I was handed over the required sticky socks, and was led to where all shoes were kept, and the wonderful salt room! I was lucky to have the room to myself! It was 45 minutes in the room and because I knew I was probably going to be alone I brought a journal to write in! I really focused on my breathing while I was here, got up to walk around a little, and would go in between writing and laying my head back. I was also given a linen blanket which was nice and added a good cozy feel. After my session was done, I felt my breathing to be more open, my skin very soft, and I was in such a relaxed state. The prices are heavy, but depending on what insurance you have it could be comparable to what you're paying already as a co-pay. I believe the very first visit is $300 unless it's a sick visit. Sick visits are $125 with a $50 deposit. You will get dinged if you don't cancel it in the 24 hours of your appointment. Overall, we saw Dr. Kirk and she was also the one who picked up the phone and scheduled us initially. She was great. Very wise, offered an action plan and also a Plan B if that didn't work out for for us. She was very kind and gentle with my son.
