I cannot recommend these guys enough. Quality work; you think they have an army of hands. As I have built a relationship with them over the years they add a wonderful sense of community to the end of our block. They're great at what they do and friendly, educational along the way. I have had a few instances with my obnoxious truck where it has failed or something blew. Second damage repair, my first one was awesome, and this one was even better with just incredible service. Just before Christmas 2022, one of those huge construction site security fences was blown over onto my SUV hood. Multiple large dents and deep scratches everywhere. GEICO handled the claim, but Vince was not happy with what they proposed, so he FOUGHT for a new OEM replacement hood. Who does that? The replacement hood fits and color matches perfectly. It looks literally brand new. I am continually impressed with the professionalism and excellence that Cadwalader Service Centre delivers each and every time. I'm fortunate to live down the block from the Cadwalader Service Centre. I had taken my car there for an issue with my tires and TPMS and Vince was honest and gave an explanation on the parts and labor that even I could understand. Then a couple weeks later while having issues with a different tire, Vince actually drove to my house with a compressor to help me inflate the tire enough to drive it down the block and replace a valve stem that had frozen in the cold weather. His service and kindness went well beyond anything I would have expected. I'd highly recommend anyone in the area with car problems to give Vince a call. read more

We have used this fine establishment on and off for years. After a long time, the previous owners retired and sold the business to Vince. Recently we had an overheating issue with our BMW and brought the car to Cadwalader after calling Vince to be sure it was ok and that they worked on BMW's. Vince said come on down and he would see what he could do but it might take 'till the next day to fix depending when he diagnosed the car and how difficult it was to get parts. Vince called up with the diagnosis and while not cheap it was a lot less then I think the dealer would have charged. The car was fixed in one day with no appointment, and Vince even dropped the car off at our home (about 2 miles from his shop) when it was done! Great service costs a bit to provide, and for the hassle free fast and skilled service I think Cadwalader does a great job and is a great value. read more

Car repairs are always something to dread, but when I take my car here it's not so bad. The people are always helpful, they go above and beyond any other repair center I've been to. In one instance, he actually showed me what was wrong. They will even make give you a ride if your car isn't going to be ready in a fair amount of time. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Some negative points to note which made our experience an unfortunate one: Having had an extremely unpleasant experience during check out, primarily due to the absolute incompetency of the receptionist who is racist, rude and unable to answer why the bill did not reflect the discount, a simple question. She then referred to my wife and i as "THESE PEOPLE" as she stated to the mechanic/owner Vince. I wrote a letter and received a response with an apology. We accepted the apology. Last week I called in late afternoon to make an appointment, when I stated my name the receptionist sounding annoyed said who and why are you bringing your car in? Sighed and said I don't understand what you are saying & hung up. I called back and she said I would need to speak with Vince and put me on hold. I held on for 22 mins, Vince did not come onto the phone. I eventually hung up. The next day I had a highly educated co worker call with a slight accent and again this receptionist was rude and annoyed. Asked her name she replied Joan why do you need it? read more

Had my car in here over the summer, felt they were ripping me off on certain repairs. Just a gut feeling. After they made repairs to get my car running I asked them to take a look and see what additional repairs were needed to pass inspection. I asked multiple times if they would charge me for this and was told NO, they were just taking a look. When I picked it up the second time they tried charging me an additional $300 some for "just looking", as well as a couple minor repairs they did without my authorization (who knows if they needed fixing to begin with). They were extremely pushy about certain things I didn't ask for, and gave me a list of other things I needed to pass inspection. I followed my gut and didn't get the repairs done there. About a month later and the car broke down again (reasons unrelated to the repairs done by Cadwalader) and I had another mechanic look at all the things Cadwalader told me were in desperate need of replacing. Confirmed, I was lied to and they were pushing things on me that were unnecessary, or not as bad as they tried to tell me they were. If you get work done here make sure you're checking the parts they're replacing on your car to ensure you're not getting lied to and ripped off. read more

Vince (owner) and his other mechanic are absolutely tops. Trustworthy, efficient, hard working. They get the job done right the first time. Vince will always call and give you options on what you need for a repair. He has done everything from engines, brakes, electrical to giving me the truth about a car I wanted to buy (it would have been a complete lemon). I had received a quote on a new fuel door from the old management and then waited to save up some money to get it done (tiny door, big price tag). The new owners reviewed the quote and said they could honor it so I dropped the car off before going out of town and prepaid. Turns out it actually ended up being about $50 more than anticipated because it required a three step paint job not a two step which is what the original quote indicated. I guess they could tell how crestfallen I was ($50 is a lot of money to me and I'd been waiting until I could afford this job to get it done!) because when I showed up today to pay the difference and get my car I was told not to worry about it. My car had also been cleared off of the snow (I got stuck out of town due to the blizzard) and was ready in 4wd. I was also instructed to order something through Amazon rather than them because it would be much cheaper. Was happy with my service at Cadwalader before and new owners are even stepping it up a notch! Plan to pay them back by getting several other projects done on "my baby" in the coming months, including audio work which they can now handle as well as well! read more

This place is fantastic. Matt is the most honest mechanic I ever met. I took my car to tires plus for inspection. They said I need $1500 in repairs to pass inspection. So I decided to get a second opinion and took my car to Cadwalader. Seeing as theres only one bad review ( and that lady gives nothing but bad reviews so she's probably just an angry person) i gave them a shot. Matt took a look and said it will probably be around $500. Told him go ahead and do the work. When all was said and done it cost $400 and some change. I was blown away. He could have tacked something else on I didn't need to make it $500 like the big chain auto places do but he didn't. If you need something done these guys will do it right and honest. I take my car there for everything now which is not often because they are that good. No bs and and quality service is so hard to find with a mechanic. read more
