I have been here for over two hours. That's how long it takes to get in an examination room, but it took about 20 minutes to check in on the tablet including giving them my ID and insurance card. The intake interview was over 40 minutes ago. They took my blood pressure and weight while writing down my answers about why I was here on their glove. Oc urgent care has been a life saver having a 3 year old. As most toddler parents know kids are gross and tend to get sick super easy. It's been middle of the night trips or early morning trips either way Oc urgent care has been consistent without the long urgent care line. After one night at choc for almost 6 hours, I knew I had to find another way. Every single provider has been an absolute god send and our most recent trip with Dr.Wu was fantastic. The wait time was extremely long. I waited about 45 minutes just to be brought into a room, and then another 15 minutes before seeing the provider. If you're in the Orange County area, I would recommend avoiding this place. I only come here because my primary doctor's office hours overlap with my work schedule, and this location is close by once I'm off work. I've come to this urgent care for some years now. If me or my family can't get in with our primary drs we come here & always get the care we need. The staff changes often but they are always helpful. Brought my mom here to be checked out after random burst of sweats and blacking out. She did not fall yet she had a lump on her forehead and ankle. Incompetent doctor repeatedly said "oh I don't know" (3 times @ least) in regard to what she could have. Following up, turns out her ankle is broken. Would've been useful to get X-rays done this day instead of the doctor rushing to just get her to leave with useless antibiotics that she did not need whatsoever. read more

I came in here over the weekend with my boyfriend unable to think straight or talk much due to body aches, nausea, fever and migraine. This is my 'go-to' Urgent care. The waits can be long, I agree, but in my experience, if I get there right as it opens, for about an hour after their lunch, I don't have to wait a crazy amount of time to be seen. Most of the doctors here are great, but I've been seen by Dr. Wu the past several times I have went and he is the most patient, thorough doctor who knows his stuff, great bedside manner. You can tell he genuinely cares for you and wants you to feel better. Every time I've seen him, his diagnosis is on par. read more

I have been to this urgent care on multiple occasions. Each time I feel the service has gotten worse. Not all of the doctors at this clinic are interested in thoroughly checking your health. I have gone twice where the doctor doesn't check ANYTHING, meaning lungs, heartbeat, ears, mouth, all of it. I have been told something I am experiencing is "probably xyz" (without being physically evaluated) and then told I'm good to go. If I did not have insurance and had to pay to come here, I would be genuinely furious. It's already irritating enough that after waiting to be seen, when I leave I am not satisfied with the service and feel like I need to be checked AGAIN at a different location. Skip this place and go straight to a different location. I have not been happy with the front desk service as well, I have called and been treated rudely and hung up on without any goodbye or appropriate way to end a conversation while speaking to a business after THANKING them for their help. read more

Double check any billing statements you receive from them with your insurance company and do not blindly pay for it. Feel like I was almost scammed from them as they mis-coded my virtual appt for an in person visit and sent me a bill for a copay. Thanks to their unhelpful billing dept who ultimately advised me to take it up with my insurance company instead, my insurance rep was able to figure out that it was miscoded, hence the copay. The clinic was fully aware the appt I was calling about was virtual, yet when my insurance rep called them they acted like they didnt know it was virtual, and claimed they thought it was in person. Took over a month to get any progress on my copay situation due to their disorganization and lack of knowledge. read more

It's just a clinic. They will be kind but they won't roll out the red carpet. Stick to ur primary physician for that. Get tended to as u need. Todays visit was short. 1 hr wait. About 10 min with the actual dr. This was for allergies issue. Assistants had a kind vibe but when the drs were closed u can hear them venting " I don't wanna be here" and " I have no comment" bad vibes. Keep ur comments to ur self. No one wants to be at the dr . We come to u for help but if u don't wanna be there then ur heart ain't in the right place to help people. To the assistant GET OUT OF THERE AND FIND ANOTHER TYPE OF WORK. This is not ur vibe and as a patient I don't want ur vibe. Took my 5 year old son here on christmas for a very high fever. Too long of a wait. We were told he had the flu and prescribed meds and sent on our way. Not 5 minutes after leaving our son had a febrile seizure and passed out in the car. Fortunately we were able to get to a fire station and have him rushed to the hospital in an ambulance where he got the help he needed. OC Urgent Care should not have sent us on our way until trying to help us bring his fever down. At the very least they should have sent us to a facility that could have better helped us. Went on a Sunday for a foot injury, didn't want to go to ER all day, but didn't realize I'd be waiting here over 3 hours for an appointment. Only got a bandaid for my foot and a referral for X-ray because they can't do them there and X-ray referral is not open on the weekend. I got my X-ray done the next day, Monday, and now over a week later they still have not called me with results. Called for follow up and told they would get back to me but no one ever did. This place is great because of the level of professionalism. I chose the pharmacy and the pharmacy did NOT accept my insurance. This review is a bit late! But they deserve it! Came in a Saturday at noon as my family of 3 had cold/flu symptoms. Place was empty, we checked in and were taken back immediately. All the girls were amazing, and polite, from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. We tested for Covid and thankfully came out negative. Tests were provided within 10 minutes. They sent out prescriptions to the pharmacy and felt much better after walking out knowing it was just a cold. read more

Prescribed wrong dose for medication and wouldn't answer the phone from pharmacy to update it. Had to drive back to urgent care to tell them myself.
