Thank God I found Dr. Ace and. Dr. Canceres. I've been going to the same doctor for 15 years having the same problems never diagnosed with anything. I end up getting super sick in and out of the hospitals so I decided to try out these guys and boy and I happy. I started seeing them in Jan2025. Within 3 months I got into two or three different specialist that I needed to see, and they are all great and working as fast as I possibly can to get everything going ASAP for my health. A good doctor like these guys can definitely help change your life for the better and definitely give you a better perspective on doctors in general. Good luck and on everyone's health travels. **update update read all about it** A long time ago in a city called La Palma my other half was feeling super sick and out of pure luck we walked into his office on Valley View and have been a patient ever since. Dr Caceres saved his life and I am forever grateful. A few years later he moved his tiny office to a beautiful building on Knott and Crescent in Buena Park. We have been coming here to see Dr Caceres for about 15 years plus now. He specializes in heart conditions. As well as routine care. There are a couple of Doctors who help Dr C out. Ace is one of them. If anything comes back out of the ordinary Ace is excellent about calling patients and begining a treatment plan. The staff here have always been friendly to us. Sometimes we wait a little longer than it should be, but they are always busy here. Most services are done in house. Labs, xrays, ekgs, ect. They take insurance and offer excellent cash prices for those uninsured. If you are insured do yourself a favor and understand your policy so you know what is covered, what is routine, preventive and out of pocket. I see some complaints about that here. A few medications are available at a cash price at the front desk. Most prescriptions are sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy. Dr Caceres however does it the good old fashion way and hand writes them. There is a pharmacy next door that is suppose to be super cheap. Waiting room is big enough to accommodate patients. They offer urgent care here but usually only in the afternoons, once all the appointments have been seen. We have taken our chances and just showed up before and ended up waiting our turn. They close at 6:00pm. Im a huge FAN. Dr Caceres is Amazing. read more

Ace Alvarez is rude and arrogant. He calls himself a doctor, which he is not, and told me I was wasting his time when I called to ask a question. He said he is a doctor and he is busy, telling me his time is more important than mine. As a matter of fact, I could not even ask the question because the first thing out of his mouth was that he is a doctor and he is busier than me. He needs to rethink his approach. I would not recommend this clinic, especially when one of their staff claims to be in a position which they are not. Why would any practitioner who cares for people treat anyone this way. For my experience with Dr Caceres specifically NP Ace is the best professional person who always attends with our needs for those who mentioned Ace , Ace is the one who diagnosed me right away with cancer and because of him I conquered my fear and I was treated right away !! I came to Dr Caceres office because a friend recommended me to their office.. I had back shoulder pain, the pain shot down to my arm and hand and fingers and then two of my fingers were numb, one Dr prescribed not from this office a simple anti antianflamatory but it wasn't enough to take away the pain. I came here, dr said use a cone, and I asked what about the pain it's excruciating, I can't eat! I sometimes puke because of the pain. He said no and sent me on my way home w NOTHING IN HAND. I ENDED UP IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM A WEEK LATER!!!! Puking my guts out because of the pain, crying because of the pain. ER doctor gave me an X-ray and he said omg you have a severe pinched nerve. I told him this horror story and he said that doctor knows not what he's doing. DR JIMENES TO ME IS THE WORST. The ER doctor told me he should have never sent me home w nothing in hand and w nothing to manage my pain- THIS PLACE DID NOTHING TO IMPROVE MY QUALITY OF LIFE. The location is easy to find with ample parking. It was my first time here so I came in early to do the necessary paperwork. My appointment was for 3:30pm and I was brought back exactly on time. I got my pressure and weight checked. The room was very clean and organized and the chair was very comfortable. I was seen by Susanna. She was very attentive and really took the time to hear my concerns and get to know me. She prescribed me some medication and gave me a print out with suggestive tips to help with my migraines. At the end she thanked me for choosing them and I was promptly given my next appointment. Overall a very pleasant experience and a great staff. read more

Most of the staff is nice and accommodating but this place can get very very busy. Make an appointment and ask when their slow times are for faster service or you could be waiting over an hour to see the doctor. This is my first experience at this Primary care and I'm Not happy with the doctor. I went in for two referrals and he gave me the run around, claiming that I could only receive one because of my insurance???? I then had to call my insurance, who said they had no idea why he told me that (I should get how ever many referrals I need), then called the front office, who also told me they had no idea why he told me that... OK lol Staff was great in fixing and apologizing for his mistake so I'll at least give 3 stars. Nonetheless I'll be changing my primary care provider as soon as possible. UPDATE: 4/16/18 I had to wait to change my PCP so I am stuck with them until next month so I decided to just get my referrals. After all, it was my first visit and maybe I just came on an off day. WRONG. I was made to wait 1 hour and 30 mins. As soon as I decided to walk out of the patient room after not being offered any explanation as to why I showed up at 9:50 and my doctor still wasn't here by 11:30, I ran into her on my way out. I had other things to do. So I didn't give her any more of my time. Then another doctor decided to put his two cents in by stating that they're busy on Mondays and there's only 3 providers. I wish I could give this place (negative) -5 !!!! I've been going to this doctors office for the last 10+ years and have NEVER EVER had a problem with any of the staff. Ms. Hyun-Joo Park, the NEW Physician Assistant at Caseras Medical group in Buena Park, is a complete idiot! Avoid seeing her at all costs. She doesn't know what she's talking about and isn't a very good listener. She was very rude and unprofessional at my appointment yesterday. She never asked questions regarding my medical history and when I said anything regarding my "health" she questioned me about it and implied I was lying! To top it all off... Ms. Park actually had the nerve to lie to me regarding "calling in" my refill prescription for my migraine medication. The pharmacist was kind enough to call her and ask her to fill the Rx. In my opinion she's the only headache around her! She wasted my entire morning because because I had to reschedule to see the doctor on another day. Some people aren't cut out for this type work. Ms. Hyun-Jojo Park please go back to school and learn how to interact with patients. YOU SUCK at your job!!!!! The Drs are always amazing but for some reason the front desk agents are always so annoyed and giving attitude. They say you need a mask to be seen but refuse to provide one for you. Any time I've called on the phone they're always giving attitude and have hung up on me multiple times before. I have always been more than nice to them but their attitudes make me dread going there. read more

Dr. Caseras has been my wife's main cardiologist for 8 years now. He and his medical group has always gone above and beyond for her in all aspects of her treatment. I can't say enough about how grateful and indebted I feel towards him and his staff. I'm so thankful for the compassion and professionalism displayed by the EECP department. They maintain a clean, secure, and pleasant environment for all patients as well as guests like myself. Neira and Rio are the two technicians I am most familiar with and they are such a delight to be around and converse with. They show the dedication and compassion needed in this field and I'm grateful Dr. Caseras has a very selective group that really distinguishes them from the rest. We haven't had much contact with Daniel though I must interject that he is just as dedicated and capable as the previous ladies I spoke upon. I've witnessed his work ethic first hand and I applaud him as well. We actually reside in Riverside but make the roughly hour drive 3 times a week for her treatment. I'm sure there's places and Drs closer to us but I doubt they offer the same care and compassion we recieve here, so the distance is never a concern my wife's health and well-being always comes first. And if you love someone unconditionally it means everything that they're treated with the same concern and compassion that you find here. I recommend Buena Park Heart Center should you, a friend, or loved one ever be as unfortunate as my wife. read more

Horrible place-dont go here ! I went underwent a medical procedure where I was supposed to be sedated with drugs, however none were used ,I felt everything they did, then they lied to me about the amount of time it took I was in the operating room 22 minutes,they ran a cable in my leg through my heart, to check for blockages, with No Sedation! One of the most horrible frightening experiences of my life would never go back or recommend to anyone. read more

My husband has been seeing this Dr. C since he was young. And do to Covid they have changed their office procedures regarding patient interaction with staff while attending an appointment. Mask are required along with fully vaccinated patients if they wish to be seen by the Dr. Masks are also Mandated by the office in order to wait in the waiting area and while waiting to be seen. PATIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK BUT NOT THE STAFF BEHIND THE CHECK-IN WINDOW? My husband was told to get a mask or he would not be seen today for an appointment that was made prior. The office did not supply him with a mask so due to this inconvenience he had to leave and go purchase one from a local store. If this office is worried about cross- contamination or contracting Covid while being less than 6ft apart from patients or staff for the working day than why are these mandates only for patients who are all fully vaccinated/ masked. These mandates should be for all. Even fully vaccinated and masked it still can be contracted. Unfortunately we will be seeking out an other alternative when it comes to our healthcare. This place came up on my insurance providers list as an "urgent care", but it's not. I walked in shortly after 8am and asked the young girl at the desk if they took walk-ins and with attitude she said "only if there is a cancelation" so i asked her if she thought there was a chance I could be seen today (expecting maybe she would check the system for any openings and offer an appointment or SOMETHING) and she rolled her eyes and made a snooty face and just repeated herself "if there's a cancellation, then yes". Okay so here's the Scoop most hospitals I go to they have you waiting forever and to be honest I fall asleep until they call my name. Here however is where they are different from all the rest. There was a lot of things I needed to do and they found the way to get me in and out within 30 minutes. Now that is impressive! Dr. Caceres is an excellent doctor. Besides the medical treatment, something unique about this doctor is that he is not in a rush to cover as many patients ($$$) as he can. He spends time with us, he listens to us, and he shares; which itself is 50% of the treatment. From my experience at various parts of the country for the past 30 years, such doctors are hard to find.
