This D-I-V-E is delish!! Cactus Grill was close to my hotel and it was taco Tuesday. I ended up getting the Chipotle Chicken taco salad. If we had this place in Atlanta, I would never get taco salad anywhere else. The chicken was excellent, perfectly seasoned. There was more chicken than lettuce! And the shell! It was light and crispy, the perfect accompaniment to the spicy salsa! I planned on leaving the shell, but I just couldn't. I ate the whole thing. I will definitely be back! I do recommend take out. Honestly one of the best quick meals that I really enjoy. I go there a lot. The same few guys are usually working and whip the food up quick. They have a $4.99 daily deal that always hits the spot and their honey grilled chicken oh honey don't get me started That and their steak quesadillas are my regular. Chips and guac is a must you get a monster guac thing so you don't run out I hate when I run out of guac. There fish burrito is good too load up on the special fishy sauce I like it. The tacos are good too. Man everything is good and you should just check this spot out. I don't really mess with the delivery cause it takes like 30 minutes and you can be in and out in 5. You can win a free burrito at the gumball machine but I'm currently 0 for like 100 so not likely. This is my favorite place to get takeout. Cactus Grill had become a part of my weekly routine since discovering their honey grilled chicken years ago. You cannot go wrong with any of their tacos, burritos or quesadillas. My favorite part about Cactus Grill is how fresh everything tastes. Quick, inexpensive, delicious!! I eat there too much to leave an unbiased review. But their lunch specials never disappoint. Try any item with the chipotle sauce instead of salsa, add some guacamole, grilled peppers and onions, and you shall feast like the kings of old. Always leaves me full and satisfied. And yes, I've eaten there so often that I've encountered undercooked beans and overcooked meats more than once. But if this concerns you, you can ask to see the food items before you decide what to order. Has one of the widest varieties of options for varieties for a burrito chain I've even been to. I love that they have tofu as an option but I also can get fish tacos if I'm feeling that. The daily special's are a plus, which made lunch here affordable. They also do free or $1 burrito day which is AWESOME. Good quality food, decent prices, and the management is fantastic. While the food is good, the delivery times are a joke. I was stuck at home without a car so I figured I'd order in. Ordered around 6:30, Grub Hub said delivery would be around 7:30 when I ordered, but immediately after I logged out I got a text saying that the delivery would be between 7:45 and 7:55. Then, at 8:00, I received another text saying that it would be there between 8:10 and 8:20. It showed up around 8:15. The driver had several other orders in his bag. If you can't accommodate delivery, don't offer it. I'm pretty sure that my order got pushed back in order to save trips. The food was tasty, but only warm by the time it arrived. I'll still go in and order to-go (which takes literally 2 minutes to get in and out if there is no line), but I'll never order delivery again. 1 hour and 45 minutes for food that is in steam trays? I order delivery from Cactus Grill via Grub Hub multiple times a month. It is always delicious and their chips and salsa are seriously the best. The delivery is also usually within an hour. I ordered from them yesterday and my order was a little late (over an hour). They called to explain they were running behind because Neil Street was flooded. They apologized and offered a free drink for our inconvenience. I appreciate and respect that they let me know why they would be late. I will continue ordering from them! read more

My order was canceled when I did not ask for it to be canceled. I had called about a long delivery time, inquired about the process of canceling if I wanted to, which I then told him I would call myself if I had wanted to cancel. The worker then called EatStreet to cancel for me without a confirmation from me. The worker that I had spoken to then lied to the owner when i called to ask why my food was never delivered, saying I had asked him to cancel for me when this was not the case. The owner proceeded to speak in a very condescending tone to me and said he could do nothing because he had a cancelation form in front of him. I will not be returning to this restaurant. Very very poor service and the owner was extremely rude when I tried to speak to him about how frustrated I was about this experience. read more

I liked this place. The food was tasty and the prices fair. I did notice a couple of times I felt a bit sick to my stomach afterward. Once the local health department started posting inspection results and closed the place down I stopped eating there. It still has bad inspection results on a regular basis. I hate giving poor reviews, but I'm sorry they do not even meet the mediocre test here. I only have 30 minutes for lunch and was going to Subway, but saw Cactus Grill next door. I decided to give it a try since I'd never been. The place was very clean, the people were friendly. I ordered the honey grilled chicken taco (with everything on it), and a side of the spanish rice. The chicken was overcooked, tasted very processed, and dry. The mild salsa they put on it was too sweet and not salsa-y enough (maybe needed more of a tomato flavor). The rice was very dry (almost to the point of being hard/undercooked) and tasted like a mixture of liquid smoke and black licorice. I could only take 3 forkfuls of the rice (the first time it was horrible, but I thought it was maybe a bad bite. I tried twice more after drinking some water to no avail). I could only take about half of the taco before throwing it in the trash. Based on my first experience, I can't say that I'll be returning, even though there are hardly any options on Neil street for fast casual restaurants. Their prices also seem a bit high $2.45 for one taco. I will definitely be sticking with Subway in the future. I'm sorry this place didn't meet my expectations because I love Mexican food and all the variations of it (Tex-Mex, etc). We definitely need more options on Neil street. read more

Great food, I've spent plenty of money with them unfortunately good things come to an end. I ordered a burrito, chips, a cup of nacho cheese and a cup of salsa. After an hour I called to check if my order had went through. There was a problem with grubhub's system, understandably this is something out of Cactus Grill's control I ordered with them directly under the affirmation that Grubhub would fix the payment side of things on their end and was given a delivery time of 45 minutes give or take. Fast forward an hour and a half and one more call to make sure my food was actually coming. Got my bag, I'm happy looking forward to a good meal. I open it up and the burrito is completely wrong and COLD in addition, 2 cups of guacamole over salsa and cheese? Would not recommend ordering from here, go for it if you can pick it up definitely, but otherwise I'd look elsewhere. It's one thing if there are obstacles out of you're control interfering with operations it's a whole other to bring the wrong food ESPECIALLY COLD. read more
