The only thing my child didn't like was the bus ride each day to & from our local YMCA, since I think it was about 30-40 minutes. They also have a facebook page and post pics of the camper activities daily so you can get a feel for whats going on.

I like the fact that they prepare them for regular school and theolder they get they get to wear uniforms and each classroom is different and handle things according to age. They did not call to notify us she was injured. Instead she sat in pain until normal pick up time for us to get her. At pick up they placed her in the car and buckled her so I could not see her arm, but they assured me it was just a bump, "it's not broken or anything." When I got her out of the car her arm was obviously misshapen and I knew right away it was broken. We emailed the director several times asking only that they provide better training to their staff. None of our emails were answered. I would not trust these people with children's safety.

What's the point of having staff attend to people when they're suppose to help them while knowing a camper is disabled, but don't do anything once they're injured ??? My son had visible injury to his foot when he arrived to his home. The lady who drives him was stunned that Camp Summit staff said NOTHING to her.

The teachers have always been amazing, my current decisions come from the over all unprofessionalism coming from the schools director. Since she has taken the Position of director, I have seen employees who had worked there for many years leave, parents who had been enrolled since their child was 12weeks old pull their children after years, and the culture of the environment has drastically declined. The schools director is very rude, unprofessional in how she speaks and treats parents and teachers. Its gotten to the point where I have seen her bully children of parents and employees she doesn't like. where I have seen both teachers and parents leave the center because of her actions toward their children. Again this post saddens me to write. I loved this center, i love the owners, and I will miss all of the amazing teachers who raised my children. If the director ever changes or leaves, I would gladly return but until that time I have to seek child care else where.

I was impressed that a group of kids ages 7 - 8 were able to play instruments after a week and put on a show on the last day. In this particular group, most of the kids had no prior experience, but they learned and performed and had a great time. They learned songs ranging from "Louie Louie" by the Kingsman, "Tainted Love" by Soft Cell, and "TNT" by AC/DC. Was I glad I wore earplugs? Yes. Would I sign my kid up again? Absolutely. I can't speak for other locations, but the teachers and house musicians at this location are really nice, and enthusiastic about music and making it fun for kids. "Me gotta go.
