Wow! Where to begin?!! The staff was phenomenal! The campground is very clean, landscaped beautifully, the showers houses (3) are always clean and air conditioned! Private showers with a toilet and sink. The one connected to the office is semi private. We tent camped and were on site T2. Very spacious and grass pads. So no matter the size of your tent it will fit nicely. Ours is in the photos. 13 ft in diameter. The pool, playground, jump pad etc were all in great shape and well maintained. The camp store had all the things you made want/need. Text the office and they'll deliver to your campsite even if you buy firewood. Lots of hardwood trees for shade. No raccoons or critters at night messing with your things. Quiet and peaceful environment and lots of squirrels and birds to see/watch. 40 minutes to downtown Cincinnati. Casino less than 10 miles away for those who like to gamble, premium outlet mall close by as well. Definitely will be back! The only thing I could suggest is swings for bigger kids & adults. We absolutely LOVED our stay at the KOA in Lebanon, OH. It was actually our very first time at any KOA. Our campsite was just breathtaking. We had a huge corner lot away from everyone, they all were behind us. We had a gravel fire pit, filled with plants. A bench, a recliner and so much shade. We had a gas grill. The campground was so quite, all you heard was the Owl. The staff was very kind, very friendly all the time. We did have some minor issues. Dogs running around on our campsite- we do not have dogs, my son is very allergic. The staff took care of it immediately. Dogs must stay leashed while on the campground. The dryer stopped working on me. Again, the staff took care of it immediately. Adults & children running & walking through our campsite. EVERY DAY. Rude, Very annoying. Very! Signs should be posted to respect everyone's campsite. I gave this review 4 stars because the drive/road in the campground is all large rock gravel. It should be paved. Easier to walk on. And so much easier for children to ride their bikes/scooters on. My son wrecked his bike on a large stump that is on the side of the road back where the tents are, flew over his handle bars. He got beat up pretty bad. Thank goodness an adult seen him and helped him until his dad and I was able to get to his aid. read more

This is a nice park. It has some age to it, but it looks to be clean and well kept. They also seem to be making updates. The sites are spacious. The shower and restroom facilities are nice and clean. There is a nice playground and a dog park. The laundry is nice and clean and the park staff/owners (?) are very friendly. We stayed here while we visited Kings Island and it is an easy drive to the park. Lots of shade! read more

We stayed here while visiting friends in Dayton. It was perfect for what we needed it to be, which was a basecamp for doing things in the area. This is the closest campground to King's Island, but it was also close to Miamisburg and Wright Patterson Air Museum. The pool was small, but clean and well maintained. Our 7 year-old really liked the playground and interacting with all of the kids that were there. This is definitely a great place for those looking for a place to camp in the area or a simple 1 night stop on the road. It's probably not as well suited for people looking to camp for an extended period of time. read more

Typically we enjoy staying at this KOA however, I want to put out this warning. I reserved a site for 10/5/19 and called them 7/9/19 to let them know I sold my camper and needed to see about switching to a cabin. They informed me there were none available that weekend. I asked if I could get my deposit of $60.70 back and they said no. They said it's considered a holiday weekend and because they get so many people wanting reservations, they don't offer cancellations. It's a shame they want to keep my money even though: (1.) I no longer own a camper and (2.) it's literally THREE months away and I find it hard to believe they wouldn't be able to rent that site considering they say it's a busy weekend. This is a bad policy by either KOA or the owners of the Lebanon KOA. read more

The campgrounds it's self is nice. Very clean with nice sites. I really want to give it more stars but I booked this KOA during a "VKR rewards" weekend. KOA promoted this weekend as "stay on the 14th get the 15th for free." I was charged for both nights and was told that this particular KOA doesn't participate in these weekends. I definitely would have gone someplace different for the free night had I known this when booking. The classic bait and switch, you got my money this time...but it won't happen again read more

Great campground receiving some improvements! Pool is small! There needs to be more bathrooms, which were being built during our stay! Great location! Nice Grounds! Dog area needs more sun light, the giant tree makes it really shaded & it gets muddy! Has a feel of being away, but you are very close to town! The entrance sign can be hard to see due to foliage! RV park is located by a bunch of apartments, but the entire week we never noticed they were there! We visited during The University of Dayton's Baseball camp, & can't wait to return next summer! read more

Horrible campsite. We stayed in 516. Impossible to get anywhere near level. Some ridiculous liability waiver that I've never seen at a KOA. Stay at KOAs a lot and this is one of the worse one we have encountered. Roads within are impossible to maneuver at night. Don't think they even look at KOA profile when assigning a spot. No way our site was suppose to hold a 32 ft RV. It was probably designed for a 22 ft one. If we had arrived during the day and could have switched sites, I might feel different about the place. I just think they have a long way to go to be up to KOA standards. The staff was very nice. read more

Nothing wrong with it. Camp is great for what it is a overnight stop or a place to stay if you are heading to kings island. Nice not luxurious. when you sit on the toilet you can't shut the door. We are tent campers, so we have an instant bias against campgrounds that cater to the RV crowd. However, we found this place to be well balanced in tent sites vs full hookups. Our site was level (more or less) and came with an electric socket. Yay for modern technology - the plug was a standard household 120v three-prong. I do have an adapter for RV 45 amp service, but it was nice to not have to use it. Only two issues. First, the shower house is located a fair piece from the tent sites. Most RV folks use the bathroom in their RV. It would make more sense to locate the tent sites closer. OK, minor complaint. We showered on our way out the door. One semi-serous complaint. The showers were very primitive. We figured it out, but it took a little effort. I will say that they were clean and mostly well maintained. Some of the doors need work, but they functioned. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone camping in the Cincinnati area. read more

Really beautiful setting! So clean. Bathrooms are new and really large and extremely clean. Huge showers. Great place for kids, but I only have a four-legged one that really appreciated being close to nature: wild field of grasses, trees, and lots of lawn. We usually go to this campground for their Halloween Campout. We have so much fun! This year we have to cancel :( Our reservation is for October 8-11. I called TODAY almost 2 months in advance and they are not refunding my full amount. Per their policy any cancellation on a holiday weekend they have the right to keep a 61.43 dollar deposit. The original charge for the weekend is 213.87, which is high, but then to keep 61.43 of that is crazy when I am canceling in advance. Our friends are still going, I am sure our site will be full. Basically, they are making money from us and the people who will probably be renting our site. We will not be back, I refuse to give my money to people who take advantage of others. There are plenty of local campgrounds who do Halloween Campout weekends. read more

Very nice place to stay ,very well kept and very nice staff and very helpful..the only problem I had was the site that I stayed on the fire pit was 20 yards away and I like to cook on the fire alot for dinner and the biggest problem was the concrete pad had an angle to it that butted up against the steps of my trailer, I said to myself when I first got there I was going to twist my ankle well......I did hurt really bad and the angle serves no real purpose. I really hope they get rid of it so nobody else gets hurt made it very hard for me to walk around Kings Island with a purple ankle. I would consider staying here again but not that site. read more

Stopped overnight driving from Tennessee to Michigan. Easy to get to from I-75. Sites were spacious and clean with a variety of hook-up choices. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I loved the off leash dog park complete with toys! My lab was ecstatic! For a one night stay it was great, but I would have enjoyed a few days here. The showers and restroom were spotless, and the store had all the necessities and ice cream which we really needed. Highly recommend. read more

Great campground! Nice playground, decent enough pool and the bathrooms were extremely clean! The staff has been great and most of the sites are very shaded. We were there for Labor day weekend and the early dropoff was really helpful ( they allowed campers on certain sites to bring their campers up Thursday night). We are already coming back for a Halloween weekend and will be planning many more trips here next camping season! read more

We just discovered this campground this past weekend. What a gem. The staff goes above and beyond to make your camping experience a good one, beginning with the escort that directs you to your site. This was so enjoyable that we are camping there again this weekend. Campground is clean, grounds well maintained, great touches like a very nice playground, with even a gaga ball pit which was huge with our kids, a jump pad and a dog park. I feel certain that this will become our local campground of choice! read more

The staff was so friendly and very accommodating when we asked to stay another night. Haven't even stayed there yet, but very impressed with the assistance I received. We had some changes in our scheduling that affected our previous reservation dates. I called back to see about making a change, knowing that it would be tough to accommodate me during the summer on such short notice. I talked to a representative by the name of Brittany (hope I spelled it right), and she handled everything so quickly and courteously it made my head spin ! She rearranged our reservation and made everything work perfectly for us ! KOA is as lucky to have her there as I was to get her on the phone. Awesome job KOA, and awesome job Brittany ! read more

We have been to this campground a few times and we like it a lot. I had it confused with a campground in Georgia which sucked really bad. This place was nice, well tended and spacious. We will stay here whenever we are in the area for work. read more

Great campground! We are traveling with our four golden retrievers, and our deluxe pull through campsite was within 100 feet of the K9 park. The check in process was very welcoming, and we will be sure to return when our travels bring us back to this area. read more

We stayed here this past weekend Friday and Saturday nights. Even though it rained half of the time because of Tropical Storm Bill we still had a wonderful time! The campground was very nice, clean and easy to navigate. The staff was AWESOME! We didn't have a chance to swim but the pool looked really nice and clean. The campsites were spacious and not cramped like some places and the facilities were also pretty nice and clean. Check in was super easy. It was great being 5 minutes from the shops in Lebanon but it definitely did not feel that way at all. It is also easily accessible to most areas around Cincinnati. We are from Cincy but it was nice to be away from the house but still close enough incase something happened. On Saturday night we had planned to make my family's traditional campfire pizzas but my husband forgot to grab the bread and butter when packing the cooler so he walked up to the camp store to buy some. The woman working said she had just sold the last loaf of bread but then offered us her own from her camper since we couldn't make dinner with out it and she wasn't in desperate need for it. We had a great stay and will most definitely be returning for many more visits. They went above and beyond and we couldn't have asked for a better trip. I highly recommend. read more

We live near the park, and RV there for occasional time with friends and family. The park has changed hands over the past few years, and has taken the plunge to become a KOA-affiliated park. My thoughts about the park: Nice staff, very accomodating, with much more family oriented park activities than the former owner (grandmother) provided. Wide range of sites (tent, popup, RV), many recently upgraded, good balance of "grass vs gravel," most sites relatively level with minimal adjustments needed on setup. Full hookups work well, with good electricity levels, adequate dumping, and a cable hookup as well - about 50 TV stations to choose from. Wifi works fine throughout the park, but is NOT for streaming - get a dish for that! One main bathhouse - VERY clean bathrooms, VERY nice laundry room, VERY nice store (well stocked), firewood available, gas refills available. Another toilet/sink in a nearby storage shed...but certainly NOT a bathhouse. Nice (albeit a little small) pool - I think they plan to build a larger one soon. Playground great for smaller kids, and I see a lot of folks using the dog run. There is a pavillion for gatherings. A little noisy - Semi road noise can be heard due to being a little high up, and not far from a highway/bypass. There is also a fire station nearby...can you say "firerun" in the middle of the night??? Also near the high school...nearby football games can be rather loud in the fall! Generally, quiet though... I've seen prices continue to edge up to just shy of $50/nite. They nickel and dime you with kids and pets. I never understand why campgrounds penalize you for having kids. If it weren't for the kids, you might not be camping! Easy to hit $50+ for an overnite at a campground. A bit rich for the area and the amenities. Close to Kings Island if that's your thing. Near I71 and I75 (both Cinci and Dayton). Lebanon is a great little town to visit, as well. Shopping, train rides, nice park, YMCA with reciprocity agreements to most Y's, etc. Overall, a great campground. No issues with owners, very family oriented, very nice staff that help in any way they can. I highly recommend if you don't mind the price. The closest State park is Caesar's Creek, where the nightly rate is $29 with no amenities at all. So for an additional $20 per nite you get all that is described above! read more

We stayed here for the last week and a half. I am in agreement about the spacious sites. But they are really uneven. The spot we were in, the sewer was higher then the trailer so the sewage didn't drain properly and had a bad smell. Another negative was the big black ants. They infested our camper which we will have to extinguish once we get home. The staff is very friendly and the prices are reasonable in the store. Camp sites are pricy for the amenities they have there. They do charge 3 dollars extra per kid per day if you have more then 2. It does have a nice park for smaller kids, but it would be nice if they added a basketball court for older kids, since there is not much for them to do. Pool is nice and clean but too small for the amount of people that stay there. Don't get me wrong it's a really nice camp ground. Very clean. Besides the ants I wouldn't mind staying there again.
