I decided to to finally try this place. I drive by it all the time. My mom was with me, and we decided to to eat there. They have a small area to sit, maybe 12 tables. The service was great. Very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Mango Chicken. It was delicious. It was so good, I just had to share my wonderful experience. They mostly do take out, and have a small delivery radius. We've been ordering their food the last 8+ years and we always liked it, especially the fresh crispy General Tsao chicken. The last 3 times it sucked from ok to gross and going downhill. I give a few breaks. Fresh food takes at least 30 minutes. This weekend we got our order within 15 minutes, delivered. The beef looked whitish (was it beef?), the chicken was unusually bloated spongy, very greasy, oil soaked and wet and all around gross and awful. The red sauce was a cold gelatin like wobbling substance. Just nasty. Not edible. Cannot recommend it anymore. I wish there was NO star choice. read more

My family and I always order delivery and the staff are foreign but they are super nice and friendly . Whenever we are close by we do pick up our food and they are very pleasant folks. My family and I are loyal to this place. We've been coming here for 8 years now. Have seen some management changes, but this restaurant maintains solid. We usually order here just for the special fried rice. It's soo good, taste fresh and is not greasy one bit. We also get wings, egg rolls, wonton soup and steamed vegetable and they are all great! I think over the years though the customer service has gotten better, not that it was bad before it just got better. The lady who usually cashiers is so nice and patient, very friendly staff. She was intentional about getting my order right and offered to repeat it several times after I made some changes to my order. I recommend this place based off of my experience ! read more

Excellent Jalapeno Chicken! Fantastic Egg rolls, Egg Drop Soup and Cream Cheese puffs. Service is very friendly! The only down side is the Hot and Sour used to be good, but in the past year it's been too "sweet" Hot and Sour soup should never be that way. All in all though I would highly recommend. read more

Have never had a bad meal from this place . Love the Hunan Chicken , which is not on the menu, but is offered if you ask for it. We also get the special spicy lo-mein, excellent flavor. The highly talked about black pepper chicken has finally entered my digestive system. Lol well the taste as explained by all the other reviewers as awesome is correct but one big thing fell short. While the flavor was on point same with the kick of spicy peppers the chicken was very mushy it was like a mash potato consistency that's been sitting out for a few days. I would like to assume I got the bad batch but this was bad. The combo deal also came with fried rice and soup. Fried Rice was very clumpy aka left over rice. Not very flavorful! I ordered my favor hot and sour soup was highly disappointed the soup should of been sweet and sour soup. Would I recommend this place mmmm. The food was amazing. Wonderful staff. Last week I ate the pineapple chicken and it was delicious. I also fell in love with the "chino taco" and "cheese puffs". They tasted very good. Pricing is also very reasonable. I will definitely be going back to try more. read more

Used to live in Katy. Always been curious about this place. Finally years later when I'm visiting my parents I decide to go. Very inexpensive and very tasty. Wanted just a quick bite and not a whole meal so I popped in for a to go order. I ordered the shrimp rolls and the combination fried rice. The shrimp rolls were quite good, but the duck orange sauce was special. Most places give you a packet of high fructose corn syrup colored orange, but theirs tasted fresh. The rice was well flavored but the meats were nothing special and in particular the pork is overcooked. For the price, the quantity and quality, this place is worth a stop...better than most, not as good as others. read more

Mediocre at best. The family and I checked this place out due to some of the good reviews I saw here on yelp... I'm not sure how this place received them. While the service was good, the food was severely lacking. First, I'll say that the soup was disgusting. I had the egg drop soup, and my mother-in-law had the wonton soup. While these two soups appeared to be what you'd expect to receive from a standard Chinese restaurant they were missing one thing - FLAVOR! Both of our soups tasted primarily like water with only a few drops of broth. Quite the let down. I will say my first impression perked up when I received the sesame chicken I ordered. The meat was tender and the sauce was nice and sweet. I was happy until I bit into the "cheese puff" which was super sweet instead of the savory flavor I was expecting. Strike two. My husband was happy with his main dish as well (black pepper beef) but my father-in-law was only half impressed with his his lo-mein and my mother-in-laws meal of chicken with vegetables was a let down for her all the way around with poor flavor and spicing. Over all the few redeeming qualities were the good service and the tender meat as well as a decent egg roll and good dumplings. Too bad those were not enough to carry the dining experience as a whole. There's much better Chinese food out there. read more

This is a"hole in the wall" cafe. I work nearby and just wanted some good Chinese. I was a little uncertain when I went in. It looks kind of run down. But I ordered the lunch version of shrimp with veg It came with soup and an egg roll for $7.99. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Lots of fresh veggies and huge shrimp. Horrible experience today with this place. I ordered special fried rice extra spicy and when it came it was not spicy at all and horrible. My company orders from them all the time and we had a large order today so I think the mixed up the order. I called them back and they insisted that it was spicy and if it wasn't I should put some hot sauce on it. I insisted on a replacement and they told me that they were too busy to come back out and if they did I would have pay for two orders. My second option was to take back the order on own time for them to tell me wheather or not it was made right. I have This is horrible customer service and I've let everyone that orders from this place not to do so in the future. read more

We came to eat in this place on our way with our 4 years old daughter. My daughter was doing like any other preschooler will do, and she started playing with the shaker. The lady that works there came to our table when we were siting and eating our food, and took the shaker from my daughter's hand, and moved it away. That was really so rude, and unacceptable behavior. The same lady after few minutes she starts saying that my daughter is very active, and she was trying to judge her, and I had to stop her.
