I absolutely love to eat here for their Vietnamese Style Chicken sandwich. I was born and raised in SF so expectations are high. This place is a definite win. It's the best I tasted in the valley. I again like their bobba. They make their avocado smoothie with real avocado, not powder. The bad part is that they run out of the chicken quickly because they are so good. They also don't open on Sunday's which is a "minus" for me since Sunday is the day I don't like to cook. Other than that, get in early if you want to Teri this sandwich. This place was a wonderful surprise! I stopped in just for a quick lunch to go and was met with a wide array of banh mi options that are very much like those I saw in the north of Vietnam; I was also impressed with the real fruit smoothies (another classic in Vietnam, and also found in Laos and Cambodia). I had a Chinese-sausage-and-egg banh mi and a mango smoothie, and they were both awesome, although the drink was a little sweeter than I'd like (sweetened beyond just the mango itself). The service was great there too, with staff being responsive and helpful and completing the order quite fast. The place is small but well-organized and has a few indoor tables, although I got my order to go so I didn't try them. The interior is bright and welcoming. First time trying Cafe Aroma. It was hard to decide what to order because they have so many options on the menu to choose from. I love that they have some healthy options as well. I ordered the Yosemite sandwich to go. Called it in and it was ready by the time I got there. Solid sandwich, the only thing I did not like were the sweet pickles. I love pickles with my sandwiches but these pickles were so sweet they threw off the taste sandwich. I ended up removing them. Other than that, I would come back and try more of the menu. read more

My family each got a different sandwich. We got the Yosemite, breakfast sandwich, and the jalapeño melt. I also got the Vietnamese iced coffee 10/10. Cafe Aroma is a small cafe located in a spacious plaza. There was plenty of parking when I stopped by. It seems pretty popular, it was decently busy when I came, but everyone was already eating. My boba took a little longer to come out though, but it was not too bad. I was contemplating ordering a house combo banh mi, but I ended up not getting one and just getting a boba. I ordered a jasmine milk tea with boba. The milk tea was smooth with a bitter tea taste, it could be a tad more creamy as well. The boba was a bit too tough, but chewy - it was also a bit sugary, so I did not like the aftertaste it gave. The drink itself was good, but it diluted and turned watery pretty quickly. This review is solely based on the boba, rather than the food - I would have to come back to try their banh mi. read more

My God- Cafe aroma is amazing! It is probably my favorite foods spot here in Manteca. I haven't tried one thing from here that isn't good. Highly recommend their Banh Mi (yes they use pate) and vermicelli bowls. Also their veggie burger is delicious even for non vegetarians.
