The best affordable tacos in town! I love coming here after class since it's right down the street from campus, and ordering their steak tacos. Yum!!! I ordered delivery through UberEats because I'm just passing through town. I orders a burrito pastor and a burrito with chicken, and a steak quesadilla along with chips and salsa so that if I hated something I'd have backup options. It was late and restaurants were closing. Homemade chips! Homemade salsa! Possibly homemade tortillas?! Everything was delicious! I just took a couple bites of everything and wished I had more chips and salsa! When I went here I had trouble finding it because the sign on the building hadn't been updated yet. I don't pass by it much, so I can't say if it actually says "Mo's" yet or not. I had the Torta Cubana and there was So Much Food on my plate. It was late at night and I was meeting a friend here. The counter staff must have thought we were on a date because he led us too a booth and served us like we were at a sit-down place instead of a counter-serve diner. The food is delicious, although if your tastes run towards more Americanized meals like Chipotle or Fiesta, you might not like it as much. Great place to stop for lunch on a busy day. If the food truck, which I prefer, wasn't right around the corner, I'd come far more often. 4 star's because it was kinda hard to find. read more

This taco truck is sadly not up to the hype. After reading reviews my family thought they would be good, but the food was lacking. The vegetarian nachos had zucchini and mushrooms on them which would have been okay if there was salsa on the nachos, but instead it was only covered in sour cream with hardly any chips. The tacos were mostly sour cream and cheese. The tomatoes on everything were tasteless. There were some good things. The beef cheek taco was pretty good. I just stumbled across this place while visiting Champaign. We carried out a few tacos and some guacamole. Admittedly I wasn't really sure what I ordered but it was all awesome. We got a variety of tacos. All excellent! The guac was also great. The sauces served in the side were super tasty and one was really spicy. This is a real mo frills "joint." Didn't leave me wanting "Mo." Convincingly the worst "Mexican food" I've ever had. Guess we should've more closely reviewed the Health Score & this restaurant's health code violations. Ordered chicken quesadilla, received "chorizo" quesadilla, soaked in reddish orange grease & filled with "chorizo" too-spicy presumably to hide the cheap-tasting filler/meat & lack of cheese. The food was excellent as was the service. My campechano items were quite greasy, but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. I was pleased with the flavor and authenticity of the restaurant and their dishes. But, I thought their serving sizes were a little on the small side. Normally, I appreciate this since I don't tend to eat a full American portion. However, when the food authentically reminded me of the food in Mexico at twice the price for half of the food, it was hard not to make that comparison, not matter how unfair it is. We had carry-out tacos, burrito and pork tamale. The meat we had in them was pork, steak and ground beef (separately on flour tortillas). Thought the steak had excellent flavor. Ordered traditional/Mexican style with onions, cilantro and added lettuce then put hot sauce on em. Liked both red and Verde sauce. The authentic tamale was a tad dry. No. No. And no. First the cooking oil is abysmal. When is the last time the fryer oil was changed? Why do the chips smell off? The oil makes the food smell terrible. Second. Absolutely love this place. Delicious every time, just like the food truck. Chicken is absolutely perfectly cooked every time, most Mexican style chicken tacos are dry and bland compared to this place. Multiple different types of tamales that are also some of the best I've ever had. Great and fast service every time of course. Tried and never going back ordered a quesadilla charged 10 dollars got the quesadilla in a brown paper bag. Everything was put inside of it even rice and beans I thought they should come on side. The tacos were pretty good and cheap. The tortillas were a bit bland and I wish the tacos were a bit bigger (I got 4 and was not really full), but it was a good experience overall. The horchata was also pretty good, and worth the money considering its size. read more
