YUM! I can't wait to come back and try literally their entire menu. It's almost like they created a menu that is completely catered to my taste buds. It's got all the things that make my mind go 'ding!' when I see it. Words like: ricotta, smoked salmon, avocado, eggs. All words that make me take a second look. I had come because I saw they had an egg salad toast, (I am an egg salad fiend!) but there were so many yummy options, it was a difficult decision. I ended up ordering the smoked salmon toast, which had cream cheese, cucumbers, amazingly high quality smoked salmon, capers, pickled shallots, and it was supposed to have microgreens, but they were out so, they put avocado on top on levain bread. It was seriously delicious. So fresh and high quality, portioned perfectly for lunch. As I get older, I kinda just want a well-portioned lunch that's healthy. I love my greasy heavy options every once in a while, but for 'everyday fare' - you want something that is good, high quality and doesn't weigh you down. This is perfect for that! With everything so expensive nowadays, I'd rather pay a decent price for something high quality and well portioned... there's so much mediocrity out there, it makes me tired thinking I have to pay $20 for lunch nowadays and it's not even that good. ... Might as well stay home and heat up a trader joe's frozen meal. :P But sometimes, I don't wanna do that! So for those days, I guess I'll be coming here to try another menu item. Plus, the cafe is cute, and a place you want to sit in and eat your food, making it comfy. And I like comfy! I need comfy, nowadays. Glad I found this hidden gem! Always wanted to try this place but always heard mixed things about how rude they are but the drinks are good. Yesterday, I experienced (who I understand is the owner) walking down the sidewalk carrying a load, obviously heavy and telling people that their fat belly's were in the way. We had such a lovely visit to Fruity Moto! The shop has the cutest warm and cozy bike theme inside, it felt so welcoming and unique. The owner was incredibly friendly and took the time to chat with me and my son while preparing our order. It really made the experience feel personal and special. We ordered an açai bowl and a coffee to share. The açai bowl was delicious and fresh, perfect for splitting between the two of us! The coffee was okay, nothing extraordinary, but solid. Next time we'll definitely go for a larger açai bowl because we could've easily enjoyed more. The BEST COOKIE I've had in decades was still baking in the oven when my friend and I wandered into Fruity Moto looking for a late afternoon coffee and a little treat. We saw Snickerdoodles on the counter but the owner suggested we might want to wait for fresh. I don't remember what the owner calls it but it's rich and chewy and made using almond flour, dates, pumpkin seeds and pieces of dried apricots. We ordered decaf espresso coffee drinks -- they were delicious -- and the cookie was beyond perfect. So good that my friend bought two more to go and I'm still thinking about it three days later. Very fun small place. Cozy enough where you'd just want to sit and relax with your smoothie or drink and some food. The salmon toast I had was great! And the smoothies are refreshing . I was welcomed when I came in which was very friendly. The man behind the counter was very nice as he gave me my drinks and food. Stopped by for breakfast before work in the morning and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my egg breakfast bagel. Equally surprising was that it comes with fresh avocado standard for under $10. Had to return the next day for another bagel breakfast sandwich and picked up the Avocado Greenie smoothie on staff recommendation; now I'm not usually a green smoothie person, but this one might've changed my world view. LOVE FRUITY MOTO! I use to go to their truck whenever I would see it around town so I was super excited to see an actual store front. I love the Moto Bowl. It's my absolute favorite. My friend ordered the cold brew smoothie this past weekend and it was also incredible! I might have to get that next time. A whole group of us showed up Saturday after our crossfit class. The guy working let us know it was just him working today but he will get to all of our orders. He also thanked us for coming in. He was so nice! I absolutely love this place in downtown Windsor! What I love even more is that they also have a truck during Farmer's Market on Sundays on the Town Green! I absolutely love their Banana Nut Smoothie and their Avacado Toast. Both options have fresh ingredients and I love that it is a healthy option. The service was terrible. Store clerk/ owner rude. He refused to serve me after I waited patiently for him to process an order. he said there was one order ahead of me. when he was done with that order, he started to clean and share strawberries with a customer. I was still waiting for my order and he offered me a strawberry and I said no thank you and kindly said I'm actually in a bit of a rush and that I had to be somewhere. I used to love this spot but I have no idea what's going on there now. My husband stopped in and placed a simple order with two drinks and said he'd come back in 10-15 minutes to grab it. Showed back up and the man and woman, both flustered, asked him if he'd like to cancel his order because the drinks were still not ready. He said he would wait and once the drinks were finally done, one was still wrong! The menu is simple yet good but it's alarming when someone can't get a simple juice order correct. The previous time I had been in there it was as if there was a daycare being ran on the side behind the curtain. Very odd and definitely not a professional establishment when that's what's going on.
