She started in April 2025 after thriving at her previous Primrose location, where she was confident, happy, and excelling. Within two months at Lantana, her teachers completed an ASQ assessment and rated her as not meeting expectations in nearly every category. Let that sink in. Our daughter, who is bright, energetic, and constantly praised for her intelligence by everyone who meets her, including her pediatrician, was suddenly portrayed as behind across the board. Just before leaving Old Orchard, she had an ASQ completed there and was thriving in every category. When I questioned leadership about these shocking results, I was met with gaslighting. I was told the assessment was different. I was asked to complete one myself. I was made to feel like I did not understand my own child. Her former school was equally shocked. Around October and November, the narrative shifted. We began receiving complaints that our daughter was not listening, did not want to come inside from the playground, and had put her hands on other children. Typical two-year-old behavior. We acknowledged that like many toddlers in the "mine" stage, she sometimes reacts when a toy is taken from her, and we assured the school we were actively working on that at home. Instead of working with us, they escalated it. They began sending behavioral reports home and recommending speech therapy and play therapy for a child who speaks clearly and in full sentences. Two years old and speaking in full sentences. Yet teachers, some of whom are not even certified, felt comfortable suggesting therapy as if something were wrong with her. They started using loaded words like "tackled" and "going after the teacher" to describe a two-year-old little girl. I am still trying to understand what exactly a toddler is capable of doing to a grown adult in a classroom that is supposed to have at least two teachers present at all times. Yet we were told no other child or staff member did anything and that our daughter simply decided to kick and hit other kids unprovoked. That does not align with reality. Our daughter has playdates. She spends weekends with her cousins. We have never witnessed anything close to what they described. I have voicemails from leadership, including the owner Erin Lundie, using carefully chosen language that clearly attempts to label our daughter as aggressive and violent. At one point, I became so disturbed by the sudden change in her behavior that I genuinely started to question whether something inappropriate was happening at school. This is a child who used to love school so much we sometimes had to force her to leave at pickup. Suddenly, she was having meltdowns at morning drop-offs. Another major red flag was a call from their HR Director, Shannon Tilton, about our daughter not wanting to nap. I explained that she is at a stage where naps are inconsistent and she would prefer a quiet activity. I was told verbatim, "We do not force them to sleep, but according to Texas law they are required to stay on their cot for the duration of nap time." That is completely false. Texas regulations require that children who do not sleep be offered quiet activities. So not only were they mishandling our child, but they were also misrepresenting state regulations to justify it. I could go on, but the bottom line is this: the leadership team and teachers either failed to properly do their jobs or were actively shaping a negative narrative about our daughter. We were paying over $1,600 a month, they were not doing us a favor. Since removing her, she is now attending a new daycare, and she is thriving once again with only positive remarks from her teachers so far. Zero issues. No behavioral labels. No therapy recommendations. No exaggerated reports. Just a happy, intelligent child in a supportive environment. That tells us everything.

Firstly, My daughter has been sick from this daycare since the start of going here. Multiple times a month she would bring something home, which isn't normal at all. I took her to the ER 6 times and she had been sick or gotten a terrible rash 15 times since she started. (A span of 8 months) my daughter had a yeast infection and it was almost fully healed when I dropped her off at daycare. When I picked her up her skin was peeling off and she had blisters. I had to start the process of healing all over again because of their negligence. I asked them to change her every hour and they didn't listen to me. When I asked about it they said they just "didn't log the times they changed her in between". I got calls up to 3 times a week every week because something was wrong, or I needed to come get her, or they would diagnose her with some illness that they're not authorized to even do. I went to the dr. Multiple times because of them not letting her come to daycare due to them self diagnosing her and not letting her come to daycare. On another note, I have picked my daughter up and many times where someone would tell me how they fed her their own personal food for lunch and how much she loved it. THINGS I DID NOT BRING OR AUTHORIZE ...SHARING THEIR FOOD OFF THEIR FORKS TO MY CHILD!!! I also picked her up one time and her teacher asked me if she was allergic to anything.. I said no, why? She continued to explain to me that she had just given my 13 month old a bite of her sonic strawberry milkshake, and didn't think about her being allergic to it until after she gave her a bite. The woman who runs the daycare (Samantha) would tell me how she shared her Chick-fil-A salad with her for lunch... another worker told me how much Scarlett loves pineapple, Olive Garden salad dressing, AND DONUTS. That right there in itself breaks so many codes that this place should honestly be shut down. They also sent her home very dirty every day. They NEVER wiped her face, even when she was sick so many times, I would pick her up with dried snot all over her face. When I had picked her up when they were playing outside she always had dirt all in her fingernails, all over her face.. she had been eating the dirt and sticking wood chips in her mouth. I asked about this and told them to please not let her eat the dirt and wood chips and her teacher replied by saying that "they give them snack outside and sometimes she drops it and picks up dirt and eats that instead." ... I wish I was making this up.. why are they giving toddlers snack outside? They could so easily choke on things so I'm not sure why they're standing up, outside eating their snacks while running around and playing. This daycare is also supposed to take photos everyday of your child, they won't. And when they do submit a photo of them 9 times out of 10 there's a teacher in the background, ignoring the toddlers, on their cellphones. I can't count how many times I picked my daughter up to see both teachers on their cell phones. She would come home everyday exhausted, and very unhappy, I thought it was just because she was tired.. nope. When she started at her new daycare I noticed she's the happiest I've ever seen her, and that lasts until bedtime.. at the other daycare I would pick her up and she was immediately in a terrible mood for the rest of the night. Unfortunately this makes me realize she wasn't treated right..I can't even imagine how she was being treated and I feel awful for sending her here. I've heard them yell at my baby for trying to get something off the counter, and I'm talking yelllll. I should've known to leave then and there but I just didn't and I deeply regret it. She would come home with scratches and bruises and bite marks EVERYDAY!! and apparently every time no one had known what had happened to her. Every time I tried to call or get in contact with the daycare they either didn't answer the phone or when they did it was clear they didn't want to be bothered. And I got the same treatment when and If I had a special request for her... i would be told they would do it for her and then find out they didn't do it at all. I'm really sorry for the long message but parents need to know this before deciding to send their kids to this daycare. It's filthy and the people who work there are negligent and breaks so many codes.. it might be the cheapest option but it's far from the best. We're at a daycare now that is so clean, feeds her three meals a day including snack, and I have access to all the cameras so I can view her at any time of the day now, and they are going to teach her sign language and Spanish. All for $60 more than apex. Please if you care about your babies, look into other options before sending them here.

The facility was neatly decorated, impressive security, clean and very pleasant atmosphere. Each classroom and playground is equipped with cameras and the teacher to student ratio was just what we was looking for. They have their own chef that provides fresh nutritional meals and snack on a daily basis. I like the fact that they prepare them for regular school and theolder they get they get to wear uniforms and each classroom is different and handle things according to age. Miss Marilynn,the principal, and Alice the VP are so compassionate and genuinely take the time to know every child and family, which really makes you feel like family. The infant room teachers--Dani, Danniette, Farzaneh, Yasmin, and Lexi--are all amazing. I 100% trust they are caring for our baby like one of their own! I am actually sad to be moving to the next room soon, however I am sure the new teachers will be just as great. I understand locking the door is for kids safety, and I like it too, but at least when they see me ringing the bell, they should come out and ask if I need help with anything instead of turning the light off. I started the MDO program as a sub and continued as a full time teacher. I noticed things that…read moreweren't right with the director and daughter. There is favoritism and discrimination. Policies were only enforced for certain teachers. Kids weren't moved up to next class according to their age. Either held back or very much advanced. There is no curriculum or teaching, just free play. I feel as if certain classes there aren't necessarily a safe environment for the children. Also not sanitary. We were never required to mop, clean toys. There's always bugs and rust on the floors and walls, food stuck as well. Very outdated, lots of broken toys. I feel as if the parents that have their children attending this program knew what really went on in the classrooms, they wouldn't have their child enrolled. I voiced many opinions about the conditions to the director and eventually was laid off because of personal differences. I was also called a liar and wasn't being taken seriously with my concerns. The church in the separate building is nothing like the MDO program. Its a very great fellowship with a wonderful pastor. Don't let the representation of the MDO program give you a bad opinion about the ACTUAL church.
