Les Antiquaires is exactly what I picture when I think of a classic Parisian bistro. It checks all the boxes. The ambiance is warm and bustling. The staff is great. The menu covers all the bases (albeit in my opinion the prices are higher than necessary). The food is delicious. The location is great (and perhaps this is why the prices are high)! I ordered the seabass fillet and my mom got roasted farmhouse chicken. I got a side of the potatoes dauphinois and she swapped her mashed potatoes for fries. We enjoyed every bite of food we tried. Our table was indoors but right on the cusp of being on the terrace. It was the perfect spot. Best of both worlds. Although I genuinely feel this is a pricier option for a bistro, I think the prices match its popularity and they can get away with it. It's right near the Musée d'Orsay so it's perfect for a meal before or after visiting the museum. The restaurant was very busy when we were there for lunch, and I was glad to have a reservation. It was actually one of my more memorable and enjoyable meals in Paris and a spot I definitely plan to return to on a future visit.

So lovely! We stopped in our first day in Paris for a snack at recommendation of dear friend who lives here and her recommendation was spot on -- our driver en route told us "it's incredible, you'll love it" so we knew going in it would be something special. The atmosphere is stunning, and our server was so kind and accommodating-- thank you Esteban for being so wonderful! The Comte and Roquefort cheese plate and onion soup were perfect -- the cherry jam and bread accompanying are incredible too, can't wait to come back for another meal

Les Antiquaires was another restaurant I had checked out during Paris because people online had highly recommended it. We made a reservation here and were able to be seated promptly outdoors, which thankfully in October wasn't too cold. The interior of the restaurant seemed nice and traditional, with a cozy and warm vibe to it. For the food we got beef bourguignon, duck breast, and also pate as the appetizer. The pate was great, the creamy texture paired well with the jam that they gave us. I also enjoyed the duck breast, since it was crispy on the outside with quite a bit of flavor to it. I wasn't the biggest fan of the beef bourguignon though, since some of the beef was kind of dry and the flavors for it were alright. I do think this restaurant is worth checking out if you come, although be sure to try some of their other meats too.

Oysters were amazing so was the Caesar salad. Roasted chicken dish was good. Onion soup was okay. Two stars for super weak martinis. I had 4 and my girl friend, who never drinks martinis, had 3 and it was just like drinking water. $122 USD spent on martinis that were filled with juice.

My wife and I were walking around trying to find something to eat and we figured why not try seafood in Paris? The host was very accommodating and found us a spot, even though we did not have reservations.. We ordered a few shrimps and some oysters for our appetizer and it wasn't too bad. It was good, but it wasn't like oh my gosh, this is so fresh. Lol My wife ordered their famous and highly recommended beef short rib stew. The meat was super tender, and it could have been shared amongst 2 people. I ordered the Seabass fillet and I enjoyed it. Super crispy skin and well cooked fillet. I definitely enjoyed it with the vegetables and the sauce reduction. Had a good time, definitely enjoyed the decorations and the decor inside. Our waiter was funny because he gave us an awkward look when we asked for ketchup for the shrimp and I pointed at my wife lol.

When is Paris...EAT HERE! Excellent food lovely service. Everything is top notch! This restaurant is an excellent experience. You must get a reservation if you don't want to wait. They also have an area out front to dine outside for light bites on a sunny day. The ambience is a must for your Paris tour.

What a fun experience! First time trying escargot and it did not disappoint one bit. The prices seem somewhat reasonable. The escargot was 19 Euros, the lamb dish was 28 Euros, so it's really not bad. The lb shoulder was delicious, everything else was mediocre, nothing extra special. We came for the French and onion soup and tasted like something I can get in the States. We loved the service, our waiter and busboy were extremely nice and helpful. This was our first restaurant to try in Paris, it's our first visit. Overall I recommend for the vibes and escargot experience.

Dinner at Les Antiquaires is one for the books; it was a standout even amongst all the great meals we had on this trip. The wait staff were light hearted & jovial, & we had genuine rapport with our waiter. My group loved the shadowy, romantic atmosphere & classic French bistro feel. We ordered all the traditional faves: -- beef bourguignon (29 €): an authority on French cooking, L'Observatoire du Patrimoine Gourmand, recognized this dish as one of the most delicious versions of its kind. Rich & complex in flavor, soft-cooked veggies, beef that shreds at the mere touch of your fork. -- Grandma-style roasted farm chicken (26 €): tender & well seasoned, served with buttery mashed potatoes & an addictive brown sauce. -- Brillat Savarin cheese with truffle & a nutty semi-hard cantal cheese (16 € for two portions of each): both paired well with accompanying black cherry jam. -- raspberry tart (14 €): raspberries are one of my favorite fruits & this is one of the best tarts I've tried. -- crêpes Suzette (16 €): flambéed at our table. I'm not a fan of Grand Marnier but my companions were dueling it out for the last bites. If I were in a rom-com about an American girl in Paris, a vignette of me heartily laughing, fork mid-air at Les Antiquaires, would perfectly capture one of my happiest moments.

Seven years ago I posted a review for here but it was the wrong restaurant! I looked it up on Google maps after and got the one across the street. This is my review from "returning" and eating at the real place. Very good food. Service is outstanding and the atmosphere is so homey and comfortable. Our server was on top of everything. Once our baguettes were gone, he replaced the basket in about 1 second of us taking out the last slice. I had the Bouef Bourgignon and crème brûlée which was very good. Profiteroles was good as well. The crepes Suzettes are also tasty. I'd eat here again.

This place has a the classic French look and feel. They have fresh seafood on ice in the front, checkered floors, old wood built ins and of course the traditional French patio. We split a burger and the crispy chicken Caesar salad. We ordered and our food came out less than 10 minutes later! Burger was slightly undercooked but we don't worry about this so much in France as we have to in America. Since this is near the Musee d'Orsay, it was a little bit on the pricier side for Paris. My Coca Cola was 7,50€ and the bottled water was 9,00€. We haven't had to spend too much on food so we didn't mind for a tasty meal.

One of the best places we found in Paris for classic French cuisine. Everything is amazing and the vibe is ~chefs kiss~. Most notable is their French onion soup, tartar, pate, and yummy seafood from the raw bar (try the langoustines and shrimp if available!).

Our hotel recommended and made reservation for us at Les Antiquaires (translation to The Antique Dealers) and it was a great choice! It's located near Musee d'Orsay and walkable from our hotel near Musee du Louvre. Our server was wonderful and friendly. I love the cozy, refinement of the place with mirrors and unique furniture. Marinated octopus a la plancha Served in red curry sauce and roasted vegetables. It's simple yet very delicious. It's succulent and not tough or chewy. Linguine al Vongole Clams, white wine, garlic & parsley and fresh tomatoes. Great sauce! Seabass I think this was a special. Seabass was cooked perfectly and delicately seasoned. The side vegetables was delicious. Vegetables in Europe always taste so much better. It is a bit loud and packed in the restaurant. Hard to have a conversation but you will definitely enjoy the food.

Highly recommend for anyone looking to drink something memorable. For mains: The flank steak was perfectly cooked medium rare, tender, and full of flavor. Modest portion, but just right considering the quality. The lamb tourine was a standout--fall-apart tender, moist, and rich without being heavy. The sauce was made for mopping up with couscous, and paired beautifully with our carafe of Syrah. Everything was balanced, thoughtfully plated, and delicious without being flashy. Portions and prices were modest, which left room to explore the menu. This is the kind of spot that makes you feel like you're in Paris--not just visiting. Cozy, charming, and quietly brilliant.

RESTAURANT DE LA - TOUR, nestled comfortably in the shadow of the Iron Lady, passes this test with resounding flair. It is not a place that leans on the postcard views for its appeal; instead, it commands attention through the quiet confidence of its kitchen and the warm, genuine hospitality that feels both classic and refreshingly sincere. The menu is a love letter to French technique, but one written with a modern, inventive hand. A meal begins with a clear statement of intent. The Mixed Salad with Pears and Blue Cheese is a masterclass in balance, where the sweet, delicate slices of pear cut through the bold, creamy tang of the cheese. Even more compelling is the Warm Snails Escargots cassolette with Artichokes mousseline and Hazelnuts. This is a definitive departure from the garlic-and-parsley butter trope. The snails, tender and earthy, are nestled in a luxuriously smooth artichoke mousseline, their richness punctuated by the satisfying crunch of hazelnuts. It is a dish that feels both comforting and sophisticated. Enhancing Dining Experience R... The main courses continue this narrative of elevated tradition. The Roasted Filet of Salmon arrives with a crisp skin giving way to a flawlessly moist interior, resting on a vibrant ratatouille that sings of a basil-infused summer. For the richer palate, the Pan-fried Duck Breast is a standout. Sliced into rosy, perfect medallions, its robust flavor is brilliantly offset by a sharp, sweet raspberry sauce and the decadent, creamy embrace of potatoes gratin. Other classics are rendered with equal precision. The Pan-fried Duck Liver, seared to a silken texture, finds its soulmate in a doting apricot marmalade, its sweetness teased out by a whisper of rosemary. The Roasted Chicken Breast, a dish so often mundane, is transformed here. It is supremely juicy, elevated to grandeur by a profound Brie and truffle cheese sauce that is as indulgent as it sounds. No French feast is complete without its final act, and the pastry chef does not disappoint. The Warm Apple Tart Tatin is everything one hopes for in this iconic dessert-caramelized, buttery apples on a sturdy base, its warmth melting the cool vanilla ice cream alongside it. Its rival in decadence, the Warm Melted Chocolate Cake, delivers that timeless, gooey center, a rich eruption that is perfectly tempered by the clean, cold vanilla bean ice cream. RESTAURANT DE LA - TOUR understands that a memorable meal in Paris is more than the sum of its dishes. It is an atmosphere, a feeling. It is the kind of place that doesn't just feed you, but reminds you why French cuisine remains a global beacon. You may come for the landmark nearby, but you will return for the landmark meal.

The place is quite small, located in a nice walkable neighborhood within close distance to the Eiffel Tower, they offered French and English menus and I got to look at both and saw that the prices were the same so that was nice! I got a fish of the day (which was salmon for that evening) along with homemade ratatouille and my husband got the grilled sirloin steak. With every order comes with a basket of bread and butter (which I completely OBLITERATED) and I think the server dropped off two more baskets after the initial one. In my defense, I was very hungry after an extremely long day of travel. As for the wines I got myself the Argentine whereas my husband got himself a St Nicolas De Bourgueil, both paired well with out respective dishes. The portions of the food were great, the salmon was a bit bland for my liking but they did have salt and pepper on the table ready for use so I added those and paired with the ratatouille made for a tasty dish. My husband was happy with his steak, but also wished it was a bit more seasoned (American tastebuds and all).
