This was our first time checking out Caddy Shack. It's just down the street from us and we've been wanting to try it. It has lots of seating and tvs so great for watching games. I'm always skeptical of food at sports bars but I was pleasantly surprised by Caddy Shack. We had the chips and guac and then my husband had the flautas, while I had two of their specialty tacos- the Korean beef and chile relleno. I loved the green medium salsa that came with the chips, and the green sauce with the flautas was also quite good with a kick. The specialty tacos were both really good, but my favorite was the chile relleno. Very impressed! We'll definitely be back. read more

We had a great Father's Day dinner there recently. Dads choice! For those that were familiar with the Lone Tree location of Brewery Bar, you will find the burritos and fried Chili Rellenos very very similar. The atmosphere is a typical sports bar atmosphere, a little noisy. Wait staff is attentive, and the food and green chili is great. For those golf buffs, there is even a golf simulator inside. Location is a little hard to spot . While it is in the shopping center with the closed Lone Tree movie theaters, it is on the end facing east, with none on the other restaurants on that side. It's definitely worth searching it out. read more

Fun place to hang out for happy hours! Really loud music though so hard to hear anything. Our server was sweet and service was prompt. We ordered guacamole and chips for appetizer, beef fajita and chili rellenos. We also ordered orange dream for drink and that was very strong so if that's your thing, this is your place! We arrived a few minutes after 12 noon. I believe this used to be another "golfing" place called Time to Swing. So maybe that explains the guys swinging their clubs on a virtual green. Maybe the new owners liked that but also enjoyed serving Mexican food. The bar was pretty loud, seemed to get louder as the time went by. The sign said to pick a table and have a seat. About 5 minutes later, someone was bringing us menus. We decided on the chips with the salsa flight, fajitas, and some chicken enchiladas. Chips took about 10 minutes to get out. The entrées took another 20 minutes so if time is not on your side, I would not pick this restaurant. The food was pretty good, better than I anticipated for the place actually. Really liked the atmosphere. Fun little sports bar. The wings were not as hot as I expected, got the reaper wings and I was expecting to get the hiccups but they were lacking. Great new restaurant in the Park Meadows/Lone Tree area. It's tucked kinda in a hard to see place, and has a sports bar vibe, but the food was excellent as was the service! I remember the predecessor business, Reeds Southside Tavern. I don't know when that business folded and this new Caddy Shack Cantina started to take over the location. It can't be that long as the outdoor signage up above the main entrance still looks temporary. I checked the current ratings of this place before I utilized it for the first time just yesterday (I attended a networking event here.) It looked promising (as it had 4.5 stars.) The day after, I am writing this review and with my utmost honesty, this may possibly bring down its reputation to 3.5 as I can only give this place 2 stars based on my experience last night. The inside is nice and clean. Like the last business, the golf simulator is still there (as long as I can recollect, Reeds had the same thing or if it was something different then whatever it was got replaced by the golf thing but I'm almost certain that it was a golf simulator.) The bar area (unlike how Reeds set up the area), this new place has it more open without any clutter. The displayed bottles on the bar wall are nicely lit with dimmed lights to create some sort of a high end bar feel which I quite fancy/fancied. Now the service....this guy who assisted us was the most scatterbrained waiter I've ever encountered at any place. 10 of us in the group didn't show up at one time (we showed up gradually after 5:30pm and the last one showed up no later than 6:15 or so.) He could have left a few menus on the table as he knew it was a group of gathering but he kept taking our menus away each time one of us or some of us ordered. On top of that, he could only take one order at a time so once he got one order from one person he hurriedly left our table to place it with the kitchen (even though some other person was trying to get his attention but he - as if to say that he intentionally and completely ignored him or her - simply left without acknowledging him/her.) And he repeatedly did this (again and again). Could he not use a note pad and a pen to jot down all of our orders at one time or a few times instead? How inefficient! I wasn't super hungry so I got me one of the specialty tacos (Korean Beef one). Good size for the price of $6. Whereas it wasn't impressively good it wasn't bad either. Maybe this is the reason why I'm not giving this place 1 star?? LOL! Well, in conclusion, I shall say that let's give this place a little more time to organize. It needs to grow in many ways; it might take time. I might be back but not in the near future. ***One last note: I utilized one of the unisex restrooms. Let me start with the food, we had wings and burgers. Very very good some of the better bar food you can have. Highly recommended. Drinks (margaritas) very good also. Drinks and food 9 out of 10. Now let's get to the customer service. Walking in the sign says seat yourself. Party of three so we did as the sign said and sat ourselves. The table we found open was between tables beside us and behind us and in front of us with an older waitress serving them. So I assumed that she would be our waitress. Guess I assumed wrong, I attempted to get her attention several times and she purposely ignored us. I hope it wasn't because it was a table of one black and two Latinos. After approximately 20 minutes of this lady ignoring us and serving the tables around us I went to the bar to get some customer service. Again several workers treated me like I was invisible and ignored me. I finally got the attention of a waitress (Michaela). I asked her if we could get us some service at our table . Michaela was awesome and came to the table shortly and was great with the service she provided. So thank you Michaela for treating us with respect. Even thought the food was awesome I will never be back. I felt like it was a restaurant/bar in the deep South that didn't want black and brown people in their establishment. read more

Found this little hideaway this weekend. A solid little place for margaritas and some Mexican food. Not sure about the whole golf theme but the food was good and very flavorful. Service a bit slow, but responsive and friendly. Bar and dining are all mixed together so a bit loud, not for quiet dining. read more

nice ambiance and quite slow n quiet for a sunday early afternoon. clean place. kitchen staff must have been hung over or half asleep bc they 1) didn't get the wings order right. we ordered 2 flavors- 6 wings each, kitchen sent 12 of the same flavor. 2) i ordered a burger medium, got it well done. mentioned it to the server and she was unfazed & said/did nothing the flavor of said wings was soooo good! crispy, warm, tender inside. happy tongue n tummy here. the burger sucked -flavorless n overcooked. the tacos were quite flavorful n deelish. we likey. next time we will try the golf simulator, too hungry prior and too big of a to-do list afterwards to fit it in. may give it another try, but i really don't like returning to a place where instructions aren't heeded and mo one cares to make it right. read more

3rd time was not a charm. Sunday afternoon, fairly slow. Grabbed a seat greeted by a tall young man. Brought us a glass of ice water and a glass of ice. We waited 20 minutes to order while our "waiter" sat down at a 2 top with two older gentlemen. Proceeds to scroll through his phone, grabs couple of menus and brings them back to the 2 gentlemen. Caddy Shack Cantina I wish I could give better; however, hear me out. This is your local bar that someone made their dream come true to have their friends come hang out and get "cheap" food. The drinks, holy moooo, damn good thing I wasn't driving. I had the Pink Caddy small. I took a breath and all my husband could smell was booze. If you're out to get hammered, here's your place. My husband had a Dr. Pepper but tasted grenadine in the cup and stopped drinking. For food if you're celiac, watch yourself. The sauces are marked, kind of. One that says gluten free is actually not. All the chips are fried in the morning in the oil before anything else hits. But!!! No guarantee that the oil is fresh. Cross contamination is a for sure thing. We ordered the Bushwood nachos with steak. The refried beans tasted just like Rosa Rita that you get at your local super market. No additional seasoning to hide the can. Jalapeños were cut inconsistently. The beans seriously scooped up and popped on the chips. I will say the steak had a good flavor. As you can see in the photo everything was piled on top and came out, lukewarm. The place needs to figure out its identity. Golf course??? Mexican cantina??? American food??? Maybe cleanliness???? A large dog has no problem being in (no service vest on) here with trash on the floor, aka candy rapers from the movie theater. I'm usually up for a redo on a restaurant, but I value my health. First off, for the OG's out there... this is the place for breaded wings, and oh my, try the baked flash-fried wing. Second, this is a Colorado bar, all rules apply. If you are native or have lived here for a while, you know to expect...they are dog friendly. This place is incredible for getting great food and a quick simulator-they have two bays. We were looking for something a little different in a Mexican restaurant and thought Caddy Shack sounded fun. The remodeled interior is OK. The bar half is nice, with a beautiful bar and nice tables. But the other half, where the golf simulators are, was not quite as nice and the TVs were so high we couldn't easily watch (we were there hoping to watch sports). Other than the restaurant itself, there were two main high/low points. While the menu looked very ho-hum, the food was AMAZING! Every plate we got was delicious and we enjoyed all of it! On the other hand, the (house) margaritas were extremely watery and did nothing for us. The downside to the good food was the slightly ridiculous prices. We're used to paying higher prices these days, but $23 for a plate of 3 street tacos and a side of rice/beans? That's a little over the top. As I noticed with many other reviews, the service is what tanks this place. There were only 3 tables when we were there and we still had to flag down our server (the bartender) every single time we needed something, whether it was a refill, a box, our check, etc. All in all, she just didn't pay any attention to us. We also noticed that she and another (maybe off duty) server frequently sat down together at a bar table and just appeared to be hanging out. We mostly enjoyed our visit, but won't return and probably wouldn't recommend it to others. read more

The food was super good too! I had a shrimp speciality taco that was perfectly done.
