like gluten-free, just note it on the reservation. The staff is so sweet and attentive. They actually anticipated our every wish. Lots of activity as the cheery staff buzzed around us patrons. They gave us each a packet of wildflower seeds. There are three choices for your table: indoors, the verandah, and in front of the house in the garden. It's decorated like a fairy tale. And so many teapots, decorative animals, and gifts. Truly a lovely experience.

Super cute, mismatched floral china, knickknacks everywhere, gorgeous flowers in the garden. We are on the terrace, which was lovely. The only drawback is that it's right on Main Street with a lot of traffic going by. The food was so good. We started with salad of the adults and crudite with homemade ranch with just a twang of spice to start. Then they brought out 3 tiered tea cake stands for each of us - a kids size, a regular, and a gluten free one. Everything was so delicious. A plate of 5 savory treats, each one more sumptuous than the next. A plate with a perfect scone with a tiny raspberry jam container, lemon curd, and clotted cream (my fav). Last tier had dessert, a chocolate cake with raspberry on top, a shortbread with white chocolate, and fruit. The shortbread cookie was the item I liked the least. They bring you a tea case so you can smell every option. We had grandma's garden, mint, and maple . All tasty. I wish we could have tried even more but they did refill each adorable teapot with more hot water. The price is quite high but it was a lovely way to celebrate. Will definitely come back again. Oh and they do takeout of treats so if you are nearby you can just come in for those.

The arroz (rice) was especially delicious with a perfect amount of spice. We also got a couple of drinks, which were strong but balanced and tasted how they were described in the menu. We sat outside and enjoyed live music from the band next door on a Friday night. The inside of the restaurant is large and trendy. The service was very kind and helpful when we had questions about the menu. The bathroom was in the back corner behind the kitchen, and it had a coded lock (be sure to ask for the code before walking all the way back there). Overall we had a great experience and loved everything we ordered.

I found myself in downtown Santa Rosa doing an errand at 2:30, hadn't had lunch and was starving…read more I wandered around 4th street and came upon Warike, saw that it had tables outside, which looked delightful as we are having a bit of a false spring, and decided to try it. I also was very curious about Peruvian ceviche. Mexican-style ceviche is one of my favorite things and I make it a lot, but had never had Peruvian ceviche. It seemed like the perfect lunch. The restaurant is really beautiful inside, with wood and stone and earthy colors. The place settings are all very nice handcrafted ceramics and the bar was a giant wooden fancy installation. During the day it was very quiet, but with all the hard surfaces, I imagine it was pretty boisterous at night. I told the waitperson that I was interested in ceviche and whether he had recommendations. He pointed me towards the ceviche carretillero (cart ceviche), which he said also had their house ceviche, fried calamari, fried yucca and plaintains and that it would be more substantial for a lunch. I later looked up "ceviche carretillero" and found out that in Peru, a street food was ceviche topped with crunch fried calamari and that it was very popular and served out of carts! The preparation was lovely, with a pile of their fish of the day, which was a type of cod, in the middle with shredded onions on top. surrounding it was fried calamari, sweet potato, yucca, and extremely thin and beautifully fried plaintain strips. He offered to pour the small pitcher of Sangre de tigre on top and I agreed. Sangre de tigre is the marinade used to "cook" the fish. It is different than Mexican ceviche!! While not spicy with chiles, it was spicy with ginger and I don't know what else. It hits your throat, not your palate, which I thought was so interesting. I would not say it was "hot spicy", but I did cough a bit when I swallowed! It was very good! The fish was cut into fairly big rough pieces so you could really taste it. The calamari was excellent, as were the yucca and plaintain. I used the plaintain like I would fried tortillas in a Mexican ceviche, and using it almost like a spoon. I don't know if that was proper or not, but it worked for me! The Yucca would have been perfect with some mojo sauce, but that's a Cuban thing. I wonder if their is a comparable Peruvian sauce? The portion was generous and perfect for someone who came to lunch hungry. I really enjoyed my little middle of the day splurge lunch!

We ordered a creamy corn empanada, traditional beef empanada, plum & bacon empanada, al pastor empanada, and a bacon egg & cheese empanada. Everything was fresh, authentic, and delicious. My favorite empanadas were the traditional beef and al pastor. Along with the flavorful meat filling, I enjoyed the crispy flaky crust as well. The sauce and pica de gallo provided went well with the empanadas. The presentation of the empanadas in the box was appealing and delightful. I appreciated the little menu in the box to inform you what you ordered. The little flower was a nice touch. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Vinoma. It was nice to try some legit empanadas from an Argentinian restaurant. Price point was fair. Glad we were able to run into this gem in wine country. We hope to be back next time we are in the area.
