I had a stroke and sadly, I may need surgery. This isn't the clinic that knows anything about it.

The type of care I have received from Dr. Catherine Marks is amazing and very thorough. She went through 121 pages of medical records to refer me to the best neurologist, endocrinologist and vascular doctor specialist! Wow!

"Pre-natal vitamins" from fake clinic that LaChapell sent me to.

This review is for VICTORIA MAE LACHAPELL, an employee here at the clinic. I cannot speak for anyone else there. I came into this clinic looking for help because I wanted to get an abortion. Everything seemed generally okay at first until LaChapell ended our 12:15pm appointment on 03/09/2022 with a referral to another clinic to get an ultrasound done so I can see which type of abortion I would need to get because after a certain number of weeks, the type of abortion you would need changes. I was so wrong to trust this conniving employee. LaChapell intentionally and MALICIOUSLY sent me to a militant, religious pregnancy crisis center by the name of Horizon Pregnancy Clinic in Long Beach in hopes that she could get them to convince me to continue my pregnancy. I went to their clinic and experienced manipulation and deceit because I had no idea what type of place it was until the end of the appointment when they began spewing religious nonsense to me. Religion has no place in healthcare and Victoria LaChapell should stay in the church, and not a medical office where she can continue her religious "mission." A quick Facebook search shows her public profile and her affiliation with other militant church groups. This is not private and anyone who types her name on Facebook can see that. I felt disgusting that LaChapell touched my stomach. I would never let someone with a hidden agenda PHYSICALLY touch me. How is anyone supposed to know that they cannot trust a doctor and their referral? This is completely unethical and possibly a violation of the Stark Law. The most messed up part about this was that someone in the office, a higher up named Rowen or Rowan, begged me not to complain and spoke over me on the phone and said that what I said was awkward. She claimed that LaChapell would never do such a thing. Little do they know, people can make connections to things and use their knowledge to understand that this was all done intentionally. This office has probably allowed her to do this and was surprised to find that they thought I would not speak up about my disgusting experience here. I have reported this place and specifically LaChapell to the appropriate authorities. No one should be treated like this in such a difficult time, when you need a care provider to do their job, and not try to control people's body to push their beliefs. Good luck with your wonderful employee.

I've been going to this Dr office for 8 yrs I've never had a Dr who was so concerned and intentive Dr marks is the best I recommend anyone who wants and needs good care to come to her.

I was only here for employment-related requirements, and thankfully did not come seeking medical care by choice. That said, I strongly advise anyone who actually needs medical attention to stay away. If this visit had not been free through my employer, I would never consider stepping foot in this facility. I was questioned about personal health information in a very public and unsecured area, which felt like a clear violation of privacy. I was also given medical treatment options that did not align with what I was there for. I had to correct the staff and clearly state what was required before they proceeded appropriately. When I received an injection, the technician did a poor job and failed to properly clean the area afterward. I left with visible residue and blood still on my arm, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about basic hygiene and safety standards. Overall, this was a troubling experience from start to finish. The lack of professionalism, disregard for patient privacy, and poor clinical practices make this a place I would not recommend to anyone seeking care.

Drove back here and one of the doctors I met back in September of 2025 told me that it's a mild allergic reaction to amoxicillin because it's kind of a common one. I was shocked and gave her that "are you deadass look"? She wasn't joking. Another doctor came in and he took a look at the allergic reaction I had. It wasn't severe or anything. He took a sample from my throat to see if it was anything else. He was really reassuring.

I've been coming to this urgent care since around 2020 and have been a returning patient over the years. Until now, I've never had a reason to complain and have generally had positive experiences. This visit, however, was very disappointing. I scheduled what was advertised as an "appointment" through the urgent care's website, expecting that my reserved time would reduce my wait. After arriving, checking in, and waiting for over 30 minutes, I asked the receptionist about the delay. I was then told that the appointment doesn't actually begin until you physically check in at the clinic, meaning patients are essentially placed into the same queue as walk-ins. What concerns me most is that this information was not made clear when I scheduled online. Instead, the explanation was provided only after I arrived at the clinic through a notice at check-in. In my opinion, that's too late. If an online "appointment" does not reserve a specific place in line or appointment time, that should be clearly disclosed on the website before patients book--not after they've already taken time out of their day to come in. To me, advertising an appointment system without clearly explaining how it actually works is misleading. Patients reasonably expect that an appointment reserves a time for them. If the process is really first come, first served after check-in, that should be communicated upfront so people can make an informed decision. Many people choose urgent care instead of the emergency room because they want timely care for non-emergency issues. A scheduling system that functions like a walk-in line defeats that purpose and creates unnecessary frustration. As someone who has been a loyal, returning patient for years, this experience has unfortunately changed my opinion of this clinic. Because of this policy and the lack of transparency, I no longer feel comfortable returning. It's disappointing to say, but they have lost my business. I'm sharing my experience so others know what to expect, and I sincerely hope the clinic improves its communication by being honest and transparent about how its scheduling process actually works. Patients deserve accurate information before they book an appointment--not after they've already arrived.

I signed up for a physical... and boy was I in for a treat…read more.. To begin, I made the decision to see Doctor Chaudhary based on a cursory glance at her reviews on Zocdoc. She seemed to have good reviews so I went ahead and booked with her. When I arrived 10 minutes early to fill out first-time paperwork, I was astonished that there were so many people filling the small waiting room. "Oh well," I thought. "Must be a popular place." I repressed my concern. About an hour-and-a-bit later, after I'd long-finished my paperwork and the room had only gained more waiting patrons, another lady entered and had a "quiet" discussion with the woman up front which shortly thereafter led to her being admitted into the back to see the doctor. Mind you, they were already an hour and some change late to my appointment that I was 10 minutes early to. I tend to pride myself on patience because I know that sometimes things go awry and people could use the emotional space to do their jobs but that irked me a bit. So I approached and asked how long it would be before I could be seen. I was assured I'd be next. As per my recollection, at this point, one or two people who had shown up after me (and had appointment times after mine according to the sign-in sheet) had been admitted. I was getting annoyed. Oddly, a representative and rather pleasant fellow from Astra Zeneca had entered the office presumably for a meeting. After waiting far less time than I, he seemed to decide that he would never be seen and he made his way out without ever even being engaged by an employee. About an hour-and-forty-five minutes after my appointment time was scheduled for, I was brought back into a room where I refreshed my disposition on the assumption that they were having an off day and trying to make the best of it. I then went through the typical routine with the nurse... and then I waited another 20-30 minutes. When the doctor finally entered, she seemed nice enough but was noticeably NOT Dr. Chaudhary. I can't quite remember her name but it wasn't the Doctor I'd signed up for. She seemed nice enough, rather chatty... but in a funny and well-humored sort of way. She rattled on for a bit about signing up for more services through them and put her stethoscope on me. Then continued to talk about eating healthy... then without skipping a beat she thanked me for coming and went to make her escape. I interrupted her to remind her I was here for a physical. She asked me what I thought a physical was and peppered in a couple more jokes then indicated she was continuing on her way out. We were both laughing, but I was as of yet unsatisfied. And so awkwardly, I felt it necessary to interject further. "I know it's funny that I have to say this, but usually when I get a physical they have me undress and check around a bit to make sure everything's okay." She then made a joke about rectal exams being outdated. This was getting real weird. I didn't want a rectal exam. I wanted to be checked out, not just talked at. Needless to say, I didn't leave feeling they'd done their job. At minimum she hadn't answered the 2 questions I'd come prepared with. Shortly thereafter, in the waiting room and still feeling unsatisfied, I asked the receptionist what a physical usually entails. I gathered she might have known that I was suspicious of what they were up to and was careful how she responded. I dispensed with the tip-toeing and just told her straight up that all the physicals I'd ever had involved more poking around and checking me out and that none of these things had happened. She told me that physicals are sometimes done in multiple parts. Perhaps she was right. I'm not entirely sure. All I know is that spending 3 hours at the doctor's office for someone to tell me to eat healthier and put a stethoscope on my back was an egregious waste of my time. Later on, I did a quick google search to make sure I wasn't going crazy: According to that quick google search (and my numerous past experiences) "During your physical exam, your doctor will evaluate your general overall appearance, and perform head, neck, abdominal, neurological, dermatological, and extremities exam. He will check for any abnormalities or signs of disease or illness." Did any of these things happen? No. Instead, a doctor (a different one than the one I booked with) offered a less-than-sufficient engagement. I walked out with little more than what I could've gained watching a Jenny Craig advertisement and a whole lot of frustration. Few times in my life have I left a purely negative review. Normally, I feel that companies deserve to be let off the hook because it's so easy to type away and ruin a reputation. I take this very very seriously and don't make the decision to leave a review like this lightly. -- My take on this is I would recommend people go elsewhere. This place already seems to have too many people to deal with and may not treat you respectfully.
