We did the 5 glasses of wine tasting and got the charcuterie board - everything was great. We ended up getting 6 bottles of wine because of how much we liked the rose! They are also really great with explaining everything about the wine, and they will let you retry anything you would like. The staff is very knowledgeable! You feel like royalty just being here because of how beautiful it is. My boyfriend's family has been here a lot and has always mentioned how beautiful it is. This was my first time and we will be back!

Remarkably beautiful and delicious wines. Thank you Sara for hosting us. Otw home we took the dirt road about 15 miles back to the Hwy. We had a jeep and a sense of adventure, and left at least an hour before sunset. All suggested if you want to do it. But it was So beautiful. .

The hidden Gem. As much as its an Indiana Jones Adventure traveling up HighValley Ranch Road to get to this gem. High Valley Ranch Area is spectacular - The grounds of Brassfields Estate is wonderful. The Customer Service is warm, welcoming, and well-trained! Loved the property, the tastings were a delight, so consider this, when reading reviews about wineries usually the authors are let's say savoring a glass in the moment. To be transparent I have not been back to the region for a couple years and I'm still thinking about their wines and environment. That is a wonderful impression to have. I'm a huge fan of Pinot Noir, Cabs and their Eruption was a pleasant Surprise The winemakers have truly elevated the game and made a lifelong fan from Las Vegas! Brassfields is a bucket list place to visit and savor on a wonderful mid-morning afternoon. Time not wasted but well invested and spent!!

This estate is absolutely gorgeous, I was absolutely amazed. I got started off with the flight that has 1 rose, 2 whites, and 2 reds. All were quite good, but the reds were my absolutely favorite, and I'm usually not a red wine fan. I got a glass of the pinot noir afterwards because it was so so good. Just wish I lived closer so I could come again soon!

What a lovely experience overall. I was visiting in the Clearlake area and was brought to Brassfield for a wine tasting experience (my first proper tasting at a winery, which shocks me to even write). It was a warm day with a consistent breeze and sitting in the shade was quite lovely. Caroline was an absolute peach of a host and wine-tender and made our experience that much more special. The wine was DELICIOUS. Literally didn't taste anything I didn't like. I ended up buying two bottles and bringing them home. The charcuterie board was 10/10. The presentation deserved an award and we ate every last bite. If I didn't live so far away, I'd want to bring guests here often. If you're in the area, don't hesitate, this is an absolute must if you're into wine, food, and a beautiful environment!

This winery is very beautiful. And there wine is very good. There service was good. The tasting is 20. I'm not normally a white wine fan but the serenity is really good I bought two bottles for the summer. I would of liked to try more red wine but we just bought them to take home. We enjoyed the warm baguette with olive oil and balsamic. I called ahead to see if we can bring food too and so we brought some local olives.

Beautiful place lots of time was taken in the appearance (gardens, grounds, etc) . Wines are good and the staff are trained and ever so pleasant.

We love this winery. The grounds are beautiful, and the wines are excellent. Caroline is a lovely person who helped us navigate our tasting, which encouraged us to decide to join their club. Now we have the benefits of members, including discounts. We enjoyed our tasting so much, we returned 2 days later and got a bottle of their delicious sauvingnon blanc and a yummy charcuterie.

Amazing setting and story! Hard to create such beauty and excellent wines... and I am NOT a wi e snob... worth the visit. IF you get near... come visit!

This winery was simply beautiful and amazing to experience. What a hidden gem. The staff was so informal on everything they had to offer. The wines, the food and the experience here was everything we could of asked for! Thank you for an amazing time.

Sarah saying she basically hates kids
    Nicole F.

If you are looking for a family friendly winery to spend the day in the sun with your kids and sip on some wine this place is definitely not where you want to go. Sarah says that only well behaved kids are aloud here. So if you have a toddler or any child that cry's, don't bother on coming or Sarah will kick you out. Not sure what "family friendly" means to this company. But they don't allow your kids to be kids. ABORT MISSION GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Sad

But we were racing against time to reach a supposed tasting room before 5pm. We shouldn't have worried. The owner/winemaker at Noggle pours his wines out of the garage of his house. We knocked on his back door and a short time later we were drinking truly amazing cabernet sauvignon. Noggle is a one-man operation, a delightful, low key, interesting operation with what seems to be a cult following among other Lake County wine people. Everywhere we went those in the know were either recommending we go to Noggle or sharing their rave reviews. It was all justified. Take the trip down the long, windy road to find this place. Support a small business, and a passionate winemaker making fantastic stuff!

What a pleasure to be the first to review this gem!…read more Let me preface by saying that it's possible that I'm a little biased... as an owner of our own small family winery, I actively seek out other wineries that are like us. Knowing what a labor of love such an endeavor is, I always want to support the efforts of the little winery. Biased or not....let me tell you this.... Michael Noggle is making some truly outstanding wines! We tasted two Cabs and a Sauv Blanc. All three were truly top notch wines. I can only believe that such great wines are the pay-off that comes when you single handedly participate in every step of the winemaking process, from the planting of the vines all the way to bottling, the way that Michael does. We visited a couple of the better known Lake County wineries on this trip and while we tasted some pretty good wines all around, none of them held a candle to Noggle! The tasting room experience is also the way I belive it should be... small and intimate (you're basically tasting in his garage) and filled with great first-hand information from Michael himself. So please visit Noggle. Support the little guy....and in doing so, bring home some really fantastic wine. It's a win-win situation!

The closest was Chancewater and it is also open 7 days a week as opposed to most places in the area that are only open during the weekend. There is plenty of parking and you walk into a bar area that is set up for tastings. But we decided to sit in the larger tasting area that has their wines, barrels etc. They also sell seasonal vegetables at the bar which is a nice touch. They offer olive oil tasting but I didn't want to mix wine and oil so we didn't try the olive oil but I will definitely go back for that. They had many olive oil products for sale - soap, lotions etc. We were greeted by 2 hostesses who offered us a choice to sit at the bar or the tasting room and we choose the tasting room, it had a better ambience. We went on a Tuesday late afternoon, just before they closed at 5pm and we had the place to ourselves. The tasting room has room for at least 50 people without it feeling crowded. You get a choice of 7 tastings for $15 and you can pick what you would like to taste and we picked all whites. We had the 3 white and rose, 2 reserve whites (chardonnay and Sav Blanc) and 2 sweet wines. I am not a fan of Sav Blanc or sweet wines but the ones we tasted were very good. Their chardonnay was well worth the trip by itself. The hostess was friendly and knowledgeable and very engaging. I took one star off for the pours, they were very minimal but delicious. I would highly recommend the place and look forward to the olive oil tasting as well next time!
