We stopped by after our hike today. The lady in the tasting room was so polite and wonderful. They are following Covid protocols; we paid inside and everything was brought out to our table. We had our two children 10 and 7 with us and brought our dog as well. The reserve flight was wonderful and couldn't resist buying two bottles!

Beautiful winery with great wines and beautiful tasting room. We enjoyed yummy paninis and a great flight of impressive wines. Looking forward to attending an event here soon, in summer they have great music venues!

(Doesn't have to be romantic; can also be fun with girlfriends!) This is an absolutely beautiful 3-bedroom home equipped with everything you can think of for a good time: full kitchen, dining area, patio with BBQ grill, fire pit, plenty of tables and chairs, and we even saw hammocks hanging on some trees! The rooms can be individually booked, or you can book all three for your friends and family. The home sits on a vineyard, so you get to taste their delicious wines. In the dining/living room area, you have access to games and a projector that is connected to Apple TV, so you can project a movie on the wall! How cool is that?! DANIEL gave us the best wine-tasting experience we have ever had. His explanations were thorough and very interesting. It went beyond the "peppery notes with hints of berries" descriptions you usually get at wineries. He explained the winemaking process because he has done it all, from planting grapes to making wine. And he was very kind and patient with all of our questions. And up the hill a little bit there is another home that they rent as well, and if it is vacant, you get full access to the pool! Another thing I appreciated now during covid is that the entire home was very clean! No carpet in the rooms (which makes it feel instantly cleaner already), the sheets smelled of fresh laundry detergent, and the shower was spotless. The rooms also have beautiful wooden patios. And then in the morning, we got a delicious hot breakfast by Gunay! She was so sweet and hospitable. On a sad note, they no longer have the llamas or sheep. But it is still a great experience! Also, don't be scared when you are following the GPS to arrive here! It's literally in the middle of no where! In conclusion to my short novel, we will definitely be returning with friends and enjoy all of the amenities!

But we were racing against time to reach a supposed tasting room before 5pm. We shouldn't have worried. The owner/winemaker at Noggle pours his wines out of the garage of his house. We knocked on his back door and a short time later we were drinking truly amazing cabernet sauvignon. Noggle is a one-man operation, a delightful, low key, interesting operation with what seems to be a cult following among other Lake County wine people. Everywhere we went those in the know were either recommending we go to Noggle or sharing their rave reviews. It was all justified. Take the trip down the long, windy road to find this place. Support a small business, and a passionate winemaker making fantastic stuff!

What a pleasure to be the first to review this gem!…read more Let me preface by saying that it's possible that I'm a little biased... as an owner of our own small family winery, I actively seek out other wineries that are like us. Knowing what a labor of love such an endeavor is, I always want to support the efforts of the little winery. Biased or not....let me tell you this.... Michael Noggle is making some truly outstanding wines! We tasted two Cabs and a Sauv Blanc. All three were truly top notch wines. I can only believe that such great wines are the pay-off that comes when you single handedly participate in every step of the winemaking process, from the planting of the vines all the way to bottling, the way that Michael does. We visited a couple of the better known Lake County wineries on this trip and while we tasted some pretty good wines all around, none of them held a candle to Noggle! The tasting room experience is also the way I belive it should be... small and intimate (you're basically tasting in his garage) and filled with great first-hand information from Michael himself. So please visit Noggle. Support the little guy....and in doing so, bring home some really fantastic wine. It's a win-win situation!

We did…read morea wine and olive oil tasting--wine tastings are $10 per person for 7 tastes, at 4 - 5 oz pours per wine. Amber guided our tasting, and she was super sweet and friendly! She let us each take our own pace through the tasting, and we all shared tasting notes/favourite aspects of the wine throughout the tasting. She gave us each chocolates, as well as ice cream drizzled with muscat-infused olive oil toward the end of the tasting--much appreciated and well-paired! I especially enjoyed the '21 Sauv Blanc and the '20 Orange Muscat dessert wine! They also make olive oil soaps and bath products from their olive oil harvests. I got the Rosemary Lemon soap, and the Seaweed soap (which smells like verbena and saltwater in the best way). Highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area! Thank you Amber! :)

The closest was Chancewater and it is also open 7 days a week as opposed to most places in the area that are only open during the weekend. There is plenty of parking and you walk into a bar area that is set up for tastings. But we decided to sit in the larger tasting area that has their wines, barrels etc. They also sell seasonal vegetables at the bar which is a nice touch. They offer olive oil tasting but I didn't want to mix wine and oil so we didn't try the olive oil but I will definitely go back for that. They had many olive oil products for sale - soap, lotions etc. We were greeted by 2 hostesses who offered us a choice to sit at the bar or the tasting room and we choose the tasting room, it had a better ambience. We went on a Tuesday late afternoon, just before they closed at 5pm and we had the place to ourselves. The tasting room has room for at least 50 people without it feeling crowded. You get a choice of 7 tastings for $15 and you can pick what you would like to taste and we picked all whites. We had the 3 white and rose, 2 reserve whites (chardonnay and Sav Blanc) and 2 sweet wines. I am not a fan of Sav Blanc or sweet wines but the ones we tasted were very good. Their chardonnay was well worth the trip by itself. The hostess was friendly and knowledgeable and very engaging. I took one star off for the pours, they were very minimal but delicious. I would highly recommend the place and look forward to the olive oil tasting as well next time!
