nice, newish location with fair amount of parking. the dining room if significantly larger than the original restaurant in GV, plus the covered and colorful outdoor space offers additional seating. the salsa bar is great bc we can grab what we want and need without concern about constantly requesting more sliced lime (guilty!) or being stuck with one or two salsas. we can try them all. the staff is friendly and the menu is oh-so-tempting. you really wanna order one of everything! we held back and had tacos, the machete (18" long birria taco) and a birria (barnacoa) torta. the trio of tacos included shrimp, birria, & al pastor. the shrimp had a rather interesting flavor to it, one in which would ensure that we didn't order again. everything else was - minus the machete - spot on and exactly what we expect from this fine establishment. i believe that due to the length of the machete, the taste and texture is compromised. it was still very good, but not quesabirria like- it was more crunchy taco like. i guess size DOES matter in certain situations! regardless, it was packed with flavor, crunchy, and i loved the crispy edges! the consomme was the only weak item. typically, it isn't so watery, has some bits of meat in there, & is packed with flavor. no biggie, bc it's not a main course, but that's what we had today. good turnaround was quick and the restaurant was very clean. we went at a time - after 1:30 - where it was pretty quiet, but it began to pick up by the time we were leaving. highly recommend this and the GV location. parker venalonzos - we are coming your way!

Taco Tuesday!!! I was so excited for it to be taco Tuesday and to be in the area to try Venalonzo's. They have a 3 taco for $8 deal + drink. They're also very well known for their quesabirria so, naturally I had to add that to my order. You can choose between the carnitas, chicken or Al pastor tacos and I ordered 2 Al pastor and 1 carnitas. The place is a little cozy and I could see it being quite tight if it got any busier. However, the tables turned fairly quickly and people were able to order and sit. There is outdoor seating available which is perfect for summer. I got my order in about 5-10min. They have a little salsa bar. They had some spicy sautéed onions I was curious about along with 2 different green salsas I decided to combine. The one in the squirt bottle is not spicy at all. There's a creamier green salsa with a ladle and that has a mild spice to it. I ended up adding all 3 options to my tacos and the flavors were absolutely divine. The carnitas was tender and the Al pastor was crispy and perfectly charred. The quesabirria was crispy and packed with meat. It soaked up the flavorful consomme well. I could've eaten a few more of these! This will definitely be a new taco spot for me.

After being introduced to the most delicious birria tacos at a Yelp Event last summer, I have been hooked! Having visited their small Centennial location, I was beyond excited to see this new location, super close to home!! This brand-spanking-new space is larger than it appears on the outside and filled with a variety of seating (and patio!!), brightly colored flags, a full bar and smiley faces behind the counter. Staff is friendly, welcoming and provide great recommendations off their massive menu. I came for the birria tacos, but my tune changed when I saw the Birria pizza on the menu overhead. A massive birria taco (cut 8 ways), topped with allllllll the fixings with a side of consommé. YUM! We also got an order of mango hot wings which came with a side of fries. The food came out relatively quickly, was pretty in presentation and tasted delicious! Messy AF but so good! We ended up eating pizza with a fork to catch all the delicious ingredients. The consommé is the perfect consistency, delicious in flavor and perfect for dunking - although the pizza was a flimsier than the tacos. Pricing is on point for the quantity and quality, and I will easily return!

Their al pastor tacos are as good as any I've had in Mexico! These tacos are well priced, flavorful, and the red and green sauce are superb. These tacos asada and carnitas tacos were average to me, so next time I pop in I'll just get three of their fire al pastor! The staff were awesome, the cooks were quick, and the restaurant was clean.

Having been to the Venalonzo's off of Yosemite and Arapahoe, I thought I'd give this Venalonzo's a try. Again, equally as delicious as the other! This location is a bit bigger in size and can fit more customers that decide to eat in. Service is of course stellar as one would predict. Venalonzo's has been at a couple of YELP YES events in the past year and I enjoy when I can go to the business in person. Asada and chicken tacos for the win! The pickled onions (on the tacos already) are a tasty topping to these tacos! This Venalonzo's has just barely moved in to this new location. While still a bit under construction, it is a very relaxing place to enjoy your meal! Will be back for sure!

I'm so happy Venalonzo's Tacos opened a location in Lone Tree! The restaurant is very spacious and has a great atmosphere, with a beautiful outdoor patio and bar area that's perfect for enjoying a meal or drinks with friends. The service was excellent, friendly, efficient, and smooth from start to finish. The quesabirria tacos were the highlight for me. They were incredibly juicy, packed with flavor, and perfectly crunchy on the outside. Absolutely delicious! I also tried the breakfast burrito, which was loaded with eggs, meat, cheese, and potatoes. It was hearty, satisfying, and full of flavor. Overall, a great addition to the Lone Tree dining scene. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Amazing and prompt service! Really enjoyed their consume that paired very well with the quesabirria tacos. The Al pastor was very flavorful and carnitas were juicy. Great selection of salsas and vegetables to add to your tacos. Margaritas were excellent and on the sweeter side. Easy parking and conveniently nearby Sam's Club. Great music and lots of TV screens to watch games. Would definitely come back!

Ordered their new ramen soup dish and the Mac n cheese balls. They're really good! I just wish they had flour tortillas as an option for tacos.

Was running errands on this side of town and was pleasantly surprised to see that a new Venalonzo's Tacos had opened up in the area! This location is bigger and way less crowded than the one on Yosemite. (I am sure once the word gets out, it will be crowded. They have only been open for a few months.) Same great quality of food and service as the original. A fresh salsa bar with all the fixings is easier to access. Plenty of seating, both indoors and outside on a side patio.

Large selection of Mexican dishes. They are on Yelp's Top 100 in the Southwest. This is their newest location. Nice colorful and well lit space. I started with a Birria taco and 3 street tacos (Carnitas, Barbacoa and Chorizo). They brought out two salsas. There is a separate salsa and condiments bar. I added a no-salt rim Mango Margarita. Nice strong drink with the sweetness of Mango. I was served by Nati M. She gave me time to make my choices. All fresh. I was still hungry. I got 8 hot wings with Mango Habanero with fries. I got a 2nd drink, a Strawberry Margarita. I was served by Angel V. The Mango was better. He said they also have Spicy Cucumber, Guava & Watermelon flavors. The wings and fries were hot. I noticed that they have desserts. So lots of future choices.

False advertising right off the bat. On top of that, they can't show up on time. Both times I've waited on them, they rolled in hours late. One football Sunday they didn't even arrive until 2:40 PM... when games start around 11 AM. Not exactly a reliable partner for breweries trying to host customers. Now for the food: honestly, it's nothing like the pictures online. It comes out looking sloppy and unappetizing. Against our better judgment, my friends and I ordered anyway -- and all of us got sick. This wasn't a one-off either. Both times I ate from this truck, I got sick. That's a major red flag. The owners themselves are nice people, but the product and execution are unacceptable. At this point, the health department really needs to step in and inspect this truck because something isn't right. They also have a brick & mortar restaurant in Lone Tree, but after two bad experiences, I won't be going anywhere near it. If I see this truck at a brewery again, I'll be eating somewhere else.

Authentic, homemade, flavorful, inventive and delicious food! The owner, who stopped by our table to check on us and chat, is from Mexico City and brought all the flavors of Mexico to Colorado and I'm glad he did. Good food, good music, good service. Not sure what else you need?! On the small downside, yes it is a little more costly than other places. I think part of that is the location, Lone Tree being in a wealthier part of Douglas County.
