Been coming here for a few years now with my college aged kids. Consistently has been great for the drinks, food and service. Naturally it can get quite busy during dinner times. The Ziosk tablets are great and easy to use. Family friendly as always. Clean tables and bathrooms. read more

Asked for a specific drink without something and was told they couldn't do that. The waiter said it in a very rude way as well. Also leaned over our food which is disgusting and rude. We sat there waiting to pay because he couldn't figure out which pay tablet was ours. read more

Brooke was our server last night. She was wonderful. She took great care of us. The restaurant was slammed busy (Friday night and a game night) and so we had to wait for our burgers. Brooke told the manager, Sarah, that we'd been waiting a while for our meal. Sarah brought our burgers and comped one of our burger meals. WE LOVE eating at Chili's in Champaign and probably eat there once a week or every 10 days. This was the first time we've ever had a delay with our meal and we will be coming back. It's not their fault that someone called in a to-go order for 30 burger and a bunch of other meals. We're retired so we were just fine sitting and visiting while we waited. Thanks, Brooke and Sarah! So when you order a rare burger and it comes out burnt. I have issues with this on so many levels. One. Why? Two when you have runners do they even know what you ordered? Let's start this by saying, I used to love chillis, local to me closed down. So when we seen this one with a biggg Togo I was like it has to be good! Champaign lacks hospitality in general from what I've experienced. Our server tonight, nice gal. Her fam came in right after we were sat, her attention quickly was focused on them. Asking us how our food was right after it was set down and not asked again. The rice was beyond its point of servable. Hard and underdone, but stall and sitting for a bit. They don't trim asparagus, bout choked on the strings from it. The bathrooms were disgusting. Overall probably wouldn't visit this location based on service and bathroom cleanliness. I haven't been to Chilis in over two years because my last experience was not so great. However, the quality of the food has improved greatly. Chilies in Champaign Il. Took Dh and I out to lunch with a gift card we had. Wanted to like it at Chili's and did like what I had but why does the entire menu (practically) have to be Tex-Mex? Husband had steak, mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. Steak fine as ordered and tender I had a house salad as they did not have a chicken tender salad which I would ave preferred. Portions were adequate. Service was very nice just enough attention with out hovering. Typical traditional Chilies decor of course. For stars for not including move entrée salad choices. read more

Well I chose Chili's today. The server was nice. A guy don't know his name but everything was cool. I ordered the ribeye with broccoli and asparagus and a side salad. There wasn't any I was thinking of adding a full order of the grilled shrimp. The salad came and it was old. 2 sides of ranch. Wilted un appetizing, wasn't going to waste my time, on old lettuce. Saw a manager doing table checks, went to the host stand looked around and walked back to the kitchen. Doesn't seem to engaged. No one has come to check on me or my salad. Server went by my table looked didn't say anything. Brought me another ice tea. Still didn't ask me about my salad. Steak came my fork was dirty, I sat there while the manager was talking to another table making plans. He finally came over. I have him the wilted salad. Asked for a clean fork. I told him I would have ordered the shrimp if I was offered. My food was Luke warm after waiting for new silverware. The steak has good flavor, broccoli was well seasoned as well as the asparagus. As I cut further into the steak it was over cooked. My honest review of Chili's is it is typical chain fair. Food was ok. Certainly could have been better, there was no WOW factor. For service, it was sub par, the server whose name I never got, was more attentive to other tables. His check back needs work. His upselling needs a lot of work. The manager ran away when I said I do not want my meal discounted and never came back The lunch experience was less than mediocre. I haven't been to Chili's in over a year, because of the service. I did give the server some advise about checking back and upselling. Based on this experience I probably won't be back to Chili's in a while. read more

We're in town for a work trip. Came on a Wednesday evening. Got two chicken crisper dinners, two burgers, and a kids meal. We got guacamole - which tasted weird upon arrival. However, they took it back immediately and send queso out in its place. All food was delicious. Waitress and other staff was amazing. If our waitress was busy with another table, there was a young gentleman with braids that was busting his tail to pick up everyone else's slack! Absolutely horrible services. Went in to have a few cocktails. We sat there for at least 5 minutes if not longer. Bartender finally came over and said I'll be right back. Then after a while he came back with silverware and menus. We said we just wanted to have a couple of drinks. He gave us a strange look and asked what we wanted to drink. We told him what we wanted and he turned around walked away and said I'll be right back, and started making some other drinks for other people. While we were sitting there waiting for someone to wait on us a bartender continued to wash dishes while we sat there waiting and waiting and waiting for somebody to get our order. This is a pretty decent Chili's. The food at all Chili's locations are the same so you know what you're getting going into this. We came around 2pm with a large party of 7. I was happy to find that we didn't have to wait at all to be seated. I had the chips and salsa for an appetizer and the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich for my appetizer. All the food I had was good. Service was also prompt. Our waiter checked on us often and was quick with refills. I would come back to this location if I was wanting Chili's again in the future. read more

Restaurant review Lunch combo time 6-7-8, quite inexpensive but I can't say that I was particularly enthralled by the food. I was shocked to see people take a few bites of their food and just leave it. It must have been that bad I guess. I ended up with the loaded baked potato soup that was somehow cold... Bacon Avocado Chicken Sandwich followed which I was shocked to see that it was half size for the lunch special. Very thinly cut avocado. All and all this was a below par meal. On top of that our server was not all too friendly trying to upsell drinks which we did not want. She came twice once to drop the food off and once again to bring us the bill. Sooooo I ordered take out. It took them 30 minutes to bring me Cold Buffalo chicken. Mashed potatoes that might as well have been mashed onions with all the little green pieces covering the top like the grass of a sod house. I also ordered the molten lava cake. I've been going to Chili's for many years and then the last year it went downhill terribly. Today at the end of my meal I found a big black hair in my food. When I complain to the waitress she laughs and says oh you got extra. I thought that was very unprofessional. When I complained they only deducted six dollars from my mail which should've been free because I sure didn't order it with hair. So between my experience in the comment the waitress made I will never be back. Really would like to give it zero stars read more

Went here yesterday and had a good time. We always come to this Chili's while in Champaign. We've been here about 10-15 times over the past 8 or so years. Never disappoints. I only gave it a 4 star today because the burger patty could have been bigger. Also the blossom pedal order was small for the money. Everything else was great. Our drinks from the bar were very good and the food was good. Our server Dane was very nice and was very attentive. We'll definitely be back next time we are in town. I know it's a chain but the service is excellent and the food is too. read more
