Finally made it to "the biker bar on 27"! It is honestly the best. The staff is amazing, friendly, funny, and great at engaging with and taking care of their customers. Saturday afternoon we had the pleasure of meeting Angela, Dani, and Nikki... and they were an excellent team of bartenders. Food was delicious. They have live music Thursdays through Sundays. Interesting cafe I stumbled upon. A biker bar, a truck stop, and tiki bar in the middle of no where. I found this cafe as I had to meet up between Homestead and West Palm Beach, and this is how I ended up at Cafe 27. The live band that was playing was good, and they played 80s music. There was so many motorcycles parked, not sure if it was a Harley meet up event. I was excited to eat some fried alligator, as this cafe is really close to Everglades Holiday Park. Proceed with caution: I never leave reviews like this but unfortunately I have to. This is a great locals spot with live music and average bar food on the edge of the Everglades. I would come and be a regular but with shady billing practices-I won't be back. I'm not against automatically adding gratuity to the bill- I worked in hospitality for many years so I understand why it's done- however this place doesn't even list it on the itemized receipt. So even though it says 18% gratuity added at the bottom of the MENU- it does not list it at all on the receipt. This also means that you are being charged 7% tax on the 18% gratuity that's built into the check. The bartenders do not tell you and when you ask about it they get annoyed- you deserve to be aware so you don't tip 40% unless you choose to do so! read more

Swung in after a Sunday ride on the motorcycle. This place is packed with a motorcycle and they had a car show. I'm not sure if this car show is every Sunday but the live band starts at 2pm and the drinks are cold. Looks like folks come early to get prime seating. The first time I came here was to meet an old girlfriend who's a Harley rider. The perfect place because this is a biker bar. The Mr Nice Guy band was also playing there. Well fast forward seven years. I'm now living in Florida and the Mr Nice Guy band was playing here again after seven years. I decided to take my wife to hear the band and experience the scene at Cafe 27. The band is still one of the best cover bands in South Florida as for the food we both ordered their Cuban sandwich. A massive portion of pulled pork, ham, Swiss cheese pickles and mustard with perfectly cooked French fries. I had a blue moon to wash it all down. The sandwich was a little on the greasy side but very tasty. I like this place and will be back if the band playing there is to my liking. read more
