I absolutely love to eat here for their Vietnamese Style Chicken sandwich. I was born and raised in SF so expectations are high. This place is a definite win. It's the best I tasted in the valley. I again like their bobba. They make their avocado smoothie with real avocado, not powder. The bad part is that they run out of the chicken quickly because they are so good. They also don't open on Sunday's which is a "minus" for me since Sunday is the day I don't like to cook. Other than that, get in early if you want to Teri this sandwich. Speaking of sandwiches... they do have other selection of sandwiches but for me, the above is the best! read more

First time trying Cafe Aroma. It was hard to decide what to order because they have so many options on the menu to choose from. I love that they have some healthy options as well. I ordered the Yosemite sandwich to go. Called it in and it was ready by the time I got there. Solid sandwich, the only thing I did not like were the sweet pickles. I love pickles with my sandwiches but these pickles were so sweet they threw off the taste sandwich. I ended up removing them. Other than that, I would come back and try more of the menu. read more

This place was a wonderful surprise! I stopped in just for a quick lunch to go and was met with a wide array of banh mi options that are very much like those I saw in the north of Vietnam; I was also impressed with the real fruit smoothies (another classic in Vietnam, and also found in Laos and Cambodia). I had a Chinese-sausage-and-egg banh mi and a mango smoothie, and they were both awesome, although the drink was a little sweeter than I'd like (sweetened beyond just the mango itself). The service was great there too, with staff being responsive and helpful and completing the order quite fast. The place is small but well-organized and has a few indoor tables, although I got my order to go so I didn't try them. The interior is bright and welcoming. Food for our baby "Sprinkle" was fabulous. Welcome all the time are we happen to ask about Vietnamese sandwiches. We got 10 chicken and 10 "house" sandwiches. The food was great, the people were so nice and friendly. Everything was fresh and it was a nice place to sit and relax for a bit. We got strawberry banana smoothies, Vietnamese coffee and matcha latte, a banhmi, a breakfast burrito and a breakfast sandwich. Nice little "whole in the wall" cafe. The sandwiches were fantastic and the service was friendly. There are only four tables in the place so it has a cozy (small) feel. Consider take out for the claustrophobic. read more

I've review on Cafe Aroma before but not since they changed owners. I didn't think it was possible for them to change owners and keep the same quality of food, love of their customers, and inviting ambiance of their restaurant.... But they have! I absolutely love this place and the staff, if you haven't checked this place out, make sure you do! I just love their homemade veggie burger! I don't know what they put in the patty but it's so good! I always want to try something else but I just end up getting this haha my husband gets the banh mi and we sometimes pick up some drinks as well. I ordered their combo sandwich and Thai iced tea and the sandwich was very tasty! The banh mi was flavorful and the bread was crunchy. The Thai tea was okay. I prefer mine on the sweeter side so for those that don't like it that sweet, it would go great with your lunch. read more

We were on our way to and from Great Wolf Lodge and decided we wanted some healthy sandwiches instead of the fried food there. Cafè Aroma hit the spot. Over two days we had Veggie bagel sandwiches, the Benjamin Button, Herbed Chicken Artichoke, the Bahn Mi and the Turkey Club. All were what you wanted a sandwich to be. Food: Found this place on a whim. Someone told me they had good Bahn Mi n i was like "GOOD BAHN MI IN MANTECA NO WAY HONEY" until i went there and HONEY my girl does NOT LIEEE. It's a great little dinner, with that being said it gets a little hectic when there's a service rush because it's small and quaint, fyi there's tables and chairs for outdoors dining, over all food is great, service terrific! I want to start off by saying that the staff and owner are very welcoming, friendly and attentive. This was my first time here. I was not disappointed with the sandwiches and service. My family each got a different sandwich. We got the Yosemite, breakfast sandwich, and the jalapeño melt. I also got the Vietnamese iced coffee 10/10. I love that it is family owned, which was one of the reason I wanted to try it out. Room is very limited inside and outside, but that wasn't a big problem for us. What a special place! We stopped in on the way to coach a tourney in Roseville, and so glad we did! Best banh mi sandwich ever! Fresh ingredients and the the BBQ pork was tender and flavorful. Cafe Aroma is a small cafe located in a spacious plaza. There was plenty of parking when I stopped by. It seems pretty popular, it was decently busy when I came, but everyone was already eating. My boba took a little longer to come out though, but it was not too bad. I was contemplating ordering a house combo banh mi, but I ended up not getting one and just getting a boba. I ordered a jasmine milk tea with boba. The milk tea was smooth with a bitter tea taste, it could be a tad more creamy as well. The boba was a bit too tough, but chewy - it was also a bit sugary, so I did not like the aftertaste it gave. The drink itself was good, but it diluted and turned watery pretty quickly. This review is solely based on the boba, rather than the food - I would have to come back to try their banh mi. read more

He was super friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the beers on tap. He took the time to answer our questions and made some great recommendations, which made the experience even better. They also had a hot dog stand set up in the back the day I visited, which was a nice surprise. It's great that they bring in local food vendors so you can grab something to eat while enjoying a beer. Overall, it's a fun spot with great service, good beer, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

I started to look at the menu and I mentioned coffee and the person behind the counter mentioned VietNamese coffee with two different choices. Once I figured out what she said so quickly, I picked the puff cream option. The store seemed really clean and it's so bright and the person greeted me so cheerily, it almost didn't seem like Manteca. The drink was finished quickly and it was a big portion. I finished what I could in the store and didn't take it with me when I left. It was quite good. She said that it was strong, but it was typical for VietNamese coffee. I stumbled upon this small hole in the wall sandwich shop and I am so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile from the staff. The service was exceptional and they were so helpful in recommending some of their best sandwiches. I tried the chicken ban mi and banjamjn button sandwiches and they were absolutely delicious! The flavors were incredible and the ingredients were fresh. I could tell that a lot of care and attention went into making each sandwich. Don't be fooled by the size of this shop, it may be small but it is definitely mighty in flavor. This place is a hidden gem and I am so happy I found it. I've been coming to Cafe Aroma since FOREVER. I love the staff and really appreciate them making us feel so welcome in their shop. They have amazing selections on their menu for a variety of taste buds. My all time favorite is of course- the banh mi! I love the chicken and the sardine!!!! Extra jalapeños please!!! Their spring rolls- are fresh made to order. And I loveeeee the different boba selections. When I'm in any rush, I make sure to call in my order just in case there is a lunch time rush. I recently started coming here, and it's already a favorite! The staff is incredibly warm and makes every visit feel personal--they even remember my drink order. I stopped by Café Aroma for a quick bite and was really impressed. I tried one of their bánh mì sandwiches and a vermicelli bowl--both were fresh, well-balanced, and packed with flavor. Decent sandwich the panini pressed bread was good great pesto good hot link very exotic sandwiches. This place has been a staple in town for yours! New owners as of about 3 years ago have made it the best it's been since it started! They not only have the classic coffee drinks but now have amazing sandwiches, boba drinks and teas! They have Vietnamese sandwiches on fresh French rolls that are bomb! Hands down my go-to place for breakfast . The food here is delicious . Many mornings after going to the gym I would head immediately over and order the Spam and Egg banh mi. I would recommend any of the banh Mis for breakfast paired with a Vietnamese coffee! The service is also incredible , honestly makes me feel as if I were at home with family! 10/10 would recommend if in the area. read more

Today I indulged in their spicy shrimp and it was absolutely delightful! The spice level falls perfectly in the middle. This morning, my husband and I visited, and we were somewhat disappointed with the quality of our orders. He ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk, while I ordered an oat milk latte with an extra shot of espresso at a temperature of 200 degrees. He also selected a ham, cheese, and egg croissant, and I opted for a bacon and cheese croissant. Regrettably, the items did not meet our expectations. The beverages lacked the desired strength; although the temperature was correct, I was informed after placing our order that they were out of oat milk and had to substitute it with almond milk. Given that we had already paid approximately $30, this was quite disappointing. Despite these concerns, we did not request a discount or refund, and we accepted the substitution that was communicated to us approximately 10 to 15 minutes after placing our order. On a positive note, the staff were very courteous, and the establishment was clean. However, I suspect that the items we ordered may not represent the best offerings on their menu. While the service was commendable, there was a notable wait involved. It would have been preferable to have been informed of the oat milk shortage prior to payment, as we might have chosen to leave at that point. Unfortunately, our dissatisfaction led us to seek alternative options, and we subsequently drove to Stockton to visit Peet's Coffee, where we consistently find lattes prepared to our liking. While we may not return to this location, I do not wish to portray it negatively. It is clear that the establishment has potential, yet our experience did not align with our expectations.
